A new build of TY2 is now available.
This is a bug fix build, the most important of which being the fix to fonts for non-English subtitles. Other fixes are:
ART: Improved textures for Dunny, Pillar and Roadtrain
AUDIO: Fixed cutscenes playing the menu select sound at the start of the cutscene. Also fixes the unwanted sound when opening the pause menu.
GRAPHICS: fix vanishing vines and stretchy terrain bug - visible in Canopy Capers. Caused by first material of static batches using the same material as a skinned model immediately before it.
GRAPHICS: Fix active chunk selection - doesn't use not-visible chunks - stops shadow flicker issues (visible in Canopy Capers)
MISC: Removed some debug messages that were appearing in retail builds incorrectly.
TRANSLATIONS: Fix for font so that subtitles/UI should display correct characters in non-English languages
Any issues, please let us know!
Cheers

We are proud to announce that TY the Tasmanian Tiger 2: Bush Rescue has been released from Early Access!
Additionally, we've now made available the soundtrack for the game as DLC, which you can find here:
http://store.steampowered.com/app/763590/TY_the_Tasmanian_Tiger_2_Soundtrack/
We have also set up Digital Deluxe and Digitial Deluxe upgrade bundles; which will save you 5% if you buy the game and the soundtrack (or upgrade your game to include the soundtrack DLC) (these may take a few minutes to appear on Steam).
Thank you to everybody who has helped us throughout this process. Your feedback, bug reports and your patience with us have been appreciated. If you like the game and have enjoyed it, please leave us a review - every little bit helps!
We'll be keeping an eye on things after the release to make sure things run smoothly (hopefully, there won't be any problems) and then we'll be back early in 2018, hopefully with some new things to share with you.
Thank you again. You're all awesome.

TY2 Exiting Early Access Information + build r3040_v082 released to EXPERIMENTAL
Hey all,
We have some exciting news for you all!
Unless there is an unexpected problem, TY the Tasmanian Tiger 2: Bush Rescue, will release from Early Access early next week!
At this point the price of the game will increase to $14.99USD (and equivalent prices across other currencies).
As has been our policy for our previous releases, we will not be discounting the game for any sales for at least 3 months post-exit of Early Access. This is to ensure that the people who have supported us throughout Early Access are not in any way price disadvantaged.
Lastly, the TY2 soundtrack will become available for purchase when the game leaves Early Access, and we expect to shortly thereafter set up appropriate Bundles.
Then we're going to go see The Last Jedi.
In the drive to the v1.00 release, we have also released a new build on to the EXPERIMENTAL branch!
This build has a variety of small fixes, as well as language translation updates for all languages.
Any feedback on breaking issues that would effect the full launch would be, as normal, greatly appreciated.
Thank you to everybody who has been part of this journey so far. Hopefully we'll have some more good news for you, early in 2018.
Cheers!
Lindsay
r3040_v082 Changes
ART: Up-res for textures for several actors (Clarence, Bruce, Orchid,
Snappy, Bruno, Red, Boonie, Goannas)
AUDIO: Projectiles now play the targets hit sound if needed.
AUDIO: The thermo-bunyip trigged switches in Wulli Wulli Oil Rig now play a sound when hit by the water from the thermo bunyip.
CONTROLS: Both analog sticks on the controller can now control the doomerang
CRASH: fix for some rendering issues that can cause driver crashes from primitive render calls.
GRAPHICS: Fixed the underwater fog effect
LOCALIZATOIN: Updated all French, German, Spanish, Italian, Swedish and Danish lines that required translations.... unless we missed any! :)
UI: Boomerang Hud - gamepad direction pointer is hidden when not using gamepad as current input.
UI: NoisyButtonGroup, ScrollingButtonGroup - play sound when changing selected item using the mouse.
UI: Pause Menu keyboard and mouse bindings - moved the "Reset to Default" and "Back" buttons upwards so they are onscreen.
UI: Updated the steam and opengl messages to refer to "TY the Tasmanian Tiger 2".
VIDEOS: Updated the videos in the extras menu of the main menu. The 2003 attract video is our original video from E3 2003, and contains footage of some of the content that didn't make the final cut. I don't believe that this video will have been seen by the general public previously. The 2004 Attract video is the video that was in the original release of the game. These are (quite obviously) lower quality than what people are used to these days; but they are the highest quality that we have!

TY2 Build r2920_v077 released on EXPERIMENTAL
Hi all,
A new build of TY2 is now available on EXPERIMENTAL.
There are a of changes in this build. Many of these are not noticable in terms of what is on screen - but there have been multiple optimizations and performance improvements, which will hopefully mean a much more stable framerate throughout the game!
Additionally, we have hopefully fixed the issue some players were having with the game rendering only in the top left corner of screen, in full screen mode.
Lastly, we've decided to remove the rang shops and replaced them with a bunch of lootboxes. Every kart race you race you've got a chance to earn a lootbox if you beat your best time, or you can purchase the lootboxes for the low, low price of $1.99USD each!
;)
(as this is the internet I will now make sure it's clear that the above is a joke, we have not removed the rang shops, there are no lootboxes to purchase as microtransactions).
Please check out the changes below, and let us know any problems.
At this stage our intention is to finalize the last few audio updates we have planned, update the language translations, then we will be looking to exit Early Access. Once these plans have been finalized, we'll make sure we do a post to let everybody know the timing, what's happening with the price post Early Access, etc (same as we did with TY1).
Almost there!
Cheers
