Update Announcement (0.1.86)
Dear gamers,
In order to update Tiger Knight to version 0.1.86, we will be bringing our servers down for maintenance on 16th June 2017.
Servers will be unavailable for approximately 5 hours, with the exact times as follows:

Update Content
Ladder Tournament After a trial run of more than 2 months, the ladder tournament will be closed after this update. Players who have achieved ladder ranks will receive related rewards.
Zhong Langjiang Armored Military Uniform The ‘Armored Military Uniform’ was an advanced attire worn by generals during the fall of the Han dynasty. The uniform consisted of bright pallets on the exterior, vermilion Chinese robe on the interior, a metal helmet and iron tipped boots. The bright pallets were a new form of armor that appeared during this time. These pallets were painstakingly polished and supplemented with bronze to make them dazzle in the daylight and exude an air of style.
New Adjutant: Huangfu Song Huangfu Song was a military general and strategist who lived in the Eastern Han dynasty. He was born in Liangzhou to a family of generals and became famous for leading his troops to victory over the Yellow Turban forces in locations such as Changshe, Guangzong, and Quyang, thereby playing a pivotal role in ultimately suppressing the Yellow Turban rebellion. He was also involved in the suppression of the North-West rebellion, the operation to wipe out Dong Zhuo's bloodline, and he was the first important military figure during the fall of the Han dynasty.
First Recharge Event June 21st – July 25th, players charging any amount of money or buying any DLC will get the intermediate level weapon ‘Gaul Bloody Sword’, 2 Soldier Seals-B, and a Thunder Silver Chest. The gifts will be sent to the in-game box.
Supply Box The reward pool has been updated to include the rare weapon ‘Dragon banner crossbow’.
Adjustments
Mode After being successfully matched into a PVE battle, players will then be able to choose their unit.
The soldiers on the battlefield will now behave more like a single unit.
The collision size of soldiers has been adjusted so that it’s easier for them to switch formations, and avoid becoming stuck in the enemies and clustering together.
The ‘concept of army’ is strengthened and the different acceleration speed of soldiers is unified so that they can keep up with the speed of the general, and move as a whole more easily during combat.
A ‘Team Flag’ will be available to help players understand the movement and status of the team.
Command Mode-Stronghold
If no enemy general is present at a stronghold, the player near the stronghold can directly occupy it.
Taking the medical site and supply site will give a buff to teammates.
The buff gained from medical site is prolonged to 60 seconds, recovering 4% of the general’s health points every 4 seconds and 3% of the horse’s health points. The buff gained from supply site is prolonged to 60 seconds, recovering 10% ammo every 4 seconds and 30% of the shield durability.
The enemy marshal’s health points will also be increased after a teammate occupies a stronghold, and it will not reduce when the enemy takes back the stronghold.
The medical site and supply site are refreshed to appear anywhere on the map randomly, but the strongholds at the central area of the map will always be recruitment sites.
Marshal The initial health points of the marshal is lowered to 1800.
General The health points required to trigger the fury state is adjusted to 100.
The recovery effect is improved by 20% when the general wears the infantry equipment.
Soldiers The damage melee soldiers can do to the general is improved from 20% to 50%.
The damage caused by ranged weapons used by the general and soldiers will be affected by the height difference between the attacker and his enemy.
The duration time of morale outburst skill is decreased from 85 seconds to 40 seconds, its cooldown time is lowered from 120 seconds to 60 seconds, and its damage is improved to 20%. In addition, the recovery speed of stamina during this skill will be improved.
The heavy pike men and heavy cavalry can charge to break the formation of the enemy while other units will stop to fight when they touch the enemy.
Replenishment skill of soldiers: recovers 2% of the ammo every second and 2% shield durability.
Recovery skill of soldiers:recovers 1% of health points every second.
The shooting speed of Righteous White Horses is lowered by 10% and its accuracy is improved by 10%.
The attack speed of Fearless Vanguards in melee combat is decreased by 10% and its accuracy is increased by 10%.
The ranged shooting speed of Central Ranger and Qingzhou Horse Archers is reduced by 15%.
Exploits The following exploits are adjusted:
Recruitment Talent I: recruit one blue level adjutant.
Recruitment Talent II: recruit one purple level adjutant.
Elite Units I: unlock one elite unit of basic level.
Elite Units II: unlock one elite unit of intermediate level.
Elite Units III: unlock one elite unit of advanced level.
Crack Troops: unlock three elite units of advanced level.
Wei Troop: unlock three basic level units, three intermediate level units and three advanced level units of Wei.
Shu Troop: unlock three basic level units, three intermediate level units and three advanced level units of Shu.
Wu Troop: unlock three basic level units, three intermediate level units and three advanced level units of Wu.
Others
The rules for “Highlighted Players” of duel mode has been modified. Losing your life in vain will not make you one of the “Highlighted Players”.
The TAB screen during battle: the number of enemy’s soldiers will appear after being scouted.
We have improved the immersion of the battlefield by increasing the default FOV (Field of View). Players will still be able to adjust the camera distance by pressing + and – on the keyboard.
Bugs Fixed
The defense capability of some units was incorrect when they used the high morale skill.
The movement speed of infantry in Snake formation was unusually high.
The defense effect of adjutant’s Strong Bone skill was incorrect.

Developers’ Note 6.9 – The Long Awaited Female Characters
In our last Dev Note we provided a brief tease of our upcoming female characters, and many players have been eagerly anticipating their arrival. We can confirm that the Tiger knight team are working around the clock to bring these new female characters to the battlefield as soon as possible! In today’s Dev Note we’d like to shed some more light on what you can expect to see when they finally appear.
Design Philosophy
Once the decision was made to include female characters, the development team thought long and hard about the best way to incorporate them into the existing game. In the end we agreed that the female character’s design and appearance should fit the demands of the battlefield, first and foremost. As a result, they may not exhibit the over-exaggerated aesthetics that you may have seen from female characters in other games, but instead possess the unique charm of a badass woman general stepping out onto the field of battle.
The Advantages and Disadvantages of Female Characters
Female characters in Tiger Knight will have a smaller profile than those of their male counterparts, and will be less vulnerable to ranged attacks. However they also have important disadvantages, such as reduced health pools, and as they weigh less than their male counterparts they are more likely to be knocked down during hand-to-hand combat.
Current Development Progress
At this point in time, we have basically finished the female equipment for Wei, Shu and Wu, however the specialized fashion for them and the Roman female equipment are still in development. Our vision is to create true women warriors for the battlefields of Tiger Knight. On release, you can choose to set up a new character or reselect the gender of your existing character in order to create your desired female face.
This wraps up today’s extended introduction of the female characters. For more content updates, please keep an eye out for our next developers’ note!

Developers’ note 5.27 - Update Feedback and Female Characters
Following the May 23rd update, several players reported that they were unable to play the game smoothly, or were running into unusual issues. We sincerely apologize to anyone affected. We are also very grateful for the active feedback you gave us, including detailed descriptions and log files. Compensation packs have be handed out to all players, please keep an eye out for our compensation announcement.
In the meantime, we’d like to address some of the aforementioned issues in more detail. There’s also a teaser for the upcoming female characters at the end, for those who read all the way to the bottom (or skip down all the way…cheaters!)
Q: After quitting a battle the soldiers and adjutant remain stuck on the battlefield, and the client crashes when loading into a battlefield.
A: The soldiers-stuck-in-battle problem happened to a few Asia server players after the update, and a number of EU server players faced the client crash problem when logging into the game. Again, we regret that any player should encounter these bugs, but thanks to the detailed descriptions and log files you provided we have identified a solution and the problem will be resolved imminently. Q: I can’t log into the game, it’s stuck on the loading screen.
A: Check if there’s a program starting with “kingdom” in the task manager. If there is, please wait a little longer, as the loading time differs from computer to computer.
But if there is no such program in the task manager, that may be caused by missing game files. Please check (steam/steamapps/common/TigerKnight_EW/TigerKnightEnv) and run the test tool. You can also reinstall the required files from （steam/steamapps/common/TigerKnight_EW/_CommonRedist）.
Q: After buying an item, I can’t find it anywhere / the item is lost.
A: First please check your in-game mailbox, as all rewards will be sent there. Second, if you have retrieved the attachment from the mail, the rewards will then move to your character’s storage. If you still can’t find the item after checking both in-game mailbox and storage, please send your server, in-game name, and time of the purchase to tigerknighten_support@oasgames.com, and we will help you find it.
Q: Any news on female characters?
A: It’s been a long time coming, but the wait is almost over! The main content of our next big update will be the inclusion of playable female characters. The release date has not been set yet but we are aiming for this summer. To give a taste of what you can expect to see on launch, we’ve included a few character designs below. We hope you like what the team has been working on, and please continue to leave your feedback and impression on all things Tiger Knight!

It seems that a number of players are having difficulties following our most recent update， including “sync error”，crashing on loading, and units becoming stuck in battle.
In order to assist with identifying the causes of these problems, we would kindly ask that affected players please send the following details as attachments to tigerknighten_support@oasgames.com, or post reply and upload the attachments in this thread on the official forum：

You should be able to do this by right clicking on the folder and selecting the relevant option.
Once we have all of the above information we will be able to review from our side.
