UPDATE: New boss and other fixes
Hello Dreamers, we have released an update that includes the new boss presented a few days ago and various bug fixes / glitches reported so far. Thank you for playing the game so many and making it better and better.
Introduced the new boss "The Cataloger": it is now possible to choose whether to fight in favor of the dream, freeing the villages from the Entity or the nightmare by defeating The Cataloger.
Slightly redesigned main menu: it is now possible to start a new game which deletes previous saves and allows you to create the character again
Fixed problems with scrollbars in options and credits of the main menu
Fixed most subtitles showing different words than dubbing
Fixed an issue with on-screen fishing instructions

Closed Beta and New Boss Fight
The Closed Beta for There Was A Dream supporters in the Kickstarter campaign started a few days ago. In the meantime, we are adding new content ahead of its release on September 2nd and among them is a new boss fight!
Deepening the story and the duality of good / evil and dream / nightmare we have added another choice that the player can make: fight the Entity and restore the dream or the Cataloger and increase the nightmare.

Progress update #3
Hello everyone, today we show you how we imagined the dimension of dreams. In this interactive cutscene Xehor travels to find the chosen one, the character that you will play as throughout the adventure.

We have almost completed the implementation of the localization system, which thanks to a text file where all words and phrases are saved, allows you to change the language.
We have also almost completed the implementation of the skill system. We lack a few details such as icons for each skill and some refinements.
We will soon start working on the initial cutscenes, which will lead the player to the tutorial and then to the game world.

Progress update #2
Hello everyone,
we've been focusing on a lot of things in these weeks and are working at a faster pace than ever, but first look at the new clip about the fishing minigame.

As we said, among other things we are focusing on:
LOCALIZATION We are implementing the localization of the game, which will be released in Italian, English, French, Spanish and German. We could do it in time, before the release, to add more languages, but at the moment we don't make promises.
SHOPS We are dressing up the style of the shops, where it is possible to buy fruit, vegetables, potions and other useful objects for crafting and missions. Shops, like the presence of NPCs, are regulated by the time of day and whether or not you are in the nightmare.
IMPROVEMENTS In addition to all this, we are defining small and big things that we had deliberately left behind: interface improvements, a new style for inventory items, improved appearance of some places etc.
We will show you everything in the coming weeks. Don't forget to spread the word about this game and also advise your friends to add There Was A Dream to their Steam Wishlist!
