Here are the highlights:
ːtbphappyː macOS Catalina support!
For those who don't know, the latest macOS version cut off support for 32-bit games and apps, including They Bleed Pixels. This update brings us up to 64-bit making it compatible with Catalina and future macOS updates.
ːtbphappyː Fixes for issues caused by Windows 10 and newer hardware!
A small number of players have run into issues with They Bleed Pixels not loading on newer hardware in Windows 10. This update should handle those special cases. Give us a shout if it doesn't!
ːtbphappyː Improved Gamepad support
This includes a number of things. Support for hot swapping. New button images and detection for Dual Shock, Xbox One and Switch Pro controllers and a fix for the bug that caused sticky inputs when playing on keyboard with a gamepad plugged in. We strongly recommend not using any of Steam's built in gamepad support when playing the game. The game does a much better job providing correct button prompts etc..

The Nintendo Switch port also allowed us to update the Steam versions, bringing 64bit support to Mac OS, more controller support and a bunch of little fixes to issues that have cropped up over the years. You can read the details here!

They Bleed Pixels is now playable in Japanese!
:tbphappy:Thanks to the fine folks at Playism you can now play They Bleed Pixels in Japanese. Everything from the chapter start quotations to the bonus artist bios has been translated, and we worked closely with Playism to ensure that the game’s unique typography and design was preserved. You can read more about the localization process on our blog (which is unfortunately English only :tbpsad: ).

They Bleed Pixels Speedrun at Awesome Games Done Quick 2015
Watch the current speedrun champion Squidclaw do a full run through They Bleed Pixels’ story mode with developer commentary streamed live Monday night (12:15am EST) during the Awesome Games Done Quick 2015 speedrunning marathon for charity.
Squidclaw holds the current record for a full story run at just over 30 minutes and five deaths and his playthroughs are a wonder to behold. Miguel Sternberg level designer and artist behind They Bleed Pixels will be doing live commentary of the run and we’re providing a prize pack including a t-shirt, a rare Little Black Envelope Edition of They Bleed Pixels and other physical goodies.
