Thank you for playing (and for your extremely warm reception of) Stages 2 and 3.
We would also like to thank all the players who reported bugs.
We've fixed some of the bugs reported by multiple users, made some adjustments to the game, and released update 0.4.2.3, so please download this latest update.

Today, we’ve released a large update, adding Stages 2 and 3.
Having defeated the boss of Stage 1, Sakuya heads off to meet an important figure in order to unravel the mystery behind this mysterious world.
But along the way appears a certain witch...
Who created this strange world in which Sakuya finds herself after overcoming the dangers of her last battle?
This update includes the following features, as requested by a large number of players:

・Button assignment for Confirm/Cancel and Attack/Jump
・Button assignment for skill toggling

At the moment we are busy brushing up Stages 2, 3 and 4. And while we do this, we thought we would share part of the story with you all.
After defeating Stage 1's boss, Sakuya arrives at a place that seems rather familiar.
However, the mansion she once knew has undergone a transformation, changing every corner of the area that she once knew so well. Various dangers now block the path that lies ahead of her.
After surviving incredible danger by using her ability to manipulate time, she heads to a certain person's home to understand the mansion's current situation.
What secrets will Sakuya face in this transformed mansion?
Stages 2 and 3 are scheduled to be released in the next update, which is planned to go live in mid-September, then Stage 4 will come in the following update, which will enliven the mystery further.

Touhou Luna Nights is a 2D metroidvania style game, developed by Team Ladybug, known for their titles KonoSuba: God's Blessing on this Wonderful World! Revival of Beldia (youtube) and Shin Megami Tensei: Synchronicity Prologue (youtube). Absolutely enchanted by the free-flowing, beautiful 2D worlds of the Touhou Project series, Team Ladybug took on the task of developing this title.
Team Ladybug began with Pharaoh Rebirth, continuing with other enjoyable games including Resurrection of Beldia and Shin Megami Tensei: Synchronicity Prologue. Since then, the world has been waiting in anticipation for their next project.
This time, they have created a fan game based off the world-renowned Touhou Project.
From the background to the character's movements and various skills, one can feel the creator's passion for games and love of the Touhou project.
While it is a 2D search game similar to Castlevania, players can easily progress through the game without the insistence of repetitive elements or collecting items. This has resulted in a spectacular game born from the game production skills cultivated by Team Ladybug.
On element we really want to highlight is the beauty of the anime-style sprites.
You can see the attention to detail the creator put into not only the leading character's movements,
but also, the effects and enemy characters.
Touhou Luna Nights is not only for Touhou fans but is also a game that anyone who enjoys 2D action games can dive right into.
