This update isn't very big, I was just showing a couple of friends the game when I discovered that the Autumn music was overlapping, so I fixed it.
Fixed music bugging out during seasons that aren't Summer or Winter.
Added 3 splash texts.
Enjoy and take care!
The Restart
Hello Yello! My name is Filip, and I am the developer of Too Much Water
I have seen many different versions of Too Much Water. Likewise, Too Much Water has seen many different versions of me. It really shows how much I've grown as both a person and a game developer. I have made many attempts to make Too Much Water feel how I want it to. It was on this current attempt that I wrongly convinced myself that this would be the one.
"I didn't want to lose the progress that I had already made. I felt like I was on a roll. I could not be stopped."
Fast forward to today, and I am constantly suffering from and- worse- fighting burnout, digging me deeper into that hole. Fitting new content in with code I wrote when I was fifteen is stressful and unpredictable. When something goes wrong, I feel helpless.
I want to make this game a better experience for everyone, but I need time to do that. One mistake I made while working on this project was I was constantly working against the clock. My life was full of stress to the point where I lost sleep over some of the most insignificant issues. I had to get one more line of code in before I could rest just a little bit easier.
Don't get me wrong- I loved programming. I still do! I could do it for days on end and never get tired. It was my go-to activity when I was stressed or bored.
As the scope of the game got larger and less clear, I found myself stepping away from working on the project for longer and longer periods of time just to give myself a break. A break from what I loved to do.
In a way, working on Too Much Water was my zen, but it was also my Hell.
Despite all this, I remain optimistic.
I am not giving up on Too Much Water. I am simply restarting the project with a clean canvas. A canvas that will be painted, polished, framed, and hung up for everyone to observe in the world's largest museum- the Internet.
If you'd like to be a part of this journey or even if you're remotely curious, I ask you to check out the game and join the Discord server. Let me know what you think of the project. I'll be taking all feedback, every single point, and improving the new game based on those criticisms.
Thank you for reading.

This update was created to honor the life and death of Adobe Flash, and features the voice of Stamper as he guides you through the Flash Theater. This huge side-quest in Too Much Water has been in the works for a year and a half and was actually supposed to be released last Pico Day. (That would have been impossible, given I finalized the last changes a WEEK ago...)
Inside the Flash Theater, you will find six arcade machines. Each of these features a unique challenge for the player to face, rewarding them with a relic. (I'm not going into spoiler territory... play the game if you'd like to know what the relics are, heh)
I've worked tirelessly to make this Too Much Water update a treat for players to enjoy.

Too Much Water - SUMMER UPDATE
TIME TO PUT ON SUNSCREEN! As if it wasn't hot enough already... Summer is here! And- the sun has never shined brighter.
SUMMER UPDATE! With the addition of some quality-of-life features, there are also a couple new fun things to find, discover, craft, and encounter! I'm not here to spoil anything, though... Look around for yourself!
I decided to release this Summer update as I had promised earlier this year. I felt like it would be unfair to make you wait longer for the patch that fixes the game's unplayable state. (In other words, it's playable now.)
One thing that has been suggested many times by the community is the implementation of a 16:9 aspect ratio. I can proudly state that this update has replaced the old 4:3 aspect ratio with a new widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio. NO MORE BLACK BARS!!
QUICK LIST OF CHANGES: - Revamped UI - New Random Dialogue Encounter - Island Encounters - Fixed Lag Issues on Windows 10 - MORE

Too Much Water - MacOSX Announcement
For over three years, Too Much Water has only been available to play on systems running Windows. Today I am releasing a build of the game that should run on any up-to-date Mac computer! I'm hoping that I can extend my player-base by giving Apple enthusiasts the opportunity to play Too Much Water on their favourite devices! There are some bugs, but the game is still in a surprisingly playable state.
A couple things I would like to mention: The second ending currently does not work properly on Mac builds. The reason for this is unknown, but I will continue to research this for the future. The Mac version of Too Much Water will be updated a lot less frequently due to how much of a hassle it is to actually get the old stuff working with the new stuff, and vise-versa with every new build. Think of this as Mac users getting a more refined treatment, while people on Windows platforms are getting the newer and buggier features first. It's not a BAD thing, but it can be looked at that way.
I'm considering looking towards a Linux build of Too Much Water. While this is possible in theory, I'd probably wait on adding support until the game is in an outstandingly playable state with all endings working, or if Linux is highly requested by the community.

New Years Update!
2020 has finally come to an end! But it wasn't all bad- Too Much Water was released! And what a great excuse to stay indoors during a pandemic, huh!
In the above video I not only review how the year has effected the progress of the game in an organized and coherent manner, but I also announce who the Too Much Water Celebrity of the Year is! Other subjects I talk about include the three most impactful things that have happened to Too Much Water, a comparison between the original build and the newest build, and I briefly discuss some plans for 2021.
The New Years update is going to be released as soon as possible, I'm currently experiencing technical difficulties with the Depot Uploads. I promise I'll get it up within a day!
