Patch 3.3.0 Mafia Buffs and Ranked Season Ends

Hey Townies,

Today we are releasing Town of Salem 3.3.0 with a squirming, heaping helping of scary new features, improvements, and bug fixes. To help you celebrate All Hallows’ Eve, we’ve added some new Halloween-themed cosmetics to the shop and Cauldron. Even better, we’ve loaded up your goodie bag by making both the Ambusher and Hypnotist roles available to play in Classic games. Oh, and here’s a fistful of Mafia buffs, including changes to Disguiser, Forger, and Framer. But let’s not stop there…we’ve also brought back Player Statistics and Leaderboards. On top of that, the Witch whispered in our ear that Ranked Season IV is ending, and Ranked Season V is being lined up for the near future. The full list of treats for this release can be found below.

NEW FEATURES
• Login - Halloween-themed login background art and music for the holiday.
• Home - Added the Player Statistics and Leaderboards browser.

IMPROVEMENTS
• Role Change - The Disguiser has been updated to not only allow changing their own investigative results, but to also allow them to change the investigative results of their Mafia allies. The game no longer shows the disguised role on the player’s death, but now instead changes Lookout results to show the Mafia visit as being a visit from another player being disguised as. Example: the Disguiser disguises player A as player B, player A visits player C, the Lookout watches player C, the Lookout sees player B (not Player A) visiting player C. This means Lookout results are no longer 100% trustworthy. The Disguiser being able to visit Mafia members also means that the Spy seeing Mafia visits doesn’t automatically confirm someone as non-Mafia anymore since the Spy will see the Disguiser visiting their Mafia teammate.
• Role Change - Forger - The ability to have false information displayed in the graveyard has been removed from the Disguiser, but the Forger has now gained that ability! Now when you forge a player you are able to select the role you would like that player to show up as in the graveyard. This should help players more easily make believable wills. We believe that misinformation is more powerful than removing information, so this ability has had its available number of uses to two.
• Role Change - Framer - Frames will now last until an investigative role targets the framed player, not just the night the player is framed.
• Game - The Ambusher and Hypnotist roles have escaped the Coven Expansion and are now available for play in ANY mode whose role list supports them, including Ranked.
• Transitions - New "Please wait..." overlays at various transition points in the game to prevent user interaction while the transitions are occurring, such as leaving a party or lobby, quitting a game, logging out, etc.
• Cosmetics - We’ve added some new Halloween-themed pets and a house.
• Taunts - We’ve added a new bats-themed taunt. Additional, the Celebrate! taunt fireworks animation has been improved to be more visible in game.
• Login - The feedback provided to player’s when they attempt to set a password that doesn’t meet the minimum requirements has been improved and clarified.
• Home - For our mobile platforms, we’ve added labels to the Navigation icons for clarity.
• Lobby - The Custom Lobby role summary for Lookout has been updated to include a reference about the new limit of spotting 3 people.
• Lobby - The Custom Lobby role summary for Jester has been updated to indicate abstaining voters are also susceptible to being haunted.
• Game - The role card in game will no longer hide the role description text after death. Instead, the role card will be tinted red and display a Tombstone image behind the text to indicate death. This is especially helpful for roles that still have abilities after death, such as the Medium.
• Game - The Trapper’s Trap Set icon will now display on the player where the trap has been set, instead of on the Trapper themselves.
• Game - For our non-mobile platforms, the game will now zoom in on executions that occurs after a guilty verdict has been rendered.
• Game - Added dazzle animation over center stage when moving to Last Words phase to reduce jarring transition of gallows disappearing, etc.
• Game - Due to the Disguiser buff, two of the Disguiser’s achievements have been updated. Master of Deceit is now awarded when you disguise the same person three times in a single game. Slippery Chameleon is now awarded the first time you deceive the Town with a disguise as is considered a shadow achievement, so you won’t know you’ve earned it until the end of the game. If you previously earned these awards in their old incarnations, you will retain them.
• Game - Pestilence role name in various places has been given a greenish outline color to make the black lettering stand out better from the background.

BUG FIXES
• Burger Menu - For our mobile platforms, we’ve added scrollbars to various submenu screens which previously displayed content that fell outside of the screen space and could not be scrolled to.
• Update Password - Fixed an issue where the help tooltip on the Update Password popup appeared underneath the popup.
• Home - For our mobile platforms, fixed a crash related to Unity Ads.
• Game Mode - The Play Solo button can no longer be quickly and repeatedly clicked, resulting in a server disconnect.
• Role Reveal - Game tip regarding Serial Killer visiting Escort now mentions the Serial Killer’s new Cautious ability.
• Game - The Serial Killer’s Cautious button will no longer activate for interaction at night if the Serial Killer is dead.
• Game - The player on trial will now properly show their initial execution idle animation when Last Words phase starts, instead of waiting until the execution begins.
• Game - When a player leaves the game during the voting phase, any votes that were made on them can now be undone by simply voting for another player.
• Game - The Van Helsing (Vampire Hunter skin) hanging animation will now properly appear.
• Game - The gallows image will now properly appear on the Little Big World and Under the Sea maps during hanging animations.
• Game - Janitors can now read a Bloody Will (bloody from a Serial Killer having killed them) for a player they cleaned.
• Game - When transporting a revealed Mayor, the second target buttons are no longer improperly labeled "Reveal”.
• Game - The Cancel Seance button for Medium will no longer improperly change back to Seance when night transition starts.
• Game - The Robot Santa on Trial skin scaling has been fixed.
• Game - Fixed Entoan pixel death animation repeating.
• Game - Fixed positioning of Uriel, Crimson Reaper, and Alabaster Reaper skins on trial position.
• Game - Fixed an issue on Lycanthrope skin Pixel Death animation.
• Game - Player name in header messages will now always properly appear in White font.
• Game - For our mobile platforms, the click sound that played when the targeting tabs were programmatically switched (such as when switching from Day to Night phase) has been silenced.
• Game - For our non-mobile platforms, pressing the Tab, Page Up, or Page Down keys in Last Will, Death Note, Notes (or pasting in text with tabs) no longer produces weird spacing issues.
• Game - For our non-mobile platforms, pasting tabs into a chat field no produces wide stretches of white space in the chat message.
• Game - For our non-mobile platforms, fixed the size of the Hypnotist Menu.

Patch 3.2.5 Neutral Killing Buffs!

Hey Townies,

Today we are releasing Town of Salem 3.2.5 which includes a variety of role buffs and nerfs. This release also includes a long-awaited feature for our mobile version…inline targeting. Inline targeting will speed up targeting and reduce taps as you no longer need to open the targeting panel to target your victim. The full list of changes for this release can be found below.


Improvements
• Game - (Mobile) Implemented in-place targeting ability buttons to speed up mobile targeting and reduce taps needed to successfully vote or target your victim.
• Game - (Non-mobile) The chat log filter dropdown has been expanded to show the entire 15 players in the game to eliminate the need to scroll through the dropdown.
• Game - Serial Killer Buff: The SK has been buffed so that their attacks will now penetrate role blocks, killing not only the target but also the blocker. The blocker’s Last Will will be bloodied and no longer legible. However, the SK also now has a special ability called Cautious which allows the SK to choose NOT to kill any role blockers. Note that Jailor and Pirate are considered super role blocks, so target penetration does not work against them. However, you can still choose to spare their lives using Cautious.
• Game - Arsonist Douse Buff: The Arsonist now has enhanced powers. They will passively douse anyone that visits them.
• Game - Werewolf Buff: After the fourth night, there is a full moon every night, which allows the werewolf to attack every night.
• Game - Juggernaut Buff: The Juggernaut now has Basic defense from the beginning of the game. They now gain some of their later abilities a kill earlier than before. Juggernaut will also now have the following results when investigated: “Your target could be a Lookout, Forger, Juggernaut, or Coven Leader.” Investigative results have also been updated for the other roles listed for Coven games.
• Game - Psychic Change: The Psychic’s abilities are no longer tied to full moon nights due to the werewolf change listed above. Instead, the Psychic’s abilities will simply be available on alternate nights.
• Game - Lookout Nerf: The Lookout now can only see up to three people that visit per night. If there are more than three visitors, the Lookout will be aware that there were more visitors but won’t be able to identify them.
• Lobby/Custom Game - Anonymous Voting: In a Custom game, the Host can select the option to have Anonymous Voting. This option will prevent votes from being tied to players, instead being reported as (for example): “Someone voted against Cotton Mather.” In this mode, you will not know who has voted, who has not, and what each player’s vote was.


Bug Fixes
• Game - Fixed the Transport button labels which were being populated with improper text.
• Game - Fixed an accidental nerf to the Witch and Coven Leader that resulted from the secondary targeting changes made in the previous release, whereby they could not make their victims target themselves.
• Game - Fixed the Tooltips on targeting buttons with custom role verbs not updating correctly.
• Game - Fixed narrow Last Wills and Death Notes on narrow screen aspect ratios such as 5:4.

Patch 3.2.4 The Retributionist Reborn

Hey Townies,

Today we are releasing Town of Salem 3.2.4 which includes a design overhaul to the Retributionist role. We've also been listening to the community and made big improvements to the secondary targeting functionality for Retributionist, Necromancer, Witch, Coven Leader, and Transporter. This release also includes a number of other improvements, as well as bug and crash fixes. Check out everything that has changed below!

IMPROVEMENTS
• Game - Retributionist Role has been reworked. It no longer resurrects a single role, once. Instead, it now can raise dead Town members as minions for one night, every night, similar to the Necromancer, but targeted to Town roles only. The Retributionist will have any information their minion receives forwarded to them.
• Game - Updated the following roles to use in-place secondary targeting rather than a slide-out secondary menu: Retributionist, Necromancer, Transporter, Witch, Coven Leader. This means that after you select your first target the targeting menu updates automatically, and you may choose your second target from the exact same place.
• Game - Amnesiac has been reworked to allow remembering unique Town roles, now that a Ret can't revive a unique role at the same time, or after an Amnesiac remembers it.
• Game - Juggernaut now has much better odds to show up in games.
• Game - Taunts from dead players can only be seen by other dead players and the taunt target.
• Game Feedback - Necromancer/CovenLeader/Witch now receive feedback messages similar to the feedback the Retributionist receives.
• Game Feedback - Added Ambusher night feedback when they attack someone.
• Passwords - Requirements for new/changed passwords have been updated to require lowercase, uppercase, digit, and at least one special symbol and min 10 characters, no spaces
• Customization - Selection popups will now open to the first page of items rather than the page that contains your current selection. This addresses an issue where players though they had not received a new item that they had received, which is usually located on the first page.
• Friends List - The number of friends you have is now displayed in the Friends List header.
• Burger Menu - Notification and Friend message counts will now update even if the menu is open.

BUG FIXES
• Friends List - Fixed a crash that could occur when clicking a friend that is in a game in the Friends List.
• Friends List - Fixed a crash that could occur when accessing the Friends List after having already played a game.
• Friend Chat - Chat box placeholder text will now properly show that you cannot chat with an offline friend if the friend goes offline while you are chatting with them.
• Customization - Fixed issue loading the Spaceship background in Customization on WebGL.
• Customization - Fixed issue loading the Love Shack house in Customization on WebGL
• Game Chat - Fixed issue where player could send a message immediately after dying and it would appear as regular chat rather than dead chat, though only Dead could actually see the message.
• Game Feedback - Necromancer reanimate actions are now displayed correctly to teammates.
• Game Feedback - Spy will now get their ability feedback the night they die.
• Game - HexMaster will now wipeout the town if they hex their final target the same night they die.
• Game - Fixed Bodyguard and HexMaster skin positioning in positions 7 and 8.
• Game - Fixed a glitch in the Kunoichi Walking animation.
• Game - Reanimated ambusher will no longer attack roles that attempted to visit but were roleblocked.
• Game - Fixed bug when Jailor was killed by jailing Pestilence.
• Game - AFK logout no longer results in Abnormal Disconnection message on WebGL.
• Game - Fixed disconnection due to ArgumentNullException when receiving role info.
• Game - Fixed disconnection that could occur when validating the game setup in the lobby.
• Game - Fixed disconnection that could occur due to NullReferenceException when revealing role after player lynched.
• Game - Fixed disconnection that could occur due to ArgumentOutOfRangeException when clicking Next or Previous page pips.
• Game - Fixed disconnection that could occur due to NullReferenceException when attempting to show a promo.
• Game - Fixed disconnection that could occur due to NullReferenceException when a character is walking to center for trial.
• ELO - Minimum ELO gains have been fixed.
• Achievements - Improved clarity of Psychopathic Pact wording to indicate that both SKs must be alive to earn the achievement.
• Achievements - Due to change in Retributionist gameplay, changed the Executioner achievement that required a Retributionist to revive their target. You may now earn an achievement for getting your target executed on Day 10 or later.
• Achievements - Retributionist achievements reworked due to change in role mechanics.
• Achievements - Fixed a variety of bugs whereby a role would improperly earn an achievement when reanimated by a Necromancer.
• Server - No longer attempts to send successful hanging message to a Jester that has left the game.
• Server - No longer attempts to send execution message to a jailed player that has left the game.
• Server - Refactored role pointers to prevent server crashes.
• Server - Attack/Defense feedback improved to be more standardized. Temporary defense given by certain roles through game mechanics such as healing now give attackers the 'Your targets defense was to high' feedback.

Patch 3.2.3 Steam release notes

Hey Townies,

Today we are releasing Town of Salem 3.2.3. This release we focused mostly on a lot of bug and crash fixes. We hope this will fix many users' recent issues with abnormal disconnects.

IMPROVEMENTS
Game Chat - The Copy capability in chat history/log is now limited to actual chat messages, and is not available for feedback or other messages. This is to interrupt the meta that has developed where players are requested to copy their feedback message and paste it in their chat to prove their role.
Game - Added a fancy new Jailed screen overlay when you are jailed.
Game - Optimized performance of chat log.
Game - System messages will now be written to the chat log.
General - A number of code optimizations throughout to enhance performance.

BUG FIXES
Customization - Fixed Character skin sometimes appearing in incorrect size on first open.
Logout - Logging out on web now immediately logs you out, rather than waiting for browser tab to be closed.
Lobby - Fixed an edge case where a player could potentially open a Lobby and immediately start a single-player game.

Patch 3.2.0

Today is a big day! With patch 3.2.0 Town of Salem's web version of the game will be updated to use the same client as Steam and Mobile. This means our web players will be playing with our latest client UI with all of its bells and whistles.

The new User Interface is more sleek. It provides quality of life features such as a Notes feature that lets you take notes in-game outside of your Last Will or Death Note, Player Numbers in chat, graveyard, and player list, and filters to easily search through the chat log.

What this update means for BlankMediaGames

For our team, this update means that Town of Salem is officially on one codebase and technology. Originally, Town of Salem was built using a technology called Flash using ActionScript3 as our coding language. Some may know that Flash is set to be deprecated at the end of this year, meaning browsers will no longer support it. This is why we have been tirelessly working on changing our technology over to the Unity engine. Town of Salem was completely rewritten in a different technology, using a different programming language in order to make sure the game can live on for years to come. Finally we have reached the end of that long road.

Working on this rewrite over the last couple of years has been challenging for our small team. Splitting work with adding new content to the Flash version of the game while also continuing our development with the new engine, and also supporting the new content on mobile meant that not as much content could be made. Now, we can work on features without delay. We no longer have a looming deadline over our heads for the death of Flash, and we do not need to duplicate work on two platforms. Hooray!

What does this mean for you, our players?

New content, new features, new cool stuff! Like any launch, there will be a period where we will be focusing on making sure the new client is as bug free as possible before starting on anything huge BUT with this launch you can already see the fruits of our labor with the new game mode: Town Traitor

Players who haven't used the new UI yet should allow themselves time to get used to the changes. Anytime a change is made, it is easy to want what you are used to even if the changes made are good ones. We think with time, you’ll come to love the new UI as much as we do.

We hope that everyone is excited for the future of Town of Salem!

Patch 3.2.0 Notes

In addition to the new Town Traitor game mode, this release completes our multi-year effort to transition our platform-specific products from multiple languages and game engines onto Unity, a modern game engine with a bright future. Read more about this below.

IMPROVEMENTS
• General (Web) - As many of you know, our web version of Town of Salem ran on a dying technology called Flash. Porting our game to a modern game engine was critical because Flash is reaching its end-of-life soon. While we had previously successfully transitioned our Mobile and Steam products to Unity, with this release the final piece—our web-based game—has been ported to Unity using WebGL. This new, revitalized web version benefits from the many visual and technological improvements that we developed while porting our mobile and Steam products. If you play Town of Salem on any of our other platforms, the new look and feel should be very familiar. Coding to a single game engine with one code base allows us to be more agile, and we’re looking forward to bringing you some cool new stuff in the near future.
• Game - New Town Traitor and Coven Town Traitor game modes. Figure out which Town member has gone over to the dark side!
• Game - Performance improvements when opening the Chat Log.
• Game - Performance improvements to the Judgement Menu.
• Game - Improved resolution of some additional character skins.
• Registration - To prevent frequent mistakes when typing email address during registration, added a second email confirmation input box requiring the email to be entered twice and match in both entries.

BUG FIXES
• Game - Notepad has been fixed to appear in front of the Judgement Menu.
• Game - Fixes to ticket system.
• Game - Crystal Fighter hanging animation fixed.
• Game - Fixed Stargal skin sometimes not displaying.
• Game - Fixed Player Already Reported issue.

Patch 3.1.14

Hey Townies,

Today we are releasing Town of Salem patch 3.1.14. This patch contains several improvements to feedback given to users, changes to improve consistency across platforms, and bug fixes. We are also implementing some new features to help deal with ban evaders more effectively.

IMPROVEMENTS
• General - Lightened the hue of the Serial Killer blue role color as it was often too dark to easily read.
• Account Creation - Added some more specific feedback on why a username is not allowed.
• General - Feedback is now provided after correctly solving a captcha.
• Lobby - The Add Role button in Custom Lobby was changed to say Toggle Host Controls.
• Lobby - Changed the Title of the Host Controls slideout from Add Roles to Host Controls.
• Lobby (Non-mobile) - Adding roles from the Host Controls slide out now require a double-click rather than single-click. Mobile retains the single-click ability.
• Game - Last Will - For consistency with Notes, moved the Send Will to Chat button to the bottom right corner.
• Game - Increased middle scroll button speed on chat box history.
• Other non-user facing changes.

BUG FIXES
• Chromebook - Fixed enter key not sending chat messages. Must enable the Send Chat on Lost Focus checkbox in the Burger Menu.
• Startup - Fixed client hang when unable to process a particular startup file.
• Burger Menu - Fixed Ranked Statistics label incorrectly showing Pre-Ranked Statistics on first open even though user has reached Ranked status.
• Shop - Fixed issue where restricted free users could access the shop by attempting to purchase a potion in the Cauldron with insufficient TP.
• Lobby - Fixed issue in Custom lobbies where duplicate or other quantity-limited roles could be improperly added to the role list resulting in an unstartable game.
• General - Fixed some instances where free Coven tickets were earned but couldn’t be used.
• Game - Fixed incorrect tracker results when Mafioso picks one victim but Godfather chooses another.
• Game - Fixed Tracker detecting Godfather visiting victim when Godfather orders Mafia to kill the victim.
• Game - Fixed a Tracker tracking Godfather bug.
• Game - Added Medusa vs. Transporter stalemate detector.
• Game - Added Jailor (no executions remaining) vs. Coven Leader stalemate detector.

• The filter used for account names is now more strict.
• We will now verify a Refer-A-Friend name exists before allowing you to create your account.
• We are implementing a new system to restrict IPs when a player is banned. This will not affect a majority of users, but will stop abuse cases.
• When a Steam user is banned or suspended their Steam ID will go into a permanent table to prevent abuse of the account deletion feature to avoid bans.

Patch 3.1.13

Hey Townies,

We have a whole heap of new cosmetic items coming your way! While we have been working on different improvements to our Unity versions of the game our artist has been hard at work on some sweet new cosmetics. We will be making some older cosmetics purchasable with Merit Points , and Taunts will be purchasable with Merit Points now as well! Check out everything that has changed below:

NEW FEATURES
• Cosmetics - Characters: Hex Master, Consort, Hypnotist and Vigilante.
• Cosmetics - Pets: Owl.
• Cosmetics - Houses: Aquarium, Sphinx, and Tipi.
• Cosmetics - Backgrounds: Alien, Army, and Construction.

IMPROVEMENTS
• Game - Role Card - When dead, the empty role card now includes a transparent tombstone graphic.
• Game - Mobile only - the copy button visible on each chat log entry has been removed .To copy a chat message, simply press and hold the message until the message is copied.
• Game - For the Vampire Hunter, overheard vampire chats now have a unique style.

• Game - Fixed the Chat filter potentially showing misleading information to Vampire Hunters.
• Game - Fixed issue with Last Will improperly allowing some rich text markup (like red or green text, for instance). This was not compatible with all clients.
• Game - Mobile - Last Will Close Without Save button is fixed to no longer send will to chat.

Mobile/Steam Release

Hey Townies, today we are releasing Town of Salem patch 3.1.12. This release includes a huge number of improvements and fixes. Here’s a partial list of changes included in this patch. This patch includes fixes to both the Steam and mobile Unity versions of the game. The older patch notes also contain many items that are being released to mobile for the first time. This is because they were released to Steam, and we are now back patching these changes to mobile now that Steam is fully released.

NEW FEATURES
• Game - The Chat Log now has a filter by player functionality, making it very easy to review chat entries from a single player.

IMPROVEMENTS
• General - Unity engine upgraded to 2019.2.20 which brings many improvements and bug fixes to the game engine.
• General - iOS only - improved the calculation used for iOS keyboard area.
• General - iOS only - minimum iOS version has been raised to 9.0.
• Burger Menu - added a setting to turn off UI resizing for soft keyboard. If you are using an external keyboard or controller and the soft keyboard does not appear on your system, or are using a non-standard soft keyboard, you can enable this setting to prevent the UI from resizing to provide space for a standard soft keyboard.
• Login - iOS only - Removed the Login With Facebook button (will return in the future after we implement Sign in with Apple functionality).
• Login - Moved the Remember Me checkbox up a bit as it was too close to the login button on very wide screens.
• Shop - Added a popup for cancelled purchases confirming the cancellation.
• Cosmetics - Improvements to various character and pet skins to reduce pixelation.

BUG FIXES
• General - Many keyboard-related fixes.
• Burger Menu - added scroll bars to some pages where content ran off the bottom of the screen on very wide screens and was inaccessible.
• Login - Account Creation - Fixed title overlapping other text on very wide screens.
• Forced Account Name Change - subsequent logins after name change (without relogging) no longer continues to prompt to change name.
• Name Change Popup - reduced size to fit better on very wide screens.
• Add Friend Popup - fixed invalid characters being allowed in Add Friend input box.
• Customization - Fixed double-click sound when opening Scroll Selection window from Customization screen.
• Cauldron - Awarded items now properly appear in your inventory without having to relog.
• Party and Lobby - Fixed chat sound missing on incoming chat messages.
• Lobby - Fixed randomness of list display in Host Controls when changing between faction lists.
• Pick Name screen - keyboard no longer pushes up the chat input when Name that is being edited.
• Pick Name screen - made the volume controls larger.
• Role Reveal - Music no longer plays the first bar of second iteration of music before moving to Game scene.
• Role Reveal - Fixed scrolls overlapping title on very wide screens.
• Game - Fixed issue with odd cutouts on widescreens on left and right side of screen during death announcements.
• Game - Lovers Mode - fixed a string lookup issue for died of broken heart chat notification.
• Game - Role card scroll bar now disappears after death when role card content is hidden.
• Game - You can now drag the background map around in game.
• Game - Fixed infrequent bug where role card, graveyard, target menu, etc. do not get populated.
• Game - Fixed left carat character in Last Will and Notes preventing sending the contents to chat.
• Game - Now properly displays Captcha question popup when requested.
• End Game - Screen now remains in Safe Area.

CRASH FIXES
• Many crash fixes inherited from Unity game engine upgrade and fixes made in previous releases that had not yet been released to mobile (see previous patch notes).

3.1.10 Steam Unity Patch

Hey Townies,

Today we are releasing Town of Salem for Steam patch 3.1.10. This release resolves some Steam login and linking issues, and also includes some additional improvements and bug fixes. Here’s the list of changes included in this patch:

IMPROVEMENTS
• Account Profile - Reduced the size of Scrolls and Taunts list items in Account Profile.
• Character Skins - Improved resolution of Jester and Brock Smith skins.
• Pick Name Screen - Added new warning message about selecting a name.
• Notifications - Moved the Accept/Decline buttons into the main button so you don’t have to expand the main button to accept or decline a notification.
• Game - Lovers Mode - changed cause of death from Suicide to Broken Heart when lovers die.
• Game Chat - System messages now print in chat as yellow text rather than white.
• Game - Targeting tab at night is no longer auto-activated when dead unless you are a GA or Jester with ability remaining.
• Game - Targeting tab at day is no longer auto-activated when dead unless you are a Medium with an ability remaining.

BUG FIXES
• General - Text localization is applied earlier so you don’t see the text flash.
• Steam Linking popup - now has a checkbox to hide the popup for future logins.
• Navigation Menu - Cauldron icon timer text is now properly aligned.
• Featured Items - coin image on button no longer blocks click.
• Referral Codes Screen - now localizes properly.
• Game Chat Log - fixed some weirdness with autoscrolling.
• Game Target Menu - Fixed issue with Arsonist douse icon when changing mind to ignite.
• Game Target Menu - Disguiser dying as Medium will no longer get Seance buttons.
• Game - Plaguebearer and Pestilence no longer have Death Note buttons.

CRASH FIXES
• Fixed pregame crash due to stray message.
• Fixed ArgumentOutOfRangeException that could occur when user chooses name.
