The biggest speedrunning event in Japan, RTA in Japan Summer 2023, was held from August 10 to 15, 2023, and TOKOYO: The Tower of Perpetuity was featured in the event!
Speedrunning, or RTA (Real Time Attack) in Japan, is where you try to beat a game as fast as possible and compare your time with other players.

To commemorate TOKOYO's participation in the event, we've added RTA-chan, the mascot character for RTA in Japan, to the game as an official mod. The mod comes with an original story as well, so do your best to beat it, or maybe even attempt a speedrun yourself!

This game combines a tower that changes completely every 24 hours and some light social features, 2 elements that are rarely (if ever!) combined together. TOKOYO: The Tower of Perpetuity Full Version is Finally Here!
Hi everyone,
Once again, a massive thank you to all of you who have been waiting for TOKOYO: The Tower of Perpetuity's full release. We really really appreciate your patience as we continued to get the game ready for this huge day.
As of now the game has officially graduated from Early Access into the full 1.0 version! We hope you're excited for the powered-up version of the game!
In the full version, you will be able to enjoy the following features:

New maps (over 300!) and gimmicks
Practive mode with challenging bosses

TOKOYO: Tower of Perpetuity Steam Full Version releases on June 2nd!

Thank you all for waiting! We would like to give huge thanks to all the fans who have been supporting the game since its Steam Early Access debut in November 2020! The game has now been updated based on the supportive user feedback and on June 2nd, players will now be able to play the full version!
The Early Access Steam version will receive the following updates via full version patches.

Mod features enhanced (OP story added, etc.)

New map gimmicks

Significant increase in auto-generated variations (over 300!)
