Feature spotlight: Automatic building rotation and snapping
Building harbors, road depots, and more will be easier than ever! With automatic snapping, your buildings will align perfectly with the coastline, existing roads and rails, making construction a breeze. Spend less time adjusting and more time expanding!
Feature spotlight: Improved driving behavior
With improved road traffic simulation, your vehicles will now experience less congestion and more evenly distributed traffic across all lanes. On country roads and highways, slower vehicles stay in the right lane, letting faster ones overtake smoothly. Keep your city moving efficiently!
The public beta of the Autumn Update is now available for Steam and GOG! More details in our Wiki.
Feature spotlight: Three-way-switches
Take your rail network to the next level in our upcoming update! You will be able to create three-way switches, adding flexibility and efficiency to your transport routes even in tight spaces. Perfect for complex junctions! Ready to streamline your rail system?

Autumn Update for Transport Fever 2 with integrated mod browser
This autumn, the upcoming game update will bring many great new features for Transport Fever 2 players. In addition to the expanded modding support, there are many other improvements to make building easier and even more fun in the future.
The most prominent feature of the Autumn Update is the new, fully integrated mod browser, which is available to all players on Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store, Mac AppStore, PlayStation® 5 and Xbox Series X|S. With the mod browser, it is possible to browse through the extensive range of mods from the community directly in the game, subscribe to your favorites and then use them in the game. Beside the well known Steam Workshop, the mod browser will also support the mod.io platform from the creators of ModDB. By working together with them, we can now offer a common mod platform for all Transport Fever 2 editions.
To make modding easier, the modding tools will also receive useful additions with the upcoming Autumn Update. We are already supporting dedicated modders in transferring their content to the new platform and, if possible, preparing it for the console version. Interested modders can contact us if they want to make their mods available to all players.
In addition to mod support, improved road traffic is a key feature. Thanks to the revised simulation, cars will be better distributed on multi-lane roads and bypasses, instead of having to queue through the middle of the city. To make it easier to build these roads, the construction tools will be improved. For example, it will be possible to select existing bridges and tunnels and change their type after they were built, stations and depots will automatically align themselves with the road and when placing roads and tracks, help lines will support you in building exact angles.
After five years of active development with numerous free updates, the Autumn Update will be the last major update for Transport Fever 2. After that there is something new and great in the pipeline.
