'Never Alone' Update Released
Hi! I'm very excited to release Turpedo's first major update "Never Alone"!
Single-Player
Meet Dori, Cousteau, El Draque, Prince Dakkar & Neptune! There's some competition in the water with 5 new bots, each a step up in difficulty.
5 New Mutations
These new mutations are unlocked as you defeat the bots in singleplayer.
Friendly Sealife - As a friend of fish, sealife no longer attacks you.
Stun Bubble - Your deflection bubble can now stun players for a few seconds.
Greased Guns - Your torpedoes now bounce off debris.
Dead Weight - Your harpoons stick into players, slowing and pulling them down.
Darts - A new torpedo type.
Various tweaks and bug fixes.
Torpedoes are now only 'armed' after a set distance & time. Making it much harder to accidentally destroy yourself. This does not apply when a torpedo hits a player.
Mine clusters are removed between rounds - fixing an issue where mine clusters from a previous round could damage players.
Airshield is now far more effective at pushing debris out of the way.
Camera shake has been reduced - especially for large mine explosions.
'Hoard' game mode renamed to 'Plunder'.
Abysall fish no longer does impact damage to players - this was never intended.
Wreck spawning should now spawn players together.
Tentacles can now be stunned.
Harpoon shrapnel now occurs when hitting players.
Less damage from shrapnel.
A number of fixes to text wrapping - especially for Spanish.
Reduced delay in ui displaying in some situations.
Developer Plays - Test Run
Some deep-sea duels! A short test run of the store page live stream - more news coming soon!

Quality Of Life Update
I've noticed some people misunderstanding the tutorial and the Hoard game mode. These improvements will hopefully address this and make the experience for new players smoother.

Tutorial clarity pass making it clear what buttons to press to proceed. No more getting stuck in tutorials!
Game mode flavour text added to beginning of rounds - reinforcing the game modes objective.
You can expect this update to be live within the week.
Survival Game Mode
A frequently requested feature has been a single player & cooperative survival game mode. Whilst this was out of the scope of the initial release it's something I really wanted to try out. I'll have more details to share in the coming weeks.
Demo Availability
The demo has been live since February - I really appreciate everyone who has tried it out. Keeping it up to date with the retail version takes time. Right now I need to focus on improving the base game so I'll be taking the demo offline. I hope to bring it back in the future!
Good hunting! Myles
