That's right! After over 2 years since the steam release of this game, I'm proud to finally say that a sequel that continues right where this game left off is set to release in just a few months!
Making a sequel to twilight town has always been in the back of my head, as a matter of fact, I wrote pages and pages of potential scenes and dialogue that would go into a sequel, I would even scout for artists who could closely replicate the beautiful style of this game. So trust me when I say that I have a deep respect for this game and I do want to give this the conclusion it deserves!
Along the way, I made an FPS game that was very fun to make and despite a few hurdles, proved to be very successful and was received very well among fans!
I decided that FPS games would be the direction my games take, at least for a little bit, but of course, I still always wanted to make a sequel to twilight town!
So naturally i thought I could make a sequel to twilight town while still retaining the direction I wanted to take for my new games, the result was a twilight town FPS game!
Making the sequel into an FPS game was not a decision took lightly, I understand that change in genre might be drastic, and due to the nature of it being an FPS game, the story line might take a backseat, but rest assured
The game will be amazing
Beloved characters like Ikuro and the girl WILL return
There will be a lot of charming and funny dialogue just like from the first game!
The story from the first game WILL finally have it's conclusion
I have most of the gameplay mechanics implemented and I can promise it's a lot of fun!

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well, the Japanese version of Twilight Town: A Cyberpunk Day In Life is here! If your steam language is set to Japanese, it should automatically be downloaded, if not, then right click the game in your steam library, go to properties, and select Japanese from the languages tab! You may need to restart steam to see the option.

Major Ending Update + Sale!
Hello everyone, I hope you're doing well. I am very happy that Twilight Town has been received well and enjoyed by many!
I personally read every single review and I do agree that the game did end a bit too abruptly. So today I just pushed an update that EXTENDS the ending and ties up some loose ends! While it's by no means a sequel, I do hope this will satisfy those who wanted more out of the game in the meantime!
Oh and did I mention this game is on SALE? its the perfect time to buy it if you've been waiting or to gift it to a friend!

Future of the game + Soundtrack Release!
Hello everyone, I'm very happy to see the reception for this game has been very positive, as a matter of fact, it's been so positive that almost everyone seems want a sequel to the game! And my answer to that is this:
I would LOVE to make a sequel to the game, however, as I'm sure you can guess, due to the assets in the game, such as the art and music being extremely high quality, a sequel would not be cheap to make. The game would need enough sales/popularity to justify spending the funds + time on a sequel. So you can further help the future of the game by buying the soundtrack, writing reviews, recommending it to friends, etc.
As a bonus, here is a piece of unused art that will be used in the sequel if there will be one!
If for whatever reason we don't meet the demands for a more expansive sequel. I am still open to making a continuation of the story, however it would have to obviously be cut down and re-use assets from the game (basically it would just be a sort of "extended" version of the base game sold as DLC).
So yeah! I would be most greatful if you all would continue to show your support for the game, such as by buying the newly released soundtrack or gifting it to a friend, etc.
