The Next Update

It was a little bit of a bumpy start, but we managed to have a smooth run for the last week or so. We have had no major error or game breaking bug reports which is always a plus. There has been some excellent feedback though, and we have spotted a few things ourselves, so we are working on a small update that we will deploy sometime over the next few weeks.

Get your suggestions in quick!

So far the updates have been for one or two major issues each, so we are spending more time on this update to get as much done as possible. The more we can improve now in these early days the better for everyone. We are always testing the game ourselves, but we are only two people and we unfortunately don't have the benefit of having a large team, full of diverse views and opinions, so your feedback is most important to us.
We have also added another Discussion Topic here on Steam, that may help anyone still having issues with online multiplayer. Be sure to have a look.

Thanks for playing!

Update Version S1.23

-Field Of View Setting Added to "Advanced" graphics settings.
-Default Control display added to Settings menu.
-Settings menu has been modified to account for the new tabs.

-Frequency of enemy chatter has been reduced.

Hot-Fix Version S 1.14

-Server Browser should now be Connecting properly.
Online Hosting Requires Port Forwarding, Ports are displayed on the InGame Menu.

Version S 1.13

Released and Ready to Play

Yesterday we finally released Toy Wars Invasion on Steam. I hope everyone playing is enjoying themselves and not running into too many issues. Unfortunately, there is a problem with the Server Browser currently, which has decided not to work for the release build... Conveniently enough for us. This is a major problem for us and we are trying to resolve these issues as quickly as possible, be prepared for a hot fix very soon! We Assure you the Multi-Player is Functional, and manual connections via the console command may still be achieved. Details can be found in the new Bug Thread.

Update Incoming

Besides the hotfix, there will be another patch coming to address some issues players are having with repetitive audio and 'missing' settings in the options menu. We are Listening! Please use the forums or New Bug Thread here on the steam community to report your issues and suggestions.

Thanks For Playing!

Test Results

Well here we are, not long now at all before everyone can get their hands on a Party Popper, or a Laser Pistol and blast some Twisted Toys into pieces. To be honest, the feedback has been rather minimal. We have had some bugs fixed and some things tweaked. Otherwise it has been good...Well at least nothing bad has been brought to our attention.

Future Updates

We have been waiting for this for a long time, and we want this to be something Everyone can enjoy, and be proud of. Though the Release is upon us, this is not the end! If you see something strange, have a suggestion, or are having issues with the game, we strongly encourage you to report your issues either to the official forums or the Community Forum here on Steam. For now though we hope the game Behaves for everyone playing, and that you have a Wonderful Time doing so.
Thanks for Visiting, See you all Very Soon!

Almost There!

Not long now, just a few short weeks and you'll be able to tear your way through the hordes of Unwanted causing chaos in the world with all of your friends. Or against them if it pleases you... We have 'talked' a lot about what we have been doing behind the scenes, and now its time to show you!
Starting with the workers, who had the animation overhaul.

Its not much but you spend a lot of time following them around, so we felt we'd give them a bit more love.
Next up. The New Damage Features.
The Goliath's mainly, as they slightly differ from the changes we made to the wizards and ballerinas. Now you can tell when you've hurt them.

and of course, the fire.

Burn, baby, Burn! The Firestarter turns everything to ash, even the ballerinas pretty dress is not safe from the blackening flames!

Home Stretch

We are the stage again where we will soon be looking at some extra testing from other parties. We want to make sure everything is working for everybody and not just us developers. We'll get back to you with the details soon and let you know how it goes.
We'll see you next time, Thanks for Visiting!

Easter Update

Happy Easter Everybody, from us here on the Toy Wars Invasion team.
I hope you haven't eaten ALL your chocolate yet... Because everyone knows that's what this holiday's really about, The Treats! So we've brought you a few little special items ourselves, Enjoy!

Weapon's For Keepsies

Buying a weapon now entitles it to you for the whole round, instead of resetting upon respawn. This was something we felt many players had an issue with in the initial release, so hopefully this will make tackling down those harder difficulty's more tolerable.

Damaged Enemies

We mentioned previously about the Wizard's cracking under the pressure. We have also made changes to other enemies as well. All enemies that are burnt with the Firestarter are now visibly charred. Goliath's now start to show signs of damage and fatigue as they take damage, Including the Cyborg. Cannons are now Super Effective against Goliath's and their flammable fur.

Audio Overhaul

We have a Brand New Announcer for the Solo and Co-Operative Objectives. All announcement messages have been redone in a different voice, with a whole new Personality! Along with various other changes that have been made to music volumes and sound effects throughout the game.
Thanks Everyone for Visiting, Have an Egg-cellent Holiday!
