Just wanted to step in to announce that for the first week of the Steam Summer Sale (between June 25 - July 2, 2020), we'll be donating part of the proceeds to the Toronto Chapter of Food Not Bombs. If you already own the game, this is a great time to gift the game to a friend or two!
Food Not Bombs is a decentralized organization with groups all around the world. There's very likely one near you! They serve healthy vegan meals, no questions asked, free of charge, to anyone who comes by, using food they've sourced from grocery stores, bakeries, or just community donations. This is food that would have otherwise not been eaten, so while feeding those in need, they are also fighting food waste at the same time. They're a wonderful group of people, and are doing a great thing, and I wanted to help them out in a small way.
Money donated through simply buying the Yawhg will help with purchasing crucial equipment such as masks, gloves, containers, bags, gas, and maybe even an industrial grade soup pot that doesn't fall over when you put it on a flat surface. Food Not Bombs is supported entirely through volunteers and donations so every little bit counts. Below are some images of them in action, gathering food, cooking it, and then serving to the public.
