Its no secret that Multiplayer servers are shy, much more than desirable.

Three main channels refer to each regional server available in the game, each offering 3 chat rooms.

Main channels:
*United States
*Asia || Japan
*EU || Russia.

>>Asian server is in Japan and also there is an important user base in there this is why its shown separated, same for EU-RU, server is in the Netherlands.

Thanks also to player __ >>JIu3HyJI_HocoK<<__ who proposed a similar initiative on the discussion board. If Russian players are more confortable with its propossal feel free to follow that. EU players will be also happy to fight against Ru players so may be post a notice on Team speak if you arrange some battles :D.

Remembar that players on each regional game servers see only players in that server.


The T.S channel si there to arrangel MP battles or chatting about the game. NEVER share your passwords in there, NO transactions, NO disrespectfull language, NO SPAM or any other kind of bullshit.

Calm after the storm

Hi tankers>>

Its been two weeks since release, and the ride has been kind of bumpy, the first week in particular.

Apologies for all the issues reported, from the dev side the response has been as quick as possible adressing these, so far no less than 30 builds have gone live since release, most on the first week.
I do not recall any day on the first week where I did not see the sun raising after an ultra long work day.


In what remains of 2016 the roadmap is as follows:

-Welcome tutorial
-Main gun stabilizer [DONE]
-New turret control system
-Skins
-More tanks & crews
-More maps
-Full gamepad support
-VIVE

Atm the biggest priority is the main gun stabilizer witch for very little was not fit into latest update, but no one whants to recall the "auto spin" turret issue alike so will come when tested to be fully functional.
Now that this is moved to next update it will come aside with new turret behavior (unless the ressult is not satisfying). These are features needed as the tanks availability increases so that differences betwen each are more remarkable.

The order of things might change but I can clearly see the first 5 pinned.

As ussual these are the main features to come but updates will come packed with many other minor upgrades like crew volume control, custom music folder, more ranks, sfx, new vfx etc...

Patch 4 Live >>

Hi all.

Patch 4 is ready and includes the following changes/upgrades:

AUDIO
New entry theme. Available too on Flycam fm.
New on spawn audio.
Critical status voide over removed.

UI (dektop & vr)
Turret orientation miniature (only desktop).
New Misc menu.
Chase camera distance & height sliders.
Y sensitivity slider fixed. (did not load value from previous session).
Machinegun overheat color on spawn issue solved.
Wider console msg area.
Enemy/friend hit indicator.


GENERAL

Track trail marks.

Option to avoid spawning on occupied spots, Options>>Misc>>Boring spawns. Its not bulletproof but should reduce almost totally, please report if not.

Osaka map, most of the props are now destructable, trees traffic lights, lights, barrels...

Maps & destructable elements have been polished to avoid as much as possible tank getting stuck and to roll over them with ease.
(Osaka map will yet receive upgraded colliders to totally avoid building edges)


Self kill detection, wether it is AI or player it counted in the final stats board. (Tends to happen with short range HE usage)

Removed brands from containers & cars.

MANY, minor adjustments and fixes.

Previous version had improved Russian translation kindly provided by a Russian player. The Images including text will be updated in next release. Tx!


Known issues related to this release:
**In VR the chase cam trips from origin to tank each time is switched.
**In osaka map there is a breakable lamp that needs to be reworked.

Later today or tomorrow a new announcement will be made.

Patch 3 Live >>

Hi>>

This patch will be the last covering critical aspects of the game.

This patch includes:

>Minor fixes reported after previous update

>Rebuilt killcounter, tested on SP & MP.*

>Fixed MP minimap

>Fixed enemy/friendly kill issue in MP.

>Polishings in the collision objects, mainly Oi-Terminal.


*It could happen that an AI blows itself due to close range HE usage, in that case that death does not go to counter.

Multiplayer should now work correctly, yet it has not been possible to test it in depth due to DSL line performance issue. It seemed the tanks not to be smooth after a while, witch is rare as it has been tested to run smooth in the past and network code is intact since.

If you're connected to the server of your region and the tanks do not move smootly please report.

There will be one las Patch 4 in 24-48h culminating the revision of the release build.

This patch will integrate all the remaining upgrades such as menu options, UI information such as turret orientation and all the remaining tweaks required to tune the game after the many modifications it has come along from release to date.

A new announcement with the roadmap will be made after it is released.

edit:MP related issue seemed to be a punctual issue with EU server. If you experience extreme lag on EU server please connect to US server and repport.

Hello Tankers>>

Important upgrades in this patch.

This is a recopilation of the upgrades developed today.

These upgrades have been made following the feedback provided on the discussion area and players feedback.

COLLISIONS
>All the bullet collision detection issues solved. You can now fire enemy tanks in the face. Remember that HE round will cause self damage in very close range.
>No more miss-shots.


CAMERA
>Smooth third person camera that no longer is tied to tanks up&downs. Will be added sliders in options to adjust distance an heigh (clamped). This was widely requested.
>No longer bumpy marker. in VR yes marker.

INPUT:
>Classic turn in reverse. Users where demanding that in reverse the tank did turn like in other games, go to options>>Controls>>Classic Reverse Turn

>No longer reads joystic analog in keyboard mode to allow dead zone interferences or similar issues. Enable joystic from Controls>>X-360 Controller

>Sensitivity is affecting the turret analog now. Could be separated to joystic sliders if there is need for.

AUDIO:
>Menu music volume slider added. (Will add mute menu music in main menu or small music options in menu). So you can play your music in background now.

>Added caption to volume Sliders as user reported not finding way to regulate music volume
(volume sliders not yet in VR mode)

SMOOTH DESTRUCTABLES
> A new smooth object collision system is replacing the old that caused the tank to stop too much. Some elements in Oi Terminal still not updated but overall you'll notice much less drag. some polishing needed.

Finish the collision system and its integration in the assets.
Fix the killcounter once for all
check for MP issues.

As you see some scheduled task jump back while many new came in. It was preferable to move all the killcounts and its related ui messages to tomorrow and pack the upgrade with all this stuff.

Patch 1 Live >>

Hi all

This is a cumulative patch of all fixes that have been silently going live along the day. Its now live and next time you start Steam client the game will be updated with the following stuff:

Fixed:
>AP round visuals
>Online spawning tanks in same faction
>Autoaiming turret behavior (removed)
>Input issue in few users not being able to move from main menu.
>Mouse sensitivity sliders
>Minor fixes.

Due to tomorrow , all the stuff related to impact, killcounts, damage etc)

-HE close range impact.
>Tank collliders recheck
>Offline killcount
>Online final stats & killcount

>Print to ui whe enemy is hit.
>Print to ui remarcable hits.

>Spawn overlaps. (will be made optional, double decker tanks cooll )

At this point the major issues of the game will be fixed. Some of the issues have been rescheduled as could be related to others.

Early next week the third person camera will be smoothen so it does not follow the tank movements so close. Other features requested by players will be added too.

Not sure if will be possible by the end of next week but if not, the following, once everything settles a bit, an online tournament with prizes of material from the game for best players such posters plus a magazine style publication with high quality glossy prints of the making of the main art with step by step, from the concept to the final work by Mimit. Shiped worlwide.

Some of the user (not the raging one "this is not the rip off I was expecting") found too difficult as compared to a similar classic arcade cabinet, could be a good idea to add a "classic" play mode, with even faster gameplay, lock turret and easier hits.

Input issue:
Very few users (2) have reported an input issue, that after analyzing the log lead to the conclussion that the oculus.dll was causing interference. Being so few it is very likely to be related to drivers version. Anyway, the code has been modified and already uploaded for these to avoid that issue. If issue remains or variations of these issue appear please report in the existing thread.

Oculus VR is back!

Hi>>

Due to some issues happening on some testing, the decision to un-support temporarily oculus VR was taken.

Pretty much in the last minute, the day the rip off the oculus SDK was scheduled to happen against an integration attemp of Steam VR, a fixed .dll of the oculus integration was delivered by developer team of Oculus.

After thorough testing, it is confirmed to work flawlessly.So, OculusVR is back to the game.

This will not be changed in the game specs of the store page until the release, as it may require additional review from Steam side that could affect release date.

This project is commited to support VR from start, support for Vive and others trough the SteamVR integration will be a reality soon after release. Multithreading and faster shaders in order to reduce VR hardware requirements are also planned.
