In Turbo Kid, you play as The Kid, a lone warrior on a journey to cross the Wasteland in a retro-like exploration adventure featuring the over-the-top hysterical gore that made the movie it’s based on so much fun.
Inspired by legendary run-and-gun platformers like Mega Man X, Super Metroid, and Out of this World, Turbo Kid allows you to explore the different zones and defeat bosses in the order you see fit as you make choices that will affect the process of the game.

Hone your fighting and biking skills as you explore this ravaged post-apocalyptic amusement park filled with scoundrels and creeps who will stop at nothing to prevent you from achieving your goal.
You might also meet a few friends who’ll have tips and clues for you along your way.
Of course, the finished game will have many more zones to explore and features, including weapons, and powerups to help you on your quest. That being said, this demo will give you a good idea of the overall mood, fast-paced action, explosive gore, non-linear gameplay, and entertaining narrative you’ll find in the finished game.

Kickstarter Stretch Goal Announcement - In-Game Cassette Player Reveal
You’re in luck! Here’s a breakdown for you!
You will find cassettes containing one song each scattered throughout the Wasteland. At any point during your adventure, you’ll be able to open the cassette player sub-menu. New songs will be highlighted. Songs you haven’t found yet will appear as “??????????” in the sub-menu.
From the sub-menu, you’ll be able to play any of the cassettes you’ve found. After you’ve selected a track, you can either sit back and enjoy or go back to the game and listen to it as you play. Once the song you’ve selected ends, the regular music for the stage you find yourself in will resume automatically.
We will keep you updated on future developments for this and other features.

Here’s another minigame we’ll be adding to Turbo Kid thanks to our amazing Kickstarter backers.
Lightning Dome
There is only one rule in the Lightning Dome: THERE ARE NO RULES! Actually, that’s not true... Enter the competition by talking to the referee, all doors will lock around you as waves of enemies swarm the dome. Defeat all enemies as fast as possible (without dying) to receive a reward.

Kickstarter Stretch Goals Announcement - Mini-Games Reveal #2
Here we go again with some of the mini games you’ll be able to enjoy in Turbo Kid thanks to our amazing backers on Kickstarter!
Slashball league
This challenge will test the reflexes of even the most skilled hack-and-slasher! Once you’ve accepted the umpire’s challenge, a pitcher will start throwing objects in random directions. Hit as many projectiles as you can with your machete but be careful with your timing as getting hit by them will knock you back. The challenge will end once the pitcher is out of stuff to throw. A reward will be given to you by the umpire if you hit enough targets.
Shooting Range
Here, you’ll be able to assess your marksman skill levels with a simple but challenging task. Once you’ve accepted the farmer’s challenge, targets will start appearing around you. Shoot or slash as many targets as possible as fast as possible. If the farmer deems your effort worthy, a reward will await you.
