Locations and Chapters
Troopers! We always need good intel. Let's take a look at where we will be putting boots on the ground.
CHAPTER 1:
PRINCE OUT OF PERSIA With a desert setting. A young ambitious Prince beloved by his people but restricted by his family has gone missing - feared captured by rebels while on a ‘soul searching’ mission. His family fear international involvement if the news was to break, so they procured the services of the troopers to resolve the situation quickly, and above all, quietly.
CHAPTER 2:
EMAIL SCAMS Set in the jungles of South America. The Talon group has received a series of ‘scam’ emails requesting help with numerous issues occurring in Central Africa, with hefty rewards in return for their assistance. Replying to spam is never usually a good idea but all of the messages received have been backtracked to a single source. Why could this be? The troopers decided to find out, with or without the rewards.
CHAPTER 3:
YUKON BE SERIOUS?! Brrr! Set in the snowcapped regions of Western Canada. Schroder, the crazed strongman. The Lookalike of a powerful President has taken the persona to the extreme. He's commandeered some of the President's military and is attempting to take the Yukon
CHAPTER 4:
GULF COURSE OF ACTION Back in a desert locale. The multinational conglomerate, HariBerry Industries, has been steadily making plays for control of more and more regions and resources in the area. HariBerry Industries and its security sub-contractor, Beigewater, have been unlawfully seizing oil fields, strategicallyimportant locations and even villages throughout the region. The national government - already fragile, doesn’t have the resources to directly combat the company so they have requested the trooper’s services. Help push back against the pernicious corporate hostile takeover.
CHAPTER 5:
MARCHING POWDER KEG A powerful cartel boss down in the jungles of South America is attempting to establish his own little nation, referring to this fledgling rogue state by the incredibly unwieldy acronym, TONYM: Trans Orinoco Nation of Yeyo Manufacturers. Wealthy beyond imagination he has armed a bunch of locals, hired desperate mercenaries and even lured some ‘loyal’ soldiers away from their national armies to help in his endeavours. The troopers have been recruited by several governments in the region to help shut the boss down.
CHAPTER 6:
HERMIT KINGDOM The UN has become alarmed by a number of claims being made by a small country known as the ‘Hermit Kingdom’, these claims range from the truly weird to the actually scary! The UN has commissioned the troopers to investigate, and ideally, shut any of them down if they’re real.
The Tiny Troopers franchise began as a mobile game, with its first release on June 7th, 2012. As the brainchild of the multi-award winning Finish mobile studio, Kukouri Mobile Entertainment, both the top down squad based multidirectional shooter ‘Tiny Troopers’ and ‘Tiny Troopers 2’ were immediate successes on Mobile, and later on PC - managing to simultaneously provide bite-sized arcade shooter action and scratch that Cannon Fodder nostalgia itch for those of us old enough to get misty-eyed over names like Jools, Jobs and Stoo.

In 2014, Epiphany Games (Devs of Tiny Troopers: Global Ops) joined the fray. Here, they brought the updated version of the original two Tiny Troopers games combined to the Xbox One platform which we now know as ‘Tiny Troopers: Joint Ops’, as well as adding new content to the game known as the ‘Zombie Campaign DLC’.

We felt that the gameplay of Tiny Troopers would be a perfect fit for the Nintendo Switch platform, so a deal was struck, so we set about creating our sequel and homage to the original Tiny Troopers games.
Tiny Troopers: Global Ops The vision for Tiny Troopers: Global Ops from Epiphany Games and Wired stemmed from the feeling that the series truly deserved a sequel to Joint Ops; we wanted to bring Troopers to next-gen consoles while modernizing the gameplay for the current audience and sprinkling in a new big feature - co-operative multiplayer!
For this modernizing tribute, we knew that we had to keep the same excellent gameplay, a humorous take on war, while maintaining a serious undertone which was seen in the previous titles. One of the key challenges we faced was staying true to the original Tiny Troopers art and visual style while adapting the game to the new visual tools and capabilities of current game engines.
The number one and key feature added for Tiny Troopers: Global Ops was cooperative play, both online and couch co-op with cross-play available between consoles and PC for up to four players. Admittedly we did underestimate the challenges involved with making a game work within the multiplayer requirements for each individual platform, however, we were determined not to budge on this being an important part of Global Ops identity, and something that gamers should be able to expect in multiplayer games in 2022! It took a lot of work, but I am sure the end result will be worth the hours it took to happen!
Overall we believe that we have created a sequel that has kept all of the elements that made the original ‘Tiny Troopers@ great, while adding new elements to bring the troopers up to speed with a modern audience - Troopers! Let's squad up and hit the battlefield together!

We have had one week since we deployed on Steam and consoles. Here we wanted to put together intel on how to increase your chances of survival on the battlefield.
Lock and Load
The more you play, the faster you can upgrade. The pistol is the first weapon you start with and upgrade that fully to move on to the much more deadly SMG. Upgrading after every mission will increase your abilities.
Caution favours the brave
Don't just go running in blindly. Take your time and pick your shots. Check your corners for hidden objectives, dog tags and health packs.
4 heads are better than 1
Upgrade to a four-man squad as soon as possible if playing solo. Host a lobby and get a 4 player squad to battle. There is safety in numbers. join the Tiny Troopers Discord and you will have no problem filling up that squad.
Never leave a man behind
Keep an eye on your squad mates' health. Share those first aid drops and make sure to revive if a comrade falls. Many a team has failed when they have played as four lone wolves.
Stop Shooting the chickens
You will soon realise that if you shoot these balls of feathers. You will have a minus score. STOP SHOOTING THE CHICKENS!

Players can battle solo as a lone wolf or team up in couch co-op with 3 friends for split-screen action. Alternatively, players can take on Tiny Troopers: Global Ops in online co-op with friends on any available format.
The multiplayer rollout has been a huge amount of work, as we were determined to bring full cross-play across all formats. Launching today, but continuing to be developed and optimised you’ll be able to join games with players across PC, Switch, Xbox and PlayStation. Currently, at launch, Nintendo players will only be able to join rather than host games, but as we stabilise the servers and optimise with more players joining, we hope to be able to turn on the ability to host in the coming days.
Tiny Troopers has always been an ‘evergreen’ title for us - today might be the launch but we are committed to continuing to develop and optimise the game over the coming months. We ask players to send any feedback to our feedback page, our Discord or through Steam.
