Hey y’all, we’ve had a heckuva month.
Treachery in Beatdown City has been in the literal news, our dope AF rap theme song has found new life and we have some actual game updates as well!
First off, Treachery in Beatdown City had an amazing write up in the LA Times. It was even in print.
Rock Paper Shotgun brought up that we indeed have an amazing theme song. Full single, plus remix & instrumental all available here.
Current Update!
Today we just updated the game to handle resolution options to better communicate your current resolution and to better support full screen on resolutions that aren’t multiples of 640 x 360 (like 1680 x 1050) and it won’t break the game’s UI anymore. Small fixes, but hopefully they help those of y’all they were affecting before. (and we’re sorry it took so long!)
Fun fact, our game scales beautifully all the way up to 4K and beyond. But it’s always going to look best when scaled in multiples of 640 x 360, 720, 1080, 2160, etc.
(also if you have an Ultrawide monitor, can you show us what this new update does for you in Fullscreen mode?)
Future Updates!
Localization has started for several languages, so those will be available (hopefully) within the next month!
We’re planning to drop a trailer to show y'all some of the future FREE content in July, and we’re really excited for it!

It’s been a big couple of weeks!
We launched on March 31st and have been seeing all of the great feedback from folks.
Just this weekend we got some amazing articles drop:
Fixed some pesky Grappling bugs (that caused soft locks)
We reworked Sneaky enemy grapple counters to be less frequent
Fixed a back grapple bug on 1 enemy in particular
Other misc bug fixes.
Right now we're working on some full screen resolution issues if you're running on anything that's not 1280 x 720 / 1920 x 1080 (like 1680 x 1050). We hope to have that done this week.
