Research and Discoveries
This major update adds a research tree, containing four branches: Colonization, Exploration, Army and Navy, each branch with three levels of knowledge. Once a research is completed, a new random bonus specific to that branch will be revealed. A new unit type - naturalist - will become available once you set your foot firmly in the New World (min population and development of 5). This new unit type can explore the map in search of points of interests that will reveal previously unknown plants and animals. These discoveries will boost up research. Naturalist can also live among the natives to learn about their culture and their knowledge of herbs and nature in general (action that can be used once per culture).
Update announcement
Coming soon a major update which will introduce a new unit type - naturalist, New World discoveries (plants, animals), and a small research tree.
