In Total War Battles: KINGDOM, shape your lands to transform the wilderness into a powerful and productive Kingdom. Manage your Kingdom’s economy, build castles and towns, grow your population and expand your territory.

Raise powerful armies and go head to head with other players or AI enemies in large scale real-time battles. With one persistent world, players will be able to continue their game across multiple devices, at home, work or out and about.

The update brings various bug fixes, balancing changes and usability improvements.

  • Fixed an issue where workers don't update to the castle location when collected.
  • Fixed an issue where minus XP is shown after a player completed a friendly duel.
  • Fixed an issue where it is possible to have blank neighbour bonus panel when the advisor is up.
  • Fixed an issue where you get 0 experience on the Victory/Defeat screen.
  • Fixed an issue where the Church that turns to ruin and is not cleared, locks the Power associated with the ruined Church building.
  • Fixed an issue where the construction and upgrade times don't update with any season changes.
  • Fixed an issue where a building getting raided would not reduce the raiding timer if the wall was removed.
  • Fixed an issue where the Lord name entry field would lock up if player entered a name that was already taken.
  • Fixed an issue where duel flags would appear behind portraits in pvp battles.
  • Fixed an issue where it is possible to spawn deposits under ice.
  • Fixed an issue where flooded dig sites don’t display warning icons.
  • Fixed an issue where Freezing a tomb whilst a curse is unleashed will reset the tomb exploration action.
  • Fixed an issue where demolishing a farm in winter but cancelling in another season allowed the wheat to decay.
  • Fixed an issue where players could be kicked from the game if they built a wall on a flooded building.

Total War Battles: KINDGOM Beta Version 0.4 NOW LIVE!

Version 0.4 has arrived and has brought Total War Battles: KINGDOM to iPhones (iPhone 5 and higher) and Android phones!

The patch includes various improvements to usability, UI and balancing, a brand new battle map as well as some bugfixes. Changes apply to the game on all platforms, however please note that at the moment the iOS and Google Play Store versions are only available in the following countries: Canada, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark and the Netherlands.

  • Total War Battles: KINGDOM is now available on iPhones (iPhone 5 or higher)
  • Total War Battles: KINGDOM is now available on the latest Android phones (minimum 1 GB of RAM, 2 GB of RAM recommended)
  • New Battle map: The Beach
  • New pickup animations for resources
  • More resources awarded for Battle victories
  • The post Battle panel has been improved
  • When unlocked, gameplay elements such as Tracking, Crafting, and Pledging are now explained by your advisor
  • Early game battle mission difficulty has been balanced
  • Early game quests have been adjusted
  • The tutorial has been restructured for a smoother progression
  • The Merchant Guild offers and UI have been reworked
  • Upgrading a production building to tier 2 now requires at least 1 active tier 2 Castle
  • The Ballista and Trebuchet are now noticeably stronger
  • Various infantry units have been slightly rebalanced
  • Units now regroup faster during battle
  • The Quarry prospecting clear timer has been reduced from 8h to 1h
  • The Quarry prospecting now takes existing stone deposits into consideration
  • We added the option to receive push notification, so you won’t miss an important update

  • Fixed an issue where the sound volume control slider could not be selected on IOS and Android
  • Fixed an issue where the progress bar would overlap the portrait screen
  • Fixed an issue where changing the season would cause the edge of the realm to flicker
  • Fixed an issue where water visualisation would break whilst filling up a pool
  • Fixed a crash whilst in the realm on IOS
  • Fixed an issue where the game resolution did not match the device resolution on IOS
  • Fixed an issue on the Castle map where the water texture was not rendered correctly

    <*>All gameplay progress has been reset with patch 0.3, due to the extensive changes this version introduces. Accounts themselves were not deleted, so you can continue to log in with your known credentials.     <*>Building caps have been removed from the majority of buildings. You can now build as many Farms/Woodcutters/Quarries as you like!
    <*>The Military, Economic and Political Advisors have been merged into just one Advisor, who you can hire for 1, 7, or 30 days.
    <*>Water is now more reactive, making it easier to manage. If you close off a river from a water source, it will turn into wetlands immediately (except for deep water). Likewise, if you open a dam blocking off water from a river bed, the water will now disperse much quicker.
    <*>The way in which Water influences Wheat Fields and Tree growth has changed. Terrain within 2 hexes of Water is considered 'Fertile' and Terrain which has previously been flooded is called 'Wetlands'. Wheat Fields will only grow and Trees will only propagate on Fertile Terrain and Wetlands.
    <*>Evaporation time is much longer and deep water is less affected. This allows you to save pools of water in the summer.
    <*>Quarries must now 'Prospect' for deposits, unearth them using the Digsite then finally mine them. There are now four different kinds of deposit: Stone, Coal, Silver and Gold. The further down you delve into the earth, the higher the chance of finding a rare deposit. The look of the Quarry has also been reworked.

    <*>The chance of housing a Craftsman has been reduced, making them more precious and the player must now fill a Blacksmith/Tavern/Market with Craftsmen to gain the Craftsman Bonus.
    <*>The cost of units has been balanced and Javelin Throwers are no longer free from the start.
    <*>'Mass Collection' is now a standard action (it was previously only usable with the Economic Advisor). Select and hold a collector building (e.g. Farm) to collect all the resource pick-ups around it (it can also be used on the Castle).
    <*>Enemy reinforcements are now indicated on the Missions panel.
    <*>The building distance limit between Castles has been reduced to 13 hexes (previously 15) and the furthest a town building can be constructed from a Castle is 5 hexes (previously 6).

    Total War Battles: KINGDOM Beta Version 0.3 Announcement

    Lords, Ladies, Saint Protectors!

    Total War Battles: KINGDOM is changing!

    We will very shortly be rolling out an update that will bring Total War Battles: KINGDOM to Beta version 0.3. Since the Open Beta we’ve already seen the game grow and develop, but one thing that has remained constant is the fantastic feedback and suggestions we’ve received from you, the players.

    This version update brings with it significant gameplay changes, many of which are in direct response to player feedback. Due to the nature of these changes, it will be necessary to reset account progress. Although this is something we’ve said wouldn’t happen again, we believe it’s worth it, in order to make the game as enjoyable as possible.

    We want Total War Battles: KINGDOM to be the very best it can be. In order to achieve this we looked at lots of ideas from devs and players alike and the list we came up with meant we’d have to change the gameplay to an extent that simply could not be implemented without resetting player’s realms. This will be the last account reset.

    The main changes this update brings are:

    - The realm has been changed making it easier to navigate and making space management more fun and challenging.
    - Timers have been reduced dramatically to allow for longer play sessions.
    - The water management system has been overhauled to be more reactive, making it much easier to recover from flooding.
    - All buildings now receive neighbour bonuses from other buildings, meaning you’ll want to optimise your towns differently to foster different playstyles.
    - Quarry gameplay has been redesigned to make finding deposits more of a challenge, with much greater rewards when you do find them.
    - And much, much more… an exhaustive changelist will be published once the new version is deployed.


    We apologise for the inconvenience. We will return all Gold purchased to your account, and as a thank you for your continued support we’ll add an extra 20%. The Gold will be credited to your account once the new version is live. We’ll also publish a code for 250 Gold that can be redeemed by all players, regardless of whether you made an in-game purchase or not.

    We've just released an update for Total War Battles: KINGDOM, bringing the open beta to version 0.2!

    Patch Notes - Beta Version 0.2 - 16/06/2015


    • Optimised the game for increased performance.
    • Increased server connectivity and stability.
    • The player’s Duelling rank will not go down after losing a Duel until after they reach rank 17 (Rank 17 bronze is the lowest they can drop from that point on).
    • Axe men have been balanced to make them more effective against heavily armoured units.
    • The cost for a unit’s first skill has been lowered to 50 XP.
    • The recharge time for the Trebuchet and Ballista has been reduced.
    • Orders and Artillery can now be activated using keyboard shortcuts (numbers 1 – 6).
    • The Farm and Woodcutter have a ‘Cancel All’ button (making it easier to cancel ‘Harvest All’ and ‘Fell All’ actions).
    • Removed the chance of failure from Master Crafting and increased the chance of crafting the best quality/quantity items. Slightly lowered the standard crafting values.
    • Can now track from Sheep/Cattle Farms in Winter.
    • Notification displayed when an Invader/Raider appears in your Realm.
    • Notification displayed when an Invader/Raider loots your resources.
    • The benefits of upgrading a building are now displayed, as are the requirements.
    • The positive and negative effects of each season are now shown as the start of each season (can also be viewed by the selecting the season wheel).
    • The Political Advisor can now be hired from the Castle (or by selecting the Advisor Slots) - He lowers the cost or Watchtower/Invader/Raider tributes.
    • Gold reward for placing in the top 10 for Pledging and/or Duelling at the end of the Kingdom Archive Entry.
    • Rank 3 Church is upgraded to a Cathedral if the player is in the top 5 position for Pledging at the end of the Kingdom Archive Entry.
    • Trees now propagate from the Woodcutter's Hut.
    • Fishing time has been reduced to 2 hours.
    • Increased the Gold exchange rate at the Market.
    • The player can now 'Log Out' to the Title Screen.
    • More diversity in Invader/Raider armies.
    • Added an icon above beasts that have been tracked, to make them easier to see.
    • Unit skills now shown on the Army Setup panel.
    • Build Wall/Destroy Wall actions have been combined into one button (Walls).
    • Players are now able to resend the email verification when registering for a Total War Account.
    • We will celebrate the first entry into the Kingdom Archive soon (honouring the most successful PvE and PvP players per Region).
    • Fixed an issue which caused Realm progress to be reset.
    • A lot of smaller fixes and improvements.
