  • Added Melee Weapons for Players
  • Added 4 hotbar slots that can be populated with weapons
  • Character movement speed depending on what weapon you're carrying
  • All new movement animations
  • Movement Speed is affected by direction:
    - Forward 100%
    - Strafing and Backwards: 50%
  • Picking up Ammo will give Ammo to the currently equipped weapon, or the first weapon in hotbar if none is equipped
  • Added swapping between hotbar slots with mouse wheel

The game is still in Early Access, this patch brings a lot of changes to game play and a lot of game code has been rewritten and reworked, this CAN potentially introduce new bugs and break things, please report any bugs you find in the community forums!

Network Optimization
* Added Client prediction, eliminating delays when using abilities like Shooting or Rolling
* Client Prediction needs to be confirmed by the server before applying damage etc, but noticable "lag" or "delay" when eg. shooting is eliminated completely

Item Shop
* Added a new In game Item shop, where you can purchase characters, weapons and armor.
* Purchased characters and weapons are lost on death (money is unaffected)

Weapons / Armor
* You can now Purchase weapons from the in game Shop
* All weapons are lost on death, same as with characters
* The military no longer drop weapons that can be picked up
* Bullet projectiles have been removed and replaced with a simplified hit scan, to allow clients to predict hit results properly
* Adjusted bullet/weapon spread
* Added an armor value instead of Hitpoints to unlockable characters, this will be used and explained in the future
* Weapon accuracy (ranged) for AI is affected by game difficulty level

Matchmaking
* Now fully utilizes Steam lobbies for matchmaking, the system in place is an early prototype build but should be fully functional

General Game Improvements
* The base game mode class has been reworked completely, making it a lot easier to make new game modes in the future
* Changed how the AI turns, interpolating between rotations to make the movement less robotic
* A lot of UI changes
* Level loading / Restarting should now be quicker
* Now fully utilizes steam lobbies for matchmaking
* You can now see the other players selected character and weapon in the Lobby matchmaking screen
* Fixed lamp/light bugs
* Turning on the Lights in one level will keep the lights activated in all levels
* Money reward now scales with game difficulty
* Increased money reward for bosses
* Added difficulty multipliers description
* A lot of misc changes

A NEW PATCH WILL BE AVAILABLE SHORTLY



* Increased money gained throughout the game
* You can now view the leaderboards in the main menu for levels that you have completed
* Leaderboards for level scores is now also visible in the main menu
* Removed software mouse cursor and replaced with a hardware cursor (will eliminate slight mouse lag that might occur with software cursors)
* Fixed some level collision issues and other minor bugs

CPU USAGE HOTFIX

A hotfix patch will be available shortly to address a CPU usage bug
