Tunescape

Adjustable UI and much more

An update was just set live containing a bevy of changes.

First and foremost, I've added adjustable UI.
A better first-time user experience awaits. No longer will you be dropped in an oversize recliner in the middle of a strange art deco world and left to your own devices. No!

The default menu is now the browser, so you can jump right into viewing the latest shared tunescapes. And after viewing a tunescape, the menu will once again revert to the browser for selection of another to view.

In less technical terms, it's easier to use & understand now.

Startup changes

The latest build (0.1.1) starts you off at the help introduction screen if no immediate move is made to open or cycle the menu. The default menu has also been set to the browser now, so you can quickly jump right into finding new tunescapes to explore!

New Demo

As part of the latest update, the tunescape used in the sharing update promo can now be accessed from the 'Settings' window in Tunescape. It's impossible to get a sense of scale from a 2D video, so you'll want to check it out properly from inside. :)

Progress Report -- Big update coming soon!

The Sharing Update isn't far off! I've put together a progress report over on the website, detailing everything that's being upgraded and added. Obviously, the biggest addition will be the ability to share your Tunescapes and download others' creations to view (finally)!

Progress Report: The Sharing Update

Huge thanks to the early supporters of Tunescape, btw. If you haven't picked up a copy yet, do it soon, because the price will be going up with the release of The Sharing Update!

Update 0.0.851 Live

The latest update brings another round of bug fixes and minor cosmetic adjustments, as well as Oculus Dash support. But the bulk of the new content here is in the form of a demo Tunescape, which can be accessed from the Settings screen. It should help give you a few ideas about where you can start on your own creations.

Full release notes, as always, can be found at http://tunescapevr.com/release-notes/

Start Screen bug FIXED

Bug fix is live now. Apologies to anyone who got stuck at the start screen! If you still find you're having that issue, make sure your Steam client is running!

Start Screen bug

It's just come to our attention that a bug at the start screen could lock you out of progressing any further! Ack! We'll have a patch up for that within the hour. Thanks for your patience.

Update 0.0.84 Live

A patch update has been released to address a few launch issues. For details on fixes & known issues, please visit the Release Notes page here:

Share your Tunescapes!

A subreddit has been set up as a place where you can post links to share. This will be the best place to post and find Tunescapes from other creators until the in-app sharing browser is completed.
