2022.1 UPDATE

Hello,

I'ts been a while!.

I've been working on porting the game to Play Station. It's been a hard work but at least its done. The bad news are that unlike on Xbox, the release has been a flop, hence future updates are compromised.

YET, this update comes with new stuff!!

NEW URBAN MAP




Due to low sales I could not keep on with the Akihabara HD model. Yet I felt like the game needed another urban map, and here it is!


GARAJE MODE



You can enjoy the nice work of modelers in a cool Shibuya crossing environment, regardless of your current rank or DLC ownership you can check all tanks. Some basic stats like unlock rank, armor, gun power ar displayed.


MISC
There are a lot of small tweaks all over.

Hope you enjoy this update, likely is the last one. I was only able to continue due to moderate success in Xbox platform, Xbox ID program has some basic promotion which I believe really helped.

In the other platforms I really felt like a disposable one time use item.

UPDATE 2021.2 MEGAUPDATE

This is likely the last update, I've worked like an slave to make this project work but I failed, the number of reviews can give you an idea of how south the thing has gone, the only reason I managed to keep on updating has been the somewhat decent performance in Xbox, thank you Xbox players!.

Steam has become an horrible place for developers and I whant to keep exploring other platforms, I'll soon start working on the Play Station version. Thanks Sony for letting me in.

UPDATE 2021.1 MULTIPLAYER

HELLO!

MULTIPLAYER is finally here!!

So much hardwork!! I'm so tired that I can barely find energy to writ this news.

Multiplayer is marked as alpha becasue despite the core features are working I've limited hability to test. So there could be bugs or issues I was not able to run into, that said everything is spected to work.

In multiplayer Team Deathmatch and Deathmatch modes are available.

EU, US & JP servers are availalbe. More asian servers will be enabled in a future release.

Only ping limitation is that high ping players can´t create matches, this is so the AI bots (if added) don´t lag on other clients.

HOT WO PLAY
Choose the closest server to yout location or hit Auto to get the lowest ping one.
You can create or join a match.
Create lets you cherry pick how the match is gonna be, selecting tank era, game pace, pickups ... you can also create a private match to play with your mates, just let them know the match name .

Or you can Join random and fall at any exiting match or go to lobby to check for the existing matches that fit your taste. In lobby you can also enter private match name.

Remember that this is an indie game developed by one person, the player base is small, I can´t do development and promotion, so I focus on development, That said, may be best for playing an online match is to play with your friends or look for tankers in the DISCORD.

MULTIPLAYER ALPHA -- NEXT WEEK

Hello.

I'm glad to announce that at the end of next week, the game will be updated.

This update will feature MULTIPLAYER mode in alpha stage.

The major features of the multiplayer will be running but expect some to be missing, and possibly, bugs.

Deathmatch & Team Deathmach (extra mode in near future)

It will initially release with 3 servers, US EU and Japan.

On release there will be no ping limitations other than high ping users won´t be able to create matches.

This update adds a new map, Wasteland, features a terrain shading technique with tessellation, it allows for the tank threads to penetrate terrain.



Wasteland and Winterlands maps feature terrain tessellation.

On first launch "baptism" game mode would not autoselect (gamepad only)


**due to a glitch in the game engine, you've to play wirelessly via bluetooh, if you connect USB the input will be glitched. Rumble is not yet available for ps4 controller due to the USB glitch. Glitch has been reported to Unity.

The game deserves it

Hello.

After many years of hard work and continuous updates I think this game deserves recognition.

At the moment, lays forgotten in the dark, at the very bottom of the pile of ignored games, still keeps getting udpates, 2020.3 coming with a new map in a matter of minutes right after this vote request is placed.

Graphical overhaul is now complete, game looks nicer than ever.

The handling of every existing tank has been tweaked and the aiming system reworked for smoother operation, allowing for more distant shots also with the help of the new rangefinder.

A note on controls:
Best way to play the game is Xbox gamepad, or a gamepad with xbox like mapping.
plz do not use PS4 controller as seems to need a big deadzone for trigger, also the PS4 profile seems to need rework, will be fixed soon now that I've a ps4 controller.
Rumble for gamepads will be added soon, it really makes a change!.
I'll consider tweaking keyboard steering to something more refined since now is like steering to the max right/left on each key hit. To avoid confusion, keyboard/mouse is as allways.

Minimap has been reworked.

There are a *hitton of improvements all over the game, I don´t whant to take too much of your time here, just play the game and discover them on the go.

This update is also available on the Xbox version.

Please rate the game if you like it, it has just 36 reviews on Steam, I feel like if the game was bullied.

UPDATE 2020.1

Hello.

I'm back, so is the game.

This update focuses in graphics.




  • Enhanced anime mode shading
  • Switched from linear to gamma space-->better colours
  • Antialiasing technique upgrade from FXAA to TAA
  • Sunset and Night modes!! both added to all nature maps and Sunset to harbour map.




  • Upgraded desert map textures




  • Game engine upgraded



Some performance tricks have been implemented, theese dissable some resource consuming features based in distance to player, some minor future tweaks may be needed such as adapting distanced based on quality level etc...

In next update I'll add new tanks, I'll add what probably is most requested tonk, the Leopard 2.
I've a line up of docens of tanks already modelled and whaiting to be rigged. Expect no less than 10 new units on next update!!

I believe multiplayer will be a feature before this year ends.
