  • Fixes for the bosses crashes
  • Another Predelirium softlock that we missed on previous patch
  • Another fix on the tutorial, to prevent avoiding the drink part
  • Fixed game slot time counter not being precise
  • A catalan localization errata

Patch v1.0.4 - The final patch (we hope!)
So, after seeing many youtubers and reviews, reading through your messages and listening to our non-gamer family members, we hit the end of the road. This is the last Steam patch for Ugly!
Unless something major appears, of course, in which case we will still care for you.
We don't expect it to happen anyway *fingers-crossed*.

For the record:

  • Added UI support for Sony and Nintendo controllers.
  • Fixed a couple level design softlocks in Part 2.
  • Fixed a hole in a wall in the tutorial. (Thank you speedrun community :D )
  • Added a bit more of that X substance called love and care.

Patch 1.0.3
This patch contains too many things that you wouldn't even notice, but we want this game to be so perfect that we needed to fix them. We care for you, you are beautiful :)


  • Visual updates to some rooms and hubs
  • Balancing on some bosses
  • Fixed bug where Erasing a completed game slot would not erase the special portrait until a New Game was started on that slot
  • Added a missing "ladder entity" in a room where it was missing
  • Adjust some cameras focus and trigger zones

Patch v1.0.2 Bugfixing

  • Fix Projections Achievements not unlocking.
  • Balance some Deliriums platforming difficulty (The crazy rooms after the 1st ending!)
  • Adjust climbable areas (Some ladders were reached too easily!)
  • Fix a bug where the controls would remain locked after defeating a boss.
  • Visual updates to make some puzzles clearer.
  • Revisit a room where you could get softlocked.


We are sorry to announce that we could not make the achievements be fixed retrospectively.
You will have to walk again to some rooms and actively unlock them. Sorry for the inconveniences!

  • Minor tutorial tweaks to enhance the experience
  • Reorder the ControlsOverlay (in the corner of the screen) to they match the position with the default controller buttons OR keyboard keys
