We know youāre all excited for the next TABS update - so are we - but since we canāt do one just yet weāre keeping with tradition and releasing something new this April Fools day.

Two knights, a strong bond, and a long journey. Take up the race for the rose, ride from village to village and take shelter before nightfall by any means necessary!
If your bond is strong and your horse drifts well, you can be the recipient of the fabled rose. Luckily you brought guns!
Hello everyone! Since weāre getting a lot of comments asking about future updates and the plan for TABS in general, we thought we would make this post explaining whatās going on.
Bug fixing Weāre currently working on fixing the most frequent bugs and crashes, we see your posts and comments and have added all of them to the list for fixing. Hopefully, a big bug patch will come with the next update.
We're still waiting for mod.io to get back to us about the issues with custom content that popped up this weekend. We hope that they can solve it as soon as possible.
Future updates

#2 The Neon Update We have some neon-inspired weapons coming to the Unit Creator! We are also really hoping to add glowing materials š¤ This will not be a neon faction update but you will be able to create your own neon units.
The Neon update will hopefully be released sometime later this year, but beyond these updates, we currently donāt have any other update plans for the game at this time.
This is due to several reasons:
First off, we have worked on TABS for 5+ years at this point (half a decade if weāre being fancy). As much as we adore the game, we want to make something new. If you follow us on social media like Twitter or TikTok you might have seen the prototypes weāre developing to possibly be our next project. One of them is HASTE, you can sign up for the free alpha at runfastgame.com.

Secondly, due to TABS having been developed for over five years, itās at a point where it is super hard to work in. It can take the designers a day of crashes to even load into the project, and once they make changes itās super common for other things to break and create more bugs.
This made us reevaluate most of our future updates like the Hero Unit and additional features to the UC. It just isnāt possible to work on new features for the game.
Recently TABS reached over 1,5 Million units, campaigns, and factions in the workshop! WOW!
One of the reasons we included the Unit Creator in the game is so that you and other players can keep innovating and creating awesome campaigns and units. Because of your endless creativity, you and other players will never run out of new units to try or campaigns to beat.
And with the next updates to the game, we know that youāll make even cooler stuff!
We are very thankful for the dedication of this community and everyone creating and sharing their campaigns, units, and battles and hope to see and play even more going forward.
Patch 1.0.7: Fixed Turkish language bug, unit voices and more!
Hello everyone! This will be our last patch for the year addressing some of the more pressing issues, we're of course still looking into the other bugs you have reported! :)

Patch Notes:
Fixed the issue where booting up the game while the OS language is set to Turkish causes the game to crash
Fixed an issue where some unit voice lines were not working correctly
Fixed issues where players were stuck in the loading screen when launching the game
Fixed an issue where adding more factions was not available during campaigns
Potentially fixed an issue where battles with limited factions carry the limits over to the next battles

Fixed an issue with Blind Mode where only one unit is visible or when multiple units behave incorrectly when either player changes the rule to blind mode
Fixed an issue where a player gets disconnected from quick match games when accepting battle configuration changes
Fixed an issue where the Wild West campaign does not load correctly
Fixed issue where the game wouldn't launch properly for certain languages
We are looking into the other bugs that have been reported and hope to have fixes for most of them soon :)
Patch 1.0.4: New animated trailer, bug fixes and information!
Hello everyone! We're happy to be back :)
This patch and information update was meant to be released earlier than this but we had to wait for the Xbox release of the game to be approved before doing further patches to the Steam version.
This is mainly a bug patch, but fear not - we have some more fun stuff in store moving forward! However, as stated before it will be a lot longer between updates now that the game is out of Early Access so it may be a while before we do any more content updates to the game.
We have updated the roadmap - and will also be doing some more announcements going forward about the future of the game and what to expect.

Patch 1.0.1b: Small hotfix for the voice issues discovered yesterday
We have a small fix incoming for the voice issues that came with the last patch. If you changed the voices of your created units yesterday you may have to change them once more - but if you didn't they should have the correct voices again.
We are still hoping to fix the save bug in the next patch - we're almost there and we're also looking into the additional bugs with achievements.

It's been two weeks since the release and we're overwhelmed with the responses and all the cool custom content that has been made!

Fixed achievements triggering incorrectly.
Made all the units spawnable for the present elf.
Fixed the range issue for the Infernal whip in possession.
Added the Fantasy special abilities that were missing.
Fixed World War Belt 00 to be in the correct position.
Fixed the visuals of the Fire Breath Ability.
Fixed some other visual issues with fire effects.
Fixed the issue where the Tempest Lichās storm would not be able to damage large units.

A lot of you have been wondering about the future. We still have some stuff we hope to add that you can read about here but our current focus is on bug fixing and improving the game as it is now. We have been working on TABS for about 4,5 years and although we love it we will most likely take a break now that the game has hit 1.0 - after some fixes of course.
