Tyler: Model 005

A-V1.68 Released! Plus a couple of questions to you.

This update completes the game mechanics behind Tyler: Model 005
This being said we will continue to fix any issues and balance out controls if needed.

Before I start listing the changes we have a question for the players regarding the quest hint system.

for those who would like to jump right in and test this mode here is were to find the first tower (The Blockade) Make your way to the bathroom, as you go through the door you will see a shelf next to the toilet, the blockage tower can be found there.

Alpha 1.4 Notes

Hi community

Alpha 1.4 has just been released that fixes a few issues and adds performance enhancements.

Fixes.

  • Conrad AI audio (No longer has repeating hum)
  • Conrad AI (Improved path finding and recalculation)

Graphics.

  • As we are at the stage of building the house with a 1970 look and feel
we came across a few issues when it come to lighting (Neon Tubes, skylights),
so we have come up with a fully dynamic area light.

This has also gave us the ability to re-light the the 1950s environment with more detail (Light under cracks of doors, tube light in the fridge and so on)

Performance.

  • Volumetric lighting is expensive for the GPU and can take a lot of rendering time, Previous versions on Tyler ran on a sample count of 16 but has now been reduced down to only 4.

Rendering Result.

Thanks for your patience why we finish the 1970s build.
