Updated logs on progress please read.

This is exactly what I am currently doing.

I am taking out the shooter game base. By doing this I am going to be getting rid of a lot of bugs simply from doing this.

I am also working on the zombies patrolling

Zombies react on sight of character instead of always seeking the player - Completed: 6/11 11:30pm

Zombies reacting to sound. So if a gun fires more will come.

New mesh. I have a marks full body mesh in game now, I am currently
working on being able to switch from 3rd person to fps.

Pistol blend space to wield a pistol

Level design specifically the city, the zoo, the prison and the train area.

Great progress has been made to all the levels so far and still working on it.

Adding in save points

I am also working on a system that when you actually save gabby you have to get her through safety throughout the game. She will be following you and the enemies can attack her as well, so you will have to not only defend yourself but her as well.

Based upon this I have gabby already following the player and am currently working on the enemy applying damage to gabby.

So far I have new weapons in game. The weapon system will be much better once I add the rest of the system into the game. This is what I am currently working on. Last night I added the mesh all new animations, got the fps/3rd person camera to work, and got gabby to follow the player.

Once I have this system complete X-17 will be greatly updated. I can use the same system with modifications which should fix all the bugs with the a.i. basically am killing 2 birds with one stone.

Update - 6/13/2016
Worked on the game the past 12 hours. Time 12:28pm. Worked on getting 3rd person view fully functional with blendspace, a.i and much more.

Hello everyone,

I am literally in the process of rebooting T.R at this time. We are going to start to see many updates coming out quick! The current build is a just a taste of what is yet to come. If anyone has any questions please let me know!

New update!

Ok Liked I said in the previous post their was some issues I was going to address.

So I fixed the weird city problem
The weapon pickups.
Some geo issues.

MAJOR UPDATE OUT

Ok

Fixed a lot of issues.

Fixed the level streaming and loading issues,
Fixed the continue, you can now select levels
I changed out the arm mesh for the orignal
I fixed the weapon animations much better now
Fixed the particle impact issues. The zombies were not showing blood but they are now!

I fixed a flashlight issue.
I optimzed the game even more.
I added an additonal level
I took out the broken zombie sounds
I changed the zombies health and made it lower
I fixed the zombies not dying even after their health meter runs out
(doesn't have health meter just an expression)
I fixed some collision issues.
I took out the ak47 for the orginal crossbow.


Issues I noticed.
When shooting the ground a blood effect will appear. I fixed that orginally, but must have did something when I fixed the blood issues on the zombies themselves. I will get his fixed.

I had a hard time picking up weapon drops. Don't worry though you are loaded with plenty of ammo. I will fix this.


Other than that this is a pretty big update and I did a lot of work.

You still cannot take damage, I plan on finishing up the A.i This coming week, and once that is done will get the health worked out.

Hello everyone.

Ok so we should have the game just about all back together tonight, and am hoping one of my voice actors gets a scene done that will explain what happened with the Obelisk and more.

Just wanted to let everyone know.

Will post an actual update tonight when I upload the new build on what has improved.

I will be working on the level design finishing that off properly, and tweaking somethings out on the play mechanics. Going to be wrapping up T.R here pretty quick in the next couple of days.

New Build Coming up in about an hour

What I did.

I took out a lot of copy and paste, and extended out the prison.

I added a lot more blood, and a few other surprises you all might find interesting. The mood is differently getting spookier by the builds I am creating.

Diffidently a survival horror now.

I still have tweaks to make and extend out + add previous levels in the game which I will continue to work on. But I can safely say this game doesn't play anything like it did before. Its a good thing. Game is still the same just play mechanics, have changed for the most part.

NEW BUILD IS UP

After some feedback

We went ahead and changed the 3rd person back to First.
Worked on some animation montages.
Added back in the original start level to the second level.
Made the opening scene more interesting for game play!

Guys this really has come along way already. Its very hard to describe how much better it is.

This is what I did with the A.I

The A.I was code based/ blueprints. I ripped out all the coding, and did it on blueprints. The result is much better. The game runs and plays smoother. The A.I doesn't get caught up or act stupid anymore.

The A.I when attacking will not apply damage to the player yet, I will work on that in the next few updates. But I will not do that part yet till I add a bit more to the a.i to balance things out.

You don't have a ton of weapons any more. You have 2. A pistol and the ak47. Ammo is scarce ou have to find ammo.

I took out that second flashlight.

Gabby is now in the game, talks, crawls, runs around.

Added in some more voice acting as well.

Did a lot guys, you really need to play it, I really need feedback on it. This is a hell of an improvement. I actually enjoy playing it now.
