We had a ton of fun on Tuesday’s stream with game key giveaways for Revontuli Coast, as well as some surprise one-month subscription keys from our friends at Dolby Atmos. We’ll be doing more of the same next week, so tune in via the Expansive Worlds’ YouTube and Twitch channels at 1800 CEST / 0900 PDT on Tuesday to take part!

Community Update
As far as weeks go, this one has been pretty smooth sailing.
In case you missed it:
Lead Game Designer, Troy Schram stopped by with some cool making-of insights and pictures of the Black Bear Great One for the developer diary we published on Monday;
On Tuesday’s stream, we played guessing games and gave away some Revontuli Coast DLC keys for Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation, and had a CHONK of fun with everyone who joined in.

REVONTULI COAST DLC FEATURES
▸ Explore 25 square miles (64 square kilometers) of stunningly varied nature, spanning across rocky archipelagos, wild fields, thick spruce forests, and vibrant fell hills.
▸ Use the Water Layout Blind to conceal yourself from waterfowl, ducks, and upland birds while in water.
▸ Hunt 19 different species - Revontuli Coast has the largest number of animal species ever featured in a reserve, and includes new and returning favorites such as the Western Capercaillie, Black Grouse, Brown Bear, Whitetail Deer, Raccoon Dog, and many more.
▸ Gaze at the magical Northern Lights that illuminates the night sky.
▸ Discover memorable geographical landmarks such as a large glacial pothole, an impressive balancing rock, and a wondrous gorge.

Additionally, a free update with numerous new improvements, features, and bug fixes is rolling out alongside the release. Highlights include:

There may not have been a stream this week, but wow, were we pumped to share some exciting news.
In case you missed it:
Revontuli Coast is coming to all platforms on June 28th! With 19 animal species, a reworked waterfowl system, and more, we can’t wait to see you jump in and explore the Reserve for yourselves. We’ll also have an updated Patch Notes and Known Issues List to share upon release.

Community Update
Many of you have been wriggling in your seats with the anticipation of what we’ve been brewing in the background. For now, let’s just say that a lot will be happening over the next few weeks.
In the meantime, here’s a roundup of what you may have missed, and some of what’s coming up:
In Monday’s developer diary, UI Designer Ami Tsurugi and UI Developer Magnus Eckers talked about the new Item Wheel feature being introduced for free alongside our upcoming reserve, Revontuli Coast.
Next week, using Finland as an example, Lead Designer Troy Schram will be stopping by to talk about the decision making process behind the chosen locations for each Reserve.
To finish up, there’s no stream next week because we’re jet setting our Community Engagement Manager, JaxyBeard, and his family over to Stockholm for a long overdue IRL team welcome and catch-up! We want him to make the most of his visit before the big move and can’t wait to have him in-house. 🧡
