[Beta branch] Gathering resources

A number of people suggested that resources should be visible on the map even before they are actually researched, so they have an idea what to spend the Advancement Points on.

So, check out the beta branch (pwd: KuChwaleGorda).

We've made a change to displaying resources on the main map. Now, if a resource has not yet been researched (shown in gray in the Research screen), it will show up gray and semi-transparent on the main map too. You will be able to see the location to decide whether it's worth to spend points on it. Note that the corresponding 3d model will not be shown until you actually research the material, we want as little confusion as possible here, so you don't run across the map and set up a camp only to discover you don't know that material yet.

Build v.1.16.1617 + 1.16.1618.0

We've got a next set of changes fixes for you:

- Fixed Logbook that was always stuck on the first event,
- Fix for Dziody - the quest should now properly recognise the type of curse you have and remove it after a win,
- Fixed a bug in the final stage of the giant quest, where the social win did not register as a win,
- Fixed a location spawned by Silveroak,
- Blesses of Health, Strength and Dexterity now also give bonuses to Armour, Damage and Stealth, respectively,
- Fixed voiceover for Dziody event,
- Inventory - characters are now sorted by class, alphabetically,
- A couple spelling fixes

Additions in build 1.16.1618.0:
- Tweaked costs of Advancement Points - these should be significantly cheaper if your'e playing on easier Economy settings,
- One of the bandit quests with a Spores encounter was fixed so that the bandit lair now disappears after a win,
- Logbook - buttons for switching between quests should now provide better feedback on what's selected for viewing,
- Fixed the performance drop.



Build v.1.16.1616.3 [hotfix]

We apologize to all who experienced problems with the game (HUD buttons not working). A fix for the issue is now live.
As a side note, we've added a small change to item crafting system:

Crafting skill now lowers the chance of getting poor quality items, catalyst rarity improves the chance for good quality items (smithy building is still required).
Note that poor quality have priority over good quality (it's rolled first and may block the roll for good quality).

Build v.1.16.1616.1 and DLC downloading

The DLC is still misbehaving for people using family sharing, so we've decided to update the base game with the DLC content. This means you will receive the Giants automatically.
For those who for some reasons want to play without the DLC, we have put the old build in a branch called predlc, which is accessible under Betas in the game's properties.

Also, today's update fixes the following:
- Manage Supplies screen - resource buttons have now appropriately sized hitboxes (http://steamcommunity.com/app/378720/discussions/0/361787186426475165/)
- pad controls have been disabled, so you should no longer see persisting highlights on some buttons,
- adjusted font settings so they should be more legible on lower resolutions. It still is best to avoid anything below 1366x768 unless you have no choice (http://steamcommunity.com/app/378720/discussions/0/361787186423687923/)
- weight should now be calculated correctly when a character is wielding a 2-handed sword in one hand (http://steamcommunity.com/app/378720/discussions/1/361787186427428596/)

How to download the DLC?

The DLC should now be delivered as an automatic update.

A surprising amount of people have trouble downloading and playing the DLC.
So a quick guide:
Visit Thea's DLC page here:
http://store.steampowered.com/app/452890/
and click Install Game/Play Game. The new content should start downloading now.

The Giants have returned, in a gigantic, free DLC!

The DLC is now available to download!



Long version:
Our first DLC is now live, but this time it does not come as an auto-update (unless you're a Mac/Linux user). As promised, it is free, but in order to download it, you need to visit our Steam store page, click on the Return of the Giants DLC - this opens the DLC store page - and click Play Game button. This will download the DLC to your game.

So, what's in it?

New features:


- Localization to German, Polish, Russian and French,
- Full English voiceover for all events,
- Story Events Editor,
- 70 new events,
- 4 new building types,
- 9 new music tracks,
- Additional characters, items and events artwork,
- New human classes and monsters,
- New Quality attribute, which can modify equipment parameters,
- Compare items popup on Equipment screen,
- Research - clicking on a researched resource will show a popup, informing if it was found on the map and add an icon on the top of the HUD, allowing you to view its location,
- Logbook - added eye icon, which locates places linked to the quest,
- HUD - added Pause Menu button in the top left corner,
- HUD - New Turn message when your turn begins,
- Difficulty levels above 5 (up to 10),
- Lair spawn rebalanced to provide more variety and better difficulty control,
- Some recipes can now utilize the least valuable resources such as clay,

Changes:


- Improved Auto-resolve,
- Research costs are varied, some techs cost more than 1RP,
- Vine and Spiderweb give bonus to Ranged weapons,
- Inventory - added two +10 buttons when moving stacks of items,
- Village Warriors can wield 2-handed swords in one hand,
- Card Minigame - clicking on a message dismisses it

Fixes:


- Jewellery items now correctly take up one slot, allowing characters to wear two pieces of jewellery simultaneously,
- Reshuffle should give a different outcome every time,
- Crafting screen - requirement checking should now correctly take into account catalyst requirement

Hotfixes on 15th April


1.16.1615.1
- Jewellery should no longer disappear when there are two similar items equipped in both slots and one of them is taken off,
- Research - it should no longer be possible to unlock recipes for free,
1.16.1615.2
- Joining a camp with an expedition should no longer teleport this expedition to the village.
