Post-release fixes and tweaks
We’ve made a few tweaks and fixes since the last update based on the community’s feedback:
New ability sounds for Snow White, Robin Hood and Dr. Jekyll: we’ve been through and improved pretty much every ability sound in the game
Reduced memory usage in the marsh to avoid a crash happening on some Macs
Fixed a bug with the Madness perpertual motion rune

Update 18th January (2 updates)
We've made a quick update to fix the bug in the tutorial where text was obscuring the game.
Bug fix: the game now leaves the game paused in certain tutorial boxes even if you pause and unpause manually, so that you can progress the tutorial - this should fix the issue reported with the switching characters tutorial.
Turns out that problem was more complex than we thought - especially in German! So there's a second fix live now.
Fixed problem with German character swap tutorial box not disappearing
Volume curve for effects and music is now more "natural" (half on the slider sounds more like half the volume)
Narration is now changed by the sound effect volume and not the music volume

Hello and Happy new year to everyone!
The latest Torn Tales Beta update is going live on Steam about now. Aside from some fixes to minor bugs, the main changes are:
Lots of visual improvements rolled out to the rest of the forest
Jekyll now appears in the level by the camp during the tutorial
Changed how shadows look on various settings to (hopefully) better balance performance and visual quality
Engraved another set of names onto gravestones in the forest

A modest update this time with our latest fixes:
Fix for push back (e.g. from Robin's auto attack) sometimes forcing things off walkable areas of map - e.g. the Romeo skeleton in the Marsh Bookbinder fight
Fix for Bookbinder texturing (he was appearing all white)
Some small visual improvements to the forest, mostly at the start of the tutorial and improvements to the lighting on the floor
Minor typo fixes
More headstones engraved in the forest

Hello everyone,
Following some fantastic feedback from the community, we have decided to put back release of Torn Tales on Steam to January 2017. There are still improvements to make and features to test. We really don’t want to rush those or release the game in the notoriously difficult Holiday period.
We’ll continue to release updates to the game through that period for our Beta testers and we want to take this opportunity to thank you for the invaluable feedback so far. Keep it coming as we read everything.
A special thanks to our YouTube and Twitch streamers. They’ve been great supporters of the game and have also been instrumental in improving it.

We have a new update for you with a bunch of added stuff so have a look below.
Balancing
Added small power buff to the Swamp creature.
Buffed spiders power slightly.
Buffed Chemical drip range.
Nerfed Huntsman health a bit. Added some sound effects.
Nerfed Juggernaut rune effects by 60%.
Nerfed the intimidate loot effect.
Improvements
Changed xp orb sfx volume proportional to xp size.
Reduced footsteps volume.
Added missing cooldown values to loot window descriptions.
Changed mighty blow achievement to not include status effect damage.
Put cutscene dialogue on the music channel.
Implemented Esc key to go back in the main menu pages.
Added option to change characters using portraits or hotkeys while they are dead and the book is open.
Increased the probability of rare loot. Because its more fun.
Added camera rotation to the middle mouse button.
Made the description text about skill unlocking and runes bolder and clearer and made distinction between locked and unlocked runes greater.
Added a return to last save point button in the options menu.
Made some minor spelling/punctuation changes.

Ice cave Golem trigger now stops characters from running off into the void.
Added a maybe fix for the character switching tutorial bug in a german build.
Fix for bone piles summoning outside of the arena, and fixed bone pile skeleton warriors and saplings not being properly spawned in the arena. (invisible dead chilled skeleton thing bug).
Fix for branch end chests achievement not triggering.
