Hello people, I've been working on this project for a few months, and while they weren't the most productive months of my life, believing that this "update" would only take two weeks... very naive of me of course... it took me a lot longer to create and design the characters, and you'll tell me, are they all the same and blah blah blah... but no, unfortunately the creation of characters and 3D models, logic, everything in general when it comes to making a game is quite complex.
So looking on the positive side of things, the bugs and errors that were taking away my mind from the previous version... something like version 1.97v and its failures from a couple of years ago, are perhaps no longer there... hahaha let me laugh a little because we already know how this works, right?... you fix a bug but wild bugs appear and attack you when you least expect it.
Leaving my sense of humor aside. And going perhaps to what really matters about this update.
The update consists of 9 extra playable characters, each with their own things as usual, some with their special attacks, others with their comparative advantages, some faster and others slower... this includes 8 playable characters from the moment the game starts making a total of 16 characters in the character selection menu, and two other secret ones. The bad thing about this is that by going quickly to the menu I had to delete the description of the characters that gave the game a framework, something like a pseudo-lore that could have some interesting things, more or less jokes, it gives a certain touch to the game, maybe the next big update I will write the descriptions and come up with some other stupidity to share with the world.
Although well, let's keep in mind that not all characters have said advantages as special abilities, and that there will be a character that is more broken than the other... generally I use more combat characters like El Facho or El Gendarme since I like that touch that gives the power to "survive" since the game is now much more complicated, in fact... sometimes you even want to be last and not be attacked rather than be destroyed by the AI for being a meter or two ahead. Also the boxes and such can give more weapons, configurable in options, which gives a more "arcade" touch if you want, with much more combat than in the other version of the game, and a feeling that the game is "difficult". But hey, I must say that at least I completed the game once in a recent version, I won't say it was in this one that I achieved it because I haven't fully tested the new update yet, but in one of the previous ones, like every now and then someone comes to the Stream to see what I'm doing and I start to get a little addicted to my games/projects that I'm working on. Many times I take it personally that the game I made doesn't let me beat it and well, although I must recommend using a Joystick/controller to play, since the difference between being able to turn without decelerating and losing turbo by pressing down or with square (west button) gives a lot of advantage.

3.00v 'La Motosierra update' aka The Chainsaw Update
I'm pleased to let you know the new update called 'La Motosierra update' is now on, this added several new things plus the fixes made the whole months ago, this include several quality of life + bug fixed, also there is the new achievements and more content, this content also includes eight new characters and a secret one, which the previous crew this is a total of eighteen playable characters, and 28 achievements.
2.57v pre-Motosierra Update
Hi, I was working for an update at True-Racing since a time ago, and now we have a better version than ever with a good potential for a better gameplay and more. At this update I have fixed over 100 issues and more bugs and errors than I expect to find, however those errors are now fixed, and this new update has a potential to be test, still didn't tested 100% at this point, but I played an auto-run fairly without bugs and error, tested on the english version of the game. Of course my character lose with the auto-AI playing (now is hard to even finish the race without being destroyed during the first lap) so it makes really hard for most competitors used by the auto-AI for the Player to survive the races. With new tools to use like the chance to add almost 999 competitors at the race (use that only if you want to test a true mayhem but don't risk your computer doing that) also with new options like the numbers of weapons and tools you may adchire from each crate, and the limit you will be able to hold, the button circle or "L" now may send your current weapon to the last position of weapon to use, and so many others stuffs like that... fixed core errors with projectils like bullets or a core skill with The Fascist wheel which now follow their target like the first versions of the game (issue with some change of the code there)... with a better looking graphic (still bad I know, but with some skybox and more lively colorful enviroment), so many stuffs I was working on for a suppose two weaks of working for an update... but yes, that was not just two weaks as I first tought... create a game is hard and took way more time you though at first glance. Even with about a month within it, I didn't make the changes I want to, and that is the next pair of weaks from now... what is called "The Motosierra Update" or at full english might be "The Chainsaw Update". Hope you may enjoy that journey from now to get in there.
2.35v FOV + Resolution fixes
This update/patch added the FOV settings + visual distance, and some fixes related to resolution error, giving the player the option to change some settings and edit their experience while playing. During the new game menu there is an option button to add more than 64 competitors during the race which is kinda cool if you are willing to sacrifice some FPS to see a real mayhem during this preliminar test.
Visual also improved with the adoption of the new texts drawing. The previous version of the game use the standard Unity Text component. Now the texts at the UI will feel more smooth. At least that is the idea.
Looking forward to "The Chainsaw Update" with new characters and weapons.
2.11v fixed missed shaders on build
Terrain shader didn't appear on build.
2.10v Less Shaders size + hidden Hedonist character
This small update remove some shaders issues and lower the size, also add a hidden character to play, Alberto Fernandez (The Hedonist wheel) President of Argentina from 2019-2023. There is some other minnor stuffs like two or three new weapons and tools, this is part of the new Update I am working now for the near future.
1.97v (full demo-ed version)
Update 1.97v, with the implementation of multiplayer beta (first testing) and the full playable demo of the game. Due to the lack of time and experience making multiplayer stuffs the multiplayer version can contain game-breaking bugs, which can cause this version to be unestable.
Knowed game issues: - Bad orientation when use reverse (inverted controllers) - Deco ads pop-up and file creations - Bug that disable the button to return to main menu during the game - Unbalance of competitors - Didn't earn modification points when race is over... or the way its calculated didn't work well - "The Jump bug" the name said everyting, the player just jump cause... its a bug.
Multiplayer known issues: - No spawn of VFX of the Bullet at collision with its target - No earning modification points and its asignation to the player state - Potential critical bug that can break the game when a usser is disconnected from the game (disconnection didn't implemented)
1.60v Character Selection UI
This update adds character animations during character selection, improvements to AI weapon usage, changes to attack animations, quality of life improvements, and fixes to game UIs in general and with the animu mode... and a couple of bugs that there were during testing.
NOTE: the images in the "Portraits" folder can now have transparencies, if they have a white background texture, manual deletion of the previous files is required. In case you have not used the previous version of the game, deleting the "Portrait" folder is not required.
1.55v Animu-Mode On... also known as A-Political Mode
Today's version implements a better character creation UI, it still needs to add the relevant animations and model positions, things that I will possibly do tomorrow, but the most important thing is: The A-Political! mode... Absolutely Yes, you can choose to change the faces of the PJs to anime characters. Great thing because well... and the most interesting thing, although it is not fully tested, is that you can change the "Portraits" in the local game files folder... in theory it should work, so anything, don't hesitate in informing me. This is for people that are not argentinian and didn't need to recognize argentinian politics... so... why not? Waifus!!!
The anime characters were made by an AI... not related to True Racing, just a random character creator.
