Tower of Guns Followup: MOTHERGUNSHIP Free Demo Available!

The followup project to Tower of Guns how has a demo you can try!
While MOTHERGUNSHIP won't be out for a little while yet, you can grab the "MOTHERGUNSHIP: Gun Crafting Range" demo right now and try your hand at building some absurd weaponry!
This free to play demo gives you a taste of the customization and modularity of the full gun crafting system from MOTHERGUNSHIP, and provides a testing arena and small story to experience. Set inside one of the resistances ships, you will be able to craft and test out your creations on a range filled with enemies from the game. Collect parts from taking down enemies to continue the building process and create the most nonsensical monstrosity possible!
During the week of the gun demo launch we'll be sharing player creations on Facebook and Twitter, and challenge the community to show us what you're truly capable of. We'll randomly select a few of these creations and award them some special goodies for the final launch of MOTHERGUNSHIP later this year. So make sure that you share your creations on Facebook and Twitter using the #Mothergunship!

ToG 1.3 Released!
Hey folks! I know it's been a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnng time, and for the most part I've moved on to new projects, but I did want to post another update of ToG for all you guys! Unfortunately, this update is Windows Only.
This update includes:
A lot of small bugfixes (collision fixes, some art fixes, etc)
Fixed an issue with MamaSpinbot going...bonkers..forever..
Fixed an issue with the player getting trapped in the Tog-o-Drome forever and being forced to live out their lives in a digital prison of sadness. Let us raise a glass in honor of those lost souls still trapped there now, who are beyond the help of this patch.
Tuned drop rates some of old guns, but the change was done months ago and I forgot to notate exactly what in my notes because I'm pro.
Added some new game modes for you all!
Added a few new guns (mostly accessible from game modes, but also some of them are in the normal drop lists as well)

Linux build updated and more news!
Hey folks, I just updated the linux build once more to address a sound issue that was happening for some folks.
Also, for those of you who saw my last announcement about ToG coming to consoles--there's one more fun addition to that: ToG will ALSO be available on disc, in retail. I'm not sure if I can say where or when yet, but all you diehard ToG fans could own a physical copy of the game someday soon! :-)

Linux/Mac builds: Minor update
Hi Folks!
I worked a bit more with the kind folks who assisted me on the Mac and Linux builds to get a few of the more common issues addressed. This includes migrating the save data on the Linux version.
While everything SHOULD work fine for all you--if you're worried look in the ToG directory for a file called gamestate.bin and duplicate that file to somewhere safe before you launch the game again--that way you can restore your savefile if anything weird happens.
This update fixes:
Mac fullscreen--fixed some issues where this was not behaving optimally
Save data migration out of the app: Users' savegames are migrated to their user directory.
Steam cloud support: This should now work for both Mac and Linux, but only after the first time you 'exit' the game after this update
Removed those crazy button keybindings that would crash the game for random reasons. Who thought those were a good idea??
Fixed library names on Linux
Integrated a few of the later bugfixes that were in the PC build, but didn't make the original content lock for the Mac/Linux build
Thanks again folks! Also, if you haven't heard, the game is coming this year to XB1, PS3, and PS4! That'll be pretty exciting! So, if your friends are console gamers who want to play ToG, soon they'll get their chance!
Tower of Guns - Now on Linux/Mac and the newest Humble Bundle!
Hello ToG Fans!
Tower of Guns is now available on the Fashionable Mac and Glorious Linux platforms--just in time for Halloween, too! Now, we all know Tower of Guns has very little to do with Halloween, and so I decided there was no better way to celebrate that lack of a relationship than by including Tower of Guns in the newest Humble Indie Bundle!
Anyway, if you head on over to the humble bundle site (which I won't link here, since I don't want to post links to competing shops within Steam's community) you can pick up the game along with Jazzpunk, OlliOlli, Risk of Rain, Amnesia:Machine for Pigs, Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet, and ShadowGate all for incredibly cheap!
Consider buying it for a friend, or enemy, or stranger. Also, the rad game Teleglitch is available for FREE for just visiting the page, as I understand it.
Now, most of you reading this probably already own Tower of Guns--the Mac and Linux ports should be deployed within Steam to you guys already, so enjoy!

Fixed issue wtih using items and then picking up another item causing permanent effects from the first item.

Tog 1.21 AKA "Wingnut" Released!

I just pushed out another update to ToG--this one has a lot of bugfixes...some major, some minor. Here's the list of fixes:
<*>Bug Fix: added a unduck check, tilt check, jump prohibit check, physics check, and a speed failsafe to cinematics to combat a major speed wiping bug on an endless mode loop.
<*>Art fix: added an glowy oblivion plane to L11 in case the player looks backwards in the final tunnel
<*>Optimization: Lowered cap on number of SFX pickups sounds that can be played at once
<*>Bug Fix: fixed that dang cartesian lattice bug, which actually ended up being a much more severe bug that I’m surprised hasnt reared its head in uglier places…OR MAYBE IT HAS ORLY
<*> Art, Pop, and Collision Fixes in l2r2b19, l6r4b, l6r2b2, l3r3b3b5
<*>Bug Fix: Fixed Stories: For some people (those who bought the game in the last month) random dialog/plots didn't work! For everyone else, you probably never noticed this bug.
<*>Bug Fix: Adjusted near clip plane, which fixes many near collision issues, but potentially causes zfighting with long-distance views. Not sure if I prefer this way over the other way.
<*>Bug Fix: Fixed delay on end animatic chain flythrough
<*>Bug Fix: Adjusted pipeorgan lootspawnoffset to accomodate clobbered loot
<*>Bug Fix: Fixed door gate mechanism in togodrome
<*>Console Cheat: Added cheat "Tog_ImLame stupidspeedbug". Those of you who have seen that endless-mode speed=0 loop bug, it *should* be fixed for you now. But just in case, I added this code to increment player speed by 2 with each use, so that way you won't lose a good run to this bug if, for some reason, it still pops up for you. This was a damn tricky bug, and I'm not confident my solutions was infallible.
Most of those are pretty rare bugs, but some of them could be rather unpleasant.

Tower of Guns 1.19b Update--just a few fixes!
Hi Folks,
I just pushed out another update to ToG. It's not a large update..even though it will come across as a 300mb download. I wish I could figure out why the heck Steam likes to update so many files with each update...I'm aware it's not kind to those of you with bandwidth limits, so my apologies to you folks.
Anyway, this update is for a few hotfixes and relatively minor tweaks such as:
Added a console command to toggle the hud for screenshots (togglehud)
added a couple of interesting new surprises to diceroll mode
fixed a major, though very hard to reproduce, issue with pausing and tilting at the same time
alleviated the vanishing boss items issue a bit more..it STILL might not be solved completely, but it should be getting pretty rare now.
fixed a few other minor gaps, collision bugs and typos people pointed out
added a console only mode called "Hot Foot Mode"--it's not a fully mature mode, but like "Backwards Mode", is a fun way to waste an hour or two. In short, the mode is like this: you have unlimited jumps. But
every* time you land you take damage. Goodluck. It's mostly for those youtubers who like to play ToG in silly ways. The console command for Hot Foot Mode is "TOG_imlame hotfoot".
Anyway, thanks for all the support everyone! You all make making updates fun.
