The event lasts from the 6th of December to the 20th of December, featuring the usual Campaign, Mission but 5 Competitions. On the mission pop-up (use the banner in the launcher or on the website), you'll see a bar for community prizes. Harvest at least 30 reindeer to qualify, slaughter more to fill the bar and gain all your prizes. You do not need to play in multi or single-player, it's up to you how you do your slaying. Gender does not matter. Any reindeer will count.
While you're hunting, keep an eye out for our visitors from Iceland. They're rare, but you might just find a Yule Cat while you're roaming Hemmeldal. Don't worry, they've promised to be nice.
Participate for the prizes, the trophies, and the glory! All hunters with enough reindeer at the end of December 20th will win Community Prizes!

The more Reindeer you harvest, the more in-game prizes you are rewarded. Reindeer includes all fur variations. This is how the prize pool looks:
MISSION
This year's mission is called Away in Hemmeldal
Hemmeldal is the only reserve that really gets into the holiday spirit, so let's spend our time there, shall we? I've got a nice list of items for you to pick up and an even better set of rewards for getting them. Don't worry, you have 2 weeks and they're not that hard. That being said, while you're out there, we have one special holiday guest that you might want to keep an eye out for. There aren't many, so getting one really will be something special. You can spot a Yule Lynx by its spiffy new sweater, worn as a promise not to engage in their usual man-eating activities. They're not a requirement, but we wish you the best of luck getting one this holiday season.
The mission will last through the event's duration from the 6th of December to the 20th of December.
Completing it will earn the hunter the following rewards:
COMPETITIONS
There are 5 comps to sink your teeth into, but remember that since this is the co-op style event, completion only gets you a fluffy, snowflakey feeling. (Snowflakey is now a word, if Shakespeare gets to make up words, the rest of us do too!)

RULES
What would a game be without rules?
We have one simple rule for our events: No exploitation of existing game mechanics to gain an advantage. All winners' hunts will be checked by EW staff prior to prizes being rewarded, and the decision will be final.
In case of exploits usage, EW has a right to disqualify the player from this event.
SALES
And what would an Event be without sales? We're not sure, but we do know that we'd get nasty messages if we skipped them, so we've made sure to put sales in.
Welcome to this year's face-off between the Forum and (mostly) League! Competitors, your tickets have been added and you will be able to join the Invitational. Hunters, there are 2 Open comps for you to join. In the spirit of the Forum, they're a little harder than we might normally do, but give them a shot and have fun. You have 4 days to submit your entries, good luck!

New Stuff:
New Mission Pack - Smoke Pole (Muzzleloader) Missions, they needed some love.
Players now can add up to 3 markers on the Huntermate to better track. There is a way to remove the existing marker by clicking it again or 'remove all markers' at once by clicking the corresponding button on the in-game map.
As our recent implementation of the tooltips on the map got some negative feedback, we decided to improve it by adding a toggle on the in-game map which turns on or off all these tooltips. So everyone can decide what is more convenient for them.
Added a drop-down to select the lodge type while searching for your Friend's lodges.
Bug fixes:
Jeep icon was not visible on the in-game map - fixed
Animation for .17 HMR Lever Action Rifle got broken and moved the weapon to the T pose - fixed
2-10x42 scope was incorrect on 6.5x55 Bolt Action Rifle - fixed
Rusa Deer and Feral Hog toes were visible on the wall plaque - fixed
Tutorial crashed on mounting any large equipment - fixed

Did you hear the distant howling of a crazed man-wolf? No? Head over to Setter Creeks then. As far as we can tell, the Whiro Feral Hogs appeared on Settler Creeks and in a move reminiscent of every zombie movie ever, they infected all the other animals in the reserve too before anyone could even scream. That's right, this year we're on Settler's. Along with Werewolves stalking the shadowy forests, you'll find a host of other creepy creatures, mostly less aggressive but a couple are somewhat dangerous if you get too close. There's new stuff, old stuff, and creepy stuff, so go have fun in the campaign, missions, competitions, and hunting in general.

This year's mission is called Gilles??
Howdy, there seems to be evidence that Gilles de Rais is still among the living... Well, we assume he's living, but it's Halloween and you really can't be sure that just because someone is moving around they're alive, right? We've lost a lot of operatives confirming Gilles' involvement this year (and others? Who can say?). Anyway, we're out of spies, so you're going to have to take what information we can give you and hunt this particular werewolf down! Between all our determined hunters, someone will get GIlles, right? Remember to pack plenty of silver with you, nothing else we have will help you.
While you're out there, Van wanted you to pick up some samples. You may have noticed that once again we have some new critters running around with their werewolf buddies. Make sure you hunt with Wolfsbane and silver, or you're only going to irritate them.
The mission will last through the event duration from the 25th October to the 2nd November
Completing it will earn the hunter the following rewards:
