We're happy to announce that alongside a console release, Transient: Extended Edition is now also available to PC players on Steam via today's FREE update.
Presented in stunning 4K resolution, this release includes additional gameplay, a brand-new ending and an assortment of quality of life improvements! Changes as HDR support, additional achievements, multiple saves and enhanced controller and force-feedback support.

Hello everyone!
Thank you for the support you've shown Transient thus far, we're happy to hear that so many of you have enjoyed our adventure. We've also received workable feedback on some aspects of the game that could be improved, and for that, we thank you as well!
This update addresses some of the most common pieces of feedback, including being able to sprint from the start of the game, and skipping mini-games when you lose them.
Changes
We introduced an option to skip both mini-games (Eldritch and Eryx). With this patch, you can choose to skip both mini-games when getting killed by the enemies.
You are now able to run when the game begins.
We introduced various stability improvements and collision fixes along with an improvement for triggering Steam achievements.
Specifically: collision issues were fixed for the AkeleySubCE level in which the player camera was able to penetrate into some certain walls if players had run onto them.

Thank you all for your amazing feedback! We've listened and would like to share with you the first changes and bugfixes to Transient since its release earlier this week.
Here is a summary of the issues addressed with this patch:
- A Journal entry issue for an important clue corrected in English language. - A problem with the Motion blur option corrected. - Focusing issues with the Journal addressed. - A couple of collision issues corrected.

What is Transient?
In this Lovecraftian x Cyberpunk horror adventure, you play as Randolph Carter, a hacker whose crew has bitten off more than they can chew. Use ancient rituals and the latest hacking technology to explore Carter's mysterious dreams and VR Cyber Enclaves, and uncover a terrifying truth that will tear away at your sanity.

Around Gamescom, we announced that Transient would be releasing in October, and that's still the case. And now that we're getting closer and closer to release, we can finally share the exact release date at the MIX Next event!
In case you're unfamiliar, The MIX Next is an online event showcasing the hottest upcoming indies, and we're honored to be a part of that. Transient will be part of the main show, which starts on October 14th around 11 AM PT / 8 PM CEST.

Transient release window reveal at Gamescom!

We're excited to announce... an announcement!
This Gamescom, we'll be revealing our release window via IGN and Iceberg Ahead. Of course, due to circumstances, the show will be completely online -- and free! That means it's never been easier to tune in to Gamescom and follow your favorite gaming news.
