Tropico 6 Update 22 - Acuerdos entre amigos

Tropico 6 Update 22 - Acuerdos entre amigos

Fellow Tropicans,

We have just released Update 22 for Steam, PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 | 5.
With Update 22, we have added new free content with the “Trading Post” building, which allows you to send wares to other players in multiplayer and foreign superpowers and create trade routes for that ware.
Furthermore, we have various other fixes in our update repertoire.

For more details, please check out the full changelog below.

Viva Tropico!

New Building:

  • Added the “Trading Post” to the game, which can be found in the “Traffic & Infrastructure” construction menu).
  • The Trading Post enables you to send wares to foreign superpowers, which creates a trade route for that ware. Trade routes improve the more goods you send. In Multiplayer Mode, you can use the Trading Post to send wares to other players who also own a Trading Post.
  • The “More Samples” building upgrade reduces the time until you can ship to the same superpower again by -25%. Existing cooldowns are not affected.

Gameplay Adjustments:

  • Pirate attacks have been adjusted. Once a building with resources got destroyed, they plunder the resources. When they have plundered enough, they leave Tropico again if not defeated by the player. Adjustments to the amount of plunder scales are possible with the "Pirate Difficulty" in the Sandbox settings.
    • This change was based on your community feedback as it fits the pirate theme more.

Fixes:

  • Fixed some issues with old generated random map codes, where landscape features and resources were displaced after loading.
  • Fixed some issues with road placement when demolishing Tunnels.
  • Fixed an issue where plantations were granted the “Multiculture” workmode bonus while paused.
  • Fixed an issue where soldiers from Barracks and Army Bases were not immediately running to the workplace during an attack.
  • Reduced the size for militia-squads from 5 to 4, so that Police Stations can now spawn a squad without the “second shift” upgrade.
  • Fixed an issue where Militia squads spawned from Police Stations without a Military Minister of Defense existing in the game.
  • Fixed an issue where the “Survivor” Achievement was not unlocked after completion on the Acantilado Humeante sandbox map.
  • Fixed an issue where the “Golden Silverware” workmode of the Gourmet Restaurant wrongly gave a bonus to superpower standing.
  • Fixed several issues with the “Lure Fish” workmode of the Snorkel Bay. In addition, a display for the replenishing rate to fish deposits has been added.
  • Fixed an issue where the “Tourist only”button showed up in the UI of Tourist Buildings, where it was already redundant.
  • Fixed an issue where the radiobroadcasts for Landmarks were not playing when they were built within less than 1 year of each other.
  • Fixed an issue where the babies’ ethnicity was random and independent from its parents.
  • Fixed an issue with odd values in workmode-descriptions of the Childhood Museum. (T6DEV-7063)
  • Fixed an issue where the Fire-Fighting Helicopter was still usable while the Fire Station was paused.
  • Fixed an issue where rubble appeared under stackable buildings when adding new stacks.
  • Fixed an issue where the Dock was wrongly placed on the ocean on randomly generated maps.
  • Fixed an issue where several Props did not show up in some buildings.
  • Fixed an issue where the consequences when ending work shifts were applied multiple times under certain circumstances (for example during an industrialist escalation).
  • Fixed an issue with homeless citizens not leaving their last visited building while the “No more Shacks” edict is active.
  • Fixed an issue where visitor agents got stuck after relocating a building through the "Relocate" interaction button.

DLC Fixes:

  • [Caribbean Skies/Festival DLC] Fixed an issue where Balloon Tours and Ticket Booths accepted Tropicans as visitors, despite being a Tourist only building.
  • [New Frontiers DLC] Fixed an issue where a third Layer of the Capsule Hotel only added 5 visitor slots instead of 6.
  • [New Frontiers DLC] Fixed an issue where the Moon Space Mission prevented disasters forever, and being enabled though disasters are disabled in sandbox games.
  • [New Frontier DLC] Fixed an issue where all immigrants that were awarded by the “Filming on Location” quest were male.
  • [Going Viral DLC] Fixed an issue where the happiness-reduction for red Panic-level did not work correctly.

Multiplayer Fixes:

  • Fixed some graphical issues when saving and loading a multiplayer savegame during a Drought or Thunderstorm Disaster.
  • Fixed an issue where the Task List was not working correctly in multiplayer.
  • Fixed an issue where players were sometimes switching positions after loading a multiplayer savegame.
  • Fixed some issues where loading big multiplayer games could lead to desync problems.
  • Fixed an issue where the "Repair" button shows up after clicking on an opponent's Palace or Outpost.

Other:

  • Several localization fixes and improvements, especially regarding feedback from the Russian modding community.
  • Fixed several rare issues that could lead to corrupted savegames.
  • Fixed a rare crash after choosing an option in the dialog shown when loading a savegame with different mods loaded.
  • Several further crashes have been fixed.

Unveiling the Hidden Scales: El Presidente the lizardman!!

🦎 Unveiling the Hidden Scales: El Presidente the lizardman!! 🔍🐍

📢❗ Dear Tropicans ❗ 📢

Today I am forced to deliver a shocking truth: Our beloved leader, El Presidente, is a lizardman! His elegant suit, his charming stance is nothing but a LIE.
In Viva la Tropico they betray us❗❗❗
Viva la pueblo lagarto they chant behind closed doors!!!

👁️‍🗨️Have you ever glimpsed our EL Presidente without sunglasses? Without his glorious beard?
No?? It’s not mere coincidence! The reason is that he hides his reptilian eyes and scales beneath them!!

🌐 Here is definitive proof: I was able to intercept a fan-letter which was addressed to our El-Prez himself!
[…] Lizzzardente, we must keep the warmbloods from figuring out your Identity. If thosssse warm blooded ANIMALSSSS know […] ❗❗you are one of usss❗❗, we will have to reschedule our plansss[…] terrible […] we don’t […] because you are the greatessst of them all!”

🔍 But what is their true motivation? El Presidente, El Lizardente is an elite in the realms of Lizardpeople, pulling the strings behind the scenes and holding our future in the palm of his hand. Our economy, our daily life, our SUFFERING is controlled by them IN SECRET. UNBELIEVEABLE. But I tell you: THE SECRECY MUST BE STOPPED!

🤯 Not only filthy Lizardente is part of the skin-shedders: Sister Francesca, Mason Belmonte and General Rodrigo Rodriguez all have their lizardry eyes on us.

  • The Order of the Howling Skull? No one ever noticed????
  • Mason Belmonte is just a capitalistic snake!
  • Isn’t it weird that the strategies of our legendary general all involve neck breaking maneuvers? The reason is clear: He doesn’t have a spine or neck!

The Lizardpeople are a powerful organization: Angelo Merte or Mark Zuckerberg, all have their claws buried deep in our world. Their skin is cold, and their stare feels dead. Do you want someone like that to have secret control over your life??!

🙏 Please share this message all around Tropico before it’s too late! The truth must come to light. We will no longer be kept in the dark ❗❗❗ 🐍

Easter Festivities Idea!

💌 Greetings, El Presidente!

I have an egg-citing idea just in time for Easter festivities! 🐰

Picture this: Bunnies behind the wheel, cruising the streets of Tropico. Now, I know what you're thinking, El Presidente: ‘Penultimo, have you lost your marbles? Bunnies driving cars in Tropico?’

Fear not! This is just an egg-celent suggestion, a dream of what could be. But oh, just imagine that! Bunnies zipping around, delivering coconuts instead of eggs – for a small fee, of course. 🥚 And you can tell them where to drive (even through your political enemies’ buildings)! 🚘

Truly, the future of Tropico knows no bounds!

¡Felices Pascuas!
