I am very excited to announce the release of a new major update for Tourney: v1.3!
This update includes a brand new scenario called "The story of Plip". It begins with a small RPG preamble in which you control squire Plip as he prepares for his first tournament. Then, depending on your actions in this section, you will then be able to play through one of 2 alternative narrative scenarios - which one you get is determined by your actions in the RPG!
There are a bunch of extra goodies in this release to compliment RPG story section and scenarios, so here is a complete run down:
Story of Plip micro-RPG and 2 scenario endings
Additional music tracks for the RPG section
A new grand statue decoration building
3 new achievements
This release is the first major content release for this year, but work on the next update will get underway shortly. If you want to see the current roadmap you can see in this public Trello board: https://trello.com/b/awbRyFXI/tourney-milestones
That's it for now! Happy jousting :)

Winter greetings to thou and thine!
The winter season is upon us, and I have been carrying on with minor fixes whilst sipping some festive Amaretto. Preparations for a larger update is underway too, so I'm looking forward to sharing that.
Added - Pressing escape closes the last opened menu
Added - In the plip RPG pressing escape brings up an exit menu
Fixed - Closing the events menu using the top buttons would not unpause the game
Fixed - Some typos (including one of the main houses on the start new campaign screen!)
Some "under the hood" fixes which improve overall stability and logging
Thank you all for your feedback, reviews, criticism and suggestions. The new Year is approaching, so I'd like to wish everyone happiness and success in the coming year.

Version 1.1.23
Tourney has been live for a week! The reaction so far has been great.
I’ve been busy in the background, which you might have noticed if you saw the game updating itself quite a lot! It’s now on version 1.1.23
Part of the work has been on the next update which I’m calling the “Creative Bundle” If you are interested in what will be in it - and what’s on the roadmap for Tourney, I have made a public board on Trello here where you can see that!
Otherwise - mostly those little updates have contained fixes for errors that people have been getting in the game. It took me aback that despite all of the alpha and beta testing that was done - there were still a fair few bugs in there! However the good news is that there are now almost no errors coming in & the game is much more stable. You’ll be able to see that the frequency of minor updates will be much lower.
Here’s a bit of a roundup of some of the fixes that have gone in since the last update!
Soft lock where knights in certain circumstances in a joust would stand up on their horse like some kind of circus show off - and trot off into the wide blue yonder
Similar issue to the above - a knight could charge forever into the wide blue yonder
Stands were not correctly sold, meaning visitors would still try to get to them
Horses were not despawning properly when knights died causing errors in levels where there were excessive deaths
Much more handling for something not being there, for example the surgeon tent, events or stables, often caused by a knight having died in a save game
When a knight dies the system that invites new knights had a chance of error
So now - things are much more calm and tranquil. Just like this lake!
