Major Update Released!

Hello everyone! I've implemented a large number of fixes, both to game mechanics, and tightening up the story.


  • Aedric's Call to Arms now affects alive actors only
  • Ensnared now has an animation while active
  • Damien's Arcane barrage now deals more damage
  • Damien's Analyticus now debuffs willpower by 20% and has a 4 round cooldown
  • Damien's Astral Theft now deals more damage
  • The Conscripted Samurai's Iron Will now has a 4 round cooldown
  • Athena's Divine Grace will no longer revive fallen allies if Empower Spell is active
  • Enemies should no longer attempt to dominate stunned party members, locking them in an endless cycle
  • Encinder's higher level animation now anchors below targets, allowing it to be seen clearly
  • Fragility won't kill guest characters if they don't act in time on Storyteller or Normal difficulty
  • Two tokens should now reflect the main character's custom name
  • Fire damage from Flaming Fists can no longer can be blocked

Demo Update!

The demo for the game has been updated, including many QoL features, re-balancing, and more!

Fixes


  • The header for Aedric's auras now says that only one can be active at any time.
  • Sunrays no longer display through transitions and fades.
  • Storyteller difficulty now grants immunity to Doom.

4th Mini Update

A few small fixes for today.


  • More spelling errors have been corrected.
  • The description for Fae Covenant now includes the user in its effect.
  • The Brilliant Charm of Meditation can now only be worn by mages.
  • Aedric's thoughts during the inn scenes now use the dark background, showing that he's talking mentally, instead of outloud.
  • The speaker's name in an ending scene has been centered.
  • Due to feedback, the first series of Chain Fights are now a little easier.
  • If an enemy hits with an element-infused physical attack, it is now impossible to block the elemental damage if the first attack connected.
  • Transitions in Act 2 and later should be smoother, now.

New Game Under Development Soon!

Hello everyone!

These last few weeks I've been doing a lot of research into different things, and I'm very close to starting production on the next game in the Legends of Vitaria series. The layout of the story is complete, and I'm just figuring out the specifics.

3rd Mini Update

A few small fixes for today.


  • Prayer of Guidance's tooltip has been corrected. Before, it was reading 50%, when it should've been a 20% increase to Hit Chance.
  • The tier 2 symbol for Athena has been renamed, correcting a spelling error.

  1. Right Click Trials of Kokoro in your game library.
  2. Click Properties...
  3. At the bottom of the window, in the Launch Options field, paste "--in-process-gpu", without the quotes.
  4. Close the window, and run the game!


Now, the Steam Overlay should work and you can use F12 to take screenshots!

2nd Mini Update

Morning everyone! Today, I fixed a few small things.


  • One of the enemies in Act 4 actually has something to steal, now.
  • One of Damien's dialogues during battle has been adjusted to be more concise.
  • The Ruby can now be sold, and its description has been corrected.
  • All of Aedric's incantations for Rexus Ultima should be coloured correctly now.

Small Update

A small update this early Saturday morning.


  • I squashed a bug where the Fear status couldn't be removed via Encourage, leaving the target paralyzed for the rest of battle. The affected character should be able to act normally now once Encouraged.
  • All Holy actions' dialogue are coloured orange-yellow, as per the element's colour.
