Dear admirals and fellow players of Ultimate Admiral: Dreadnoughts,
We promised that we would announce something special. So, we are very glad to inform you that we currently develop a Multiplayer DLC for Ultimate Admiral: Dreadnoughts!
We have actually made good progress so far and now we are ready to share it with a small number of players. We will invite up to 100 players to play the Closed Beta of Ultimate Admiral: Dreadnoughts.

Closed Beta Requirements:
You need to own the base game of “Ultimate Admiral: Dreadnoughts”. The beta cannot function without the base game.
Your Steam account must not be private, so that we can evaluate your request.

After reading your request, if it meets the requirements, we will send as soon as possible a Steam Key via private message in your Steam account. Due to Steam restrictions, you will have to accept the friend request of developer “DARTIS” (me) to be able to communicate via PM.
Players with a lot of gameplay hours will be chosen in priority. Please note that we have a limited amount of keys, so depending on user demand, we will stop sending keys without further notice.

Important Notes:
The multiplayer DLC of “Ultimate Admiral: Dreadnoughts” currently still needs work, includes bugs, inconsistencies and is not fully updated with the main game content of 3D models. The servers may be dysfunctional or often get repairs. We are aware of those problems but you can report what creates a big issue for you, so we can prioritize our development work accordingly.
Your saved designs and leaderboard score may be reset several times and will not function in the final game.
The keys you will receive will expire prior to the full release when the testing is no longer needed. We may share free keys to players who will help us greatly in the testing processes.
There is no strict NDA. This means that there is no restriction in posting feedback, images, videos about the new multiplayer version. However, we can and we will cancel the key immediately for everyone that will execute any form of abuse versus other players, cheating, illegal activity etc.

Dear admirals,
You may now receive a new update which includes the following:
Optimization Update v1.5.1.1 - Balanced the accuracy system, so that the difference of accuracy between short barrel and long barrel length guns is not as vast as before, simulating better the effects of gun barrel erosion. In certain cases the extreme length of the barrel will be overall not as effective for accuracy at long ranges. The gun length for your designs should be now offering more options, than forcing you to maximize the length and become overpowered vs the AI. - Adjusted the Battle AI to the new accuracy system. - Increased slightly the hull structure strength of ships (hitpoints). - Fixed potential bugs of the campaign, mostly caused to players who play with edited game files that negate the submarine effects and causing errors that would not happen . - Fixed save system that had become broken with the new division logic system and caused saves of custom battles and naval academy battles to become reset after game relaunch. - Further auto-design optimizations. - Minor other fixes.

Hello fellow admirals,
We had to respond to your continuous feedback regarding some remaining issues of the game. The following few but very important improvements are offered:
Optimization Update v1.5.1.0* - Further optimized processes to prevent potential bugs caused by UI update or targeting. - Battle AI adjustments. - Fixed insane funds bonus given to player when making his own fleet at the start of campaign. Now it is time to play truly fair vs the AI in campaign (not hunt it down with countless premade BB at the start of the campaign). This change will affect only new campaigns when you choose to design your own fleet and is also an aid for new players because they could make so many ships that initially their economy would not be able to support them.
Very soon we will announce something that should excite most of you that currently enjoy Ultimate Admiral: Dreadnoughts.

We have fixed and improved further things which you have recently mentioned in your feedback. Please read:
Optimization Update v1.5.0.9 - Further fixes/optimizations addressing cases that could cause ships to not be able to move or freeze due to a bug or not responding to commands. Players who anticipate such issues, please check in your game settings to limit the fps or enable VSync or check your graphic card settings to not overclock. - Fixed repeated requests for alliance by nations who are at war with an ally. Those nations will have a limit of relations up to 50 during their war status with an ally so they will not be able to ask for an invalid alliance with a friend of their enemy. - Fixed old issues causing a nation to dissolve prematurely due to economic collapse. The problem became evident after the latest improvements in the transport capacity mechanics and now the campaign's economy should be at its best state ever. - Improved Battle AI overall, to keep a decisive shooting/attacking range. - Improved targeting mechanics, especially the targeting from the side guns. Ships should auto-aim even more efficiently.

Hello Admirals,
We have improved the game with the following:
Optimization Update v1.5.0.8 - Further battle fps optimization. Fixed lag caused due to UI refresh when selecting a ship. Other optimizations increase the battle fps smoothness, even when a battle includes many ships. Note: We have investigated and seen a freeze issue when loading modified versions of the game. Please do not report bugs to us when you modify in any way the game files because it is not helpful at all. - Improved AI division logic. AI ships will now more actively protect the transports. Scout/Screen divisions will maintain a safer distance from enemies and move closer to the main formation. - Reduced GDP growth penalty due to war and increased the impact of Transport Capacity losses in GDP Growth. As a result, wars will not suddenly impact negatively a player but transport losses will be more severe to growth, especially to players who neglect guarding their seas and choose to make one unrealistic huge fleet of battleships to win every battle engagement. - Improved Transport Capacity gain or loss according to GDP to be more dynamic. - Submarines became much more capable in hurting the transports and to defend themselves. Submarines remain fragile vs surface ships with good ASW and depth charges but their strategic role is now in the proper base. - Balanced Campaign AI to be more productive overall. - Balanced ship pitch/roll mechanics. Previously the small ships could roll too much. - Balanced guns friendly fire mechanics to not be so strict as before, to evaluate more accurately when to make guns not fire when friendlies are close. - Fixed minor border issues in the region of west Africa. - Further auto-design optimizations. - Other minor improvements.

We offer a small update which should definitely improve your overall gameplay experience. The following three things are made:
Optimization Update v1.5.0.7 - Targeting optimizations, affecting battle fps positively, also preventing some rare memory issues in low-end systems. - Further improvement of torpedo friendly fire mechanics to work better with the new division logic. - Fixed inconsistent oil resources calculations which could create an overflow of oil for all major nations. This fix will affect your saves but in most cases it will be a positive change, since your enemies will not be so powerful financially without reason.

We had to focus on your latest feedback about the campaign's economy and offer necessary adjustments. Furthermore, we offer a new feature asked by many, the possibility to refit ships received as war reparations. This ability will function only on new ship prizes.
Optimization Update v1.5.0.5 - Further campaign's economy and AI adjustments, addressing cases of too high or too low GDP growth. Oil resources will have a significant impact on growth, income, refueling and ammo replenishment. - Added the ability to refit ships that were received as reparations. - Optimization: Smoothened Cpu processes that could, in some system cases, cause freezes due to performance slow down.

Note: It is found an UI issue when you press the "Leave Battle" button not during battle but when a battle ends in the after battle interface. It causes a fatal code exception which eventually will make the game to stall after some time and if you play a battle the ships will freeze (It may be caused by other actions as well). This problem should be happening not so often. We will address it as soon as possible. You will help us in your reports if you mention what were your prior actions before starting a battle where you anticipate frozen ships.
