Major Update #5 - Migrated the game to a newer engine version
[p]We’ve finally migrated the game to a newer engine version. Thanks to this, nircmd and the extra executable file are no longer needed to run the game on 10th-gen Intel CPUs and newer.[/p][p] In addition, we did everything on the list below: [/p][p][/p]
Day-Night Cycle & Random Weather Variation
[p]Added a dynamic weather system with snow and fog.[/p]
[p]Added snowflake effects on the locomotive’s front windows during snowfall.[/p]
[p]Fixed the sun’s movement across the sky, improving sunrise and sunset positions.[/p]
[p]Adjusted day-night lighting - nights are now much darker.[/p][p][/p]
Gameplay
[p]Survival Mode: introduced a new weapon, the RPG-7. You can find it in a special location near Izhmorskaya station. (It’s not yet available in Story Mode).[/p]

Random weather variation
It’s been a while since our last update. We’ve been working on the story mode continuation and a weather system, and we discovered we couldn’t get snowfall to work right without moving the game to a newer engine version - a pretty big undertaking that took us quite some time.
Finally, you can now watch a video below showing the random weather system in action, complete with a full day-night cycle.
We still need a bit more time to thoroughly test the new engine; once we’re sure everything’s solid, we’ll release an update with the weather system. Thanks for your patience!
Major Update #4 - Added about 190 km of route.
Added about 190 km of route from Achinsk to Krasnoyarsk. The route is available in all game modes.
New locations have been added on the section from Yashkino to Anzherskaya, where indestructible locomotive parts can be obtained in Survival mode. In Story mode, these parts are not yet available.
In Simulator mode, indestructible locomotive parts can be purchased in hangars along the route from Yashkino to Krasnoyarsk.
New NPCs armed with AK rifles have been added, appearing in some of the new locations.
Fixed a bug where replacing the "Leaf spring" did not repair the train's condition.
Fixed a bug where some "Journal box lead" parts did not affect the train's condition.
Fixed a bug where an item in the inventory would disappear when pressing Esc while moving it.
Fixed several very rare crashes.
Fixed several places where the minimap in the train was not working correctly.
Improved performance around the alcohol warehouse.
Improved forest performance.
Adjusted AI trains at several stations to reduce instances where they would follow and collide with the player.

Improved overall game optimization, especially in areas with a high density of trees.
Reduced the game's size by approximately 5 GB.
Decreased the frequency of overly long transport tasks in favor of shorter ones.
Fixed a bug with the "Vodka Connoisseur" achievement, where drinking vodka in bars wasn’t being counted.
Fixed a bug where four journal box leads did not wear out.
Fixed a bug in the laboratory mission where the mission could not be completed if a scientist died before entering the laboratory area.
Adjusted the aggression of scientists in the laboratory to ensure they only attack when you are on their territory.
Fixed the "Pole Dancer" achievement. Now, kills outside the club no longer affect it.
Fixed the battery handle saving issue.
Fixed the issue with using the signalization direction handle when playing with a gamepad.
We are continuously working on optimization and the continuation of the story mode. Expect the opening of another big route section in December. The continuation of the story mode will take a bit more time. Thank you for your patience!

Fixed numerous keyboard control issues in the menu.
Added support for Xbox controller.
Added a default save name when creating a new save.
Added a default game name when starting a new game.
Fixed a bug where clicking on the inventory background made it impossible to close.
Added the ability to focus on levers by holding the right mouse button, allowing control with the scroll wheel without having to hide the inventory.
Fixed a bug where mouse sensitivity in inspect mode did not affect the camera rotation speed.
Corrected the time calculation for achieving Swiss Cheese.
Fixed a bug where the number of FPS affected the rotation speed of held items.
Major Update #2 - Added over 200 km of route.
Added over 200 km of route from Yashkino to Suslovo. For now, the new route is only available in Survival and Simulator modes.
Added Steam achievements. Mafia mission achievements will be retroactively granted to players who have completed them and load the appropriate save.
Added bulletproof locomotive glass. You can find them in the hangars behind the Yashkino station.
Fixed a bug where having a weapon in hand allowed stealing from the junkyard without being detected.
Improved loading of shooting NPCs who can run.

The timing of the repair of the destroyed bridge was changed so that after the bridge is blown up before Tutal'skaya station, you can connect the wagons and transport them across the bridge.
Fixed the railway wagons disconnection area at Bolotnoye station, where wagons could not be delivered correctly if they were positioned at the end of the area.
Changed the currency from Dollars to Rubles.
Added backlighting to the speedometer.
Reduced the movement speed of the character inside the locomotive to make it smoother.
Added more shooting NPCs who move around; some stationary shooting NPCs now also move.
Decreased NPC shooting accuracy.
Balanced the rewards for some mafia missions.
Improved the spawn of AI trains when traveling the same route multiple times.
Major Update #1 - Endless Transport Tasks
Endless Transport Tasks and Minimap Added:
Upon reaching a train station, you will receive a message from the dispatcher about available transport tasks.
You can check the available transport tasks in your area by making radio calls.
At most stations, there are at least 2 different tasks available, involving transport in both directions.
Tasks are randomly generated and endless.
Initially, to ensure financial liquidity, tasks involve shorter routes. After passing through 19 stations, tasks involving longer routes are generated.
You are not obliged to complete transport tasks.
We have removed time limits for completing transport tasks.
If you disconnect wagons in the wrong place, they will disappear and the task will be canceled. (Remember to park wagons in designated zones).
The task's value is determined based on the length of the route needed to deliver the wagons.
The destination station and task value are displayed on the waypoint.
If you start the game from an old save with an active transport task, you must complete that task to receive new tasks under the new rules.
If a new game is started with a tutorial, new tasks will appear only after its completion.
Currently, only one transport task can be taken at a time.
We added a minimap that allows you to check how long a route you need to travel to complete a specific task.
The minimap is automatically available upon entering the locomotive, and to scroll it, you can enter the inventory.

Fixed a bug that caused the panel blocker key to be unusable when loaded in the second section of the locomotive.
Fixed a bug that caused a planted explosive to disappear when loaded on a bridge.
Fixed a bug that caused the militiaman to whom you must deliver the camera to stop working if he was in the middle of dialogue when loading a save.
Fixed a bug that caused AI trains to derail at the Novosibirsk-Glavny station.
Fixed the flashlight zoom bug.
Other Features:
The radio in the second section of the locomotive is now fully functional.
Blown-up bridges are automatically repaired after moving away from them.
We improved the railroad switch highlighting system, so irrelevant switches will no longer be highlighted.
The direction shown for the nearest important points is now based on which cabin the panel blocker key is in.
The dispatcher is now a real human.
