Important Information Regarding the „Unity 3D Webplayer not found” - Message
In the Steam-version of UFO Online as well as in the Chrome-Version 42 the game respectively the browser report a missing Unity 3D Web player and advises to download and install the plugin. After the installation of the plugin the message returns and the game cannot be continued.

Explanation:
UFO Online uses the Unity 3D Web player i.a. to display the 3D-Scenes in battles. Google has discontinued the support for NPAPI plugins from version 42 on, including the Unity 3D Web player. This affects the Steam-version of UFO Online, which is using components of the Chrome-Browser. This circumstance is final and cannot be fixed from our side. UFO Online will no longer be available on Steam and in Chrome-browsers starting from version 42.

Do you have a Steam-version and want to continue playing with your save game on play.ufoonline.de? Please contact the support on ufosteam@funatics.de and send us your hero name.

We advise browser players to use The Mozilla Firefox browser for playing UFO Online.

Funatics Software announces the official launch of strategy MMOG „UFO Online: Fight for Earth“ and the premiere on Steam. Following an extended beta phase the balancing and matchmaking have been thoroughly reworked. Exclusive to Steam are the client version of the game and the starter / gold / premium packages.
