Playa Escondida Rework

Hey, this Update started with a rework of the map Playa Escondida, but I ended up solving the stairs problem, so here is the full patch note :


  • Playa Escondida Rework
  • New animations and system for ascending and descending stairs
  • New Raycast system to better understand the characters environment
  • New IK system to avoid clipping through the terrain
  • New Tricks, Cork and Full Semi and Shuriken Cutter Semi Variation, Quint Full, Catpass
  • Fixed the double full punch not validating the tutorial
  • Fixes on the climb up system
  • Fix on the quick start mechanic when clicking on the left joystick
  • Removed default global fog volume for better looking weather, performances, and used local fog volume when needed
  • Fixed skinny jeans mesh hide asset, underwear clipping through the jeans
  • Fix water collider height not matching the water level on the top of playa escondida

Alpha 3.8 Update

Hey everyone, It’s time for an update. This one is huge, introduction the hooked map, and a lot of new tricks and variations.

It’s a huge update because I changed the way we play the game for kicks and variations. There is not need to hold any button during the transitions now, so the games flows much better.

If you found the game hard I encourage you to give it another shot. And I also recommend for everyone to redo at least the Variations Tutorial to understand how it’s done now.

Hot Fix - Parkour System Rework

This update includes a few global game quality improvements and fixes, especially a rework of the climb up animations integration, here are the changes in detail :


  • Fixed a camera issue when running forward, that was very unpleasant, and it looked that the character was not running at a constant speed
  • Tweaked the running animations so that the shoulders are lower, the guy looked so stiff before
  • Fixed / reworked the transition from ragdoll in the water to swimming
  • Reworked the climb up parkour system, so it should feel much better now and more accurate
  • Fixed a glitch when climbing up low, (jumping on a small ledge while running), that sometimes triggered the high fall and the roll when landing on the ledge
  • Fixed the flipping onto things glitch, so now you should just radgoll in and fall if you land and your trick is not over
  • Tweaked a bit the Arena map
  • Fixed the xray broken bone not resetting on going to marker

Alpha 3.7 Update

This update will allow you to train your cliff-jumping skills and discover a new air drag mechanic while jumping off a hot air balloon in Polynesia, it also includes a lot of fixes to increase smoothness

It includes the following things :
- Disabling of self body collisions to improve ragdoll stability and physics accuracy
- Fix on Camera tracking glitch
- Improvement on Camera reset when player position isn't continuous, spawn, teleportation, replay
- New air drag realistic implementation for skydiving
- New air drag non realistic implementation to practice cliff jumping while keeping fall speed in a range that's manageable for the engine
- New map : Air Balloon
- New trick : Triple Full landing complete to swing out of it
- Fix on a glitch that launched the character in the air when automatically transition to ragdoll after over-rotating a trick
- Improved shore waves on Playa Escondida

Unity 6 Upgrade

This update is motivated by a Unity upgrade, It may have positive consequences on the performances, and fixes the crashes on loading a scene that some of you had.

In addition to that it contains the following things :
- Entire rework and optimization of the loading of the maps to shorten the waiting time and smooth out the experience
- Fixed ragdoll behavior of kicking the legs randomly when tucked
- Improved splash effect depending on water penetration
- Wetsuit clothing gear for the male character
- Tweak on trampoline horizontal velocity of jumps
- Addition of motion blur for high and ultra, a dedicated toggle will come in the settings in the future
- Fix ui bugs in the settings
- Fix vaults issues on the arena blocs
- Fix unexpected camera traveling when entering replay mode
- Alternative Input system for Free fall mode available in the settings

Polishing Update - 24-08-24

Just a little update with a few bug fixes, a rework of the tucking system, a few new tricks and some polish on the maps

Here is the detail :


  • Fix a bug where the character tried to jump on slanted ground and fell
  • Fixed the grabbing system
  • Added some concrete blocks with a custom shader displaying the height of the cliffs
  • Added a secret teleporter
  • Improved back flexibility of the character on ragdoll mode
  • Reworked the cliffs on the Playa Escondida map to make it more interesting
  • New tricks : Double cork semi, Triple Cork Semi, rockscrew and sideswipe semi

New Map : Cenote

To celebrate the cliff jumping season, I designed a new map with a 50m deep Cenote

I also did a few bug fixes and adjustments :

  • Camera rework (The camera movement was stuttering when the framerate was not stable, I entirely reworked it to make it smoother)
  • Allowed the played to immediately retry an input after failing one in the tutorial
  • Fixed the invisible Teleporters on the Arena map
  • Reworked the bubbles particle system on entering in the water

Hot Fix - Linux and Steamdeck

Rebuilt to fix the invisible character on Linux and Steamdeck after the previous update

Vaults & Wallflips

This update includes the Temple map, the new vault and wallflips mechanics, an update of the Arena with a trampoline and a lot of bug fixes :

Fixed one cause of the invisible character problem some people had due to their region settings

Fixed the stuck in a trick that could happen in the tutorial

Fixed the invisible target marker in the tutorial

Fixed the problem where the player couldn’t get up in shallow water

Fixed the physics of the jumps from very high positions

Put the Restart button to the bottom of the pause menu to avoid miss-clicking when trying to replay

Added a few overall gameplay quality patches to remove some frustration
