Update 1.5

With this new update 1.5, I've taken player feedback and incorporated some changes and tweaks to the game, as well as some bug fixes.

  • The Xenolith now also slows time in addition to its previous function.
  • Tweaked sanity details; sanity regenerates slightly faster for example.
  • Reduced some enemy placements, especially around areas with key items
  • Enemies no longer chase you as long as they used to.
  • Fixed a bug causing enemies to move at full speed in water.
  • Fixed a bug that caused finding Lorenzo to not register in your objectives as completed.
  • Finding Lorenzo is now a checkpoint.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the xenolith's UI elements to sometimes not show correctly after respawning.
  • Fixed a bug that sometimes caused objectives to not be registered correctly after respawning.
  • Fixed a bug that caused some items to remain in the world even after being picked up.
  • Fixed a bug that caused checkpoints to not register correctly under specific conditions.
  • Fixed typos and other miscellaneous mistakes.
  • Tweaked audio glitches and/or bugs.

Update 1.4

This update fixes a lot of the bugs that weren't already fixed since release, including:

  • Fixed a bug that would cause some special items to continue scrolling dialogue infinitely, preventing the player from continuing
  • Tweaked some of the UI menu screens to better fill the screen at various resolutions
  • Fixed audio glitches involving some environmental and enemy sounds
  • Fixed a bug that would prevent some items from displaying text properly
  • Fixed a bug causing text to sometimes be cut short


UPCOMING CHANGES:

  • Design tweaks, such as how the xenolith functions
  • More audio tweaks
  • Alterations to some of the enemy behavior
  • Fine tuning of sanity / xenolith balance

Bug Fixes and Updates

Releasing the game has uncovered some bugs/glitches etc that slipped through the cracks before, so I'm preparing a new update for the game to fix most of these. Today I fixed one relatively major bug:


  • On some menu screens, the mouse would become locked in the center of the screen.
