Share your spring levels with us!
The sun is shining, the animals are shedding and the punching flowers are blooming!
They're all signs that we're looking for your spring themed levels to feature on the front page of the in-game LevelNET (the computer down the well).
Share your themed level codes by 10am EST on April 1st (not a joke) and we'll feature 15 of them in the weeks following.
Here are a couple of prompts to put some spring in your step:
- Flowers
- Bunnies
- Easter eggs
- Passover Seder plate
- Ramadan lanterns
And here are a few examples of what we featured last year:
To publish a custom level, go into Free Play mode and make your level. Then open the Menu, go to Save and Share Level, save your level Online as a Public level, and Publish to get the shareable level code.

We want YOUR Valentine's Day Levels to Feature in Ultimate Chicken Horse
Is love in the air, or is it just flaming tennis balls?
It feels like March 2020 was just the other day, and yet here we are almost at Valentine's Day in 2021 already!
We're looking to spread the love by featuring your Valentine's themed levels in a couple of weeks, so please send us your themed level codes by 10am EST on February 12, 2021! We'll pick up to 15 of them to be featured on the front page of the LevelNET in-game (the computer when you go down the well).
Here are a few prompts to get you started:
- Flowers
- Chocolate
- Hearts
- Pink
- Red
- Cupid

To make a custom level, go into Free Play Mode then open the Menu. Go to Save and Share Level, save your level Online as a Public level, and Publish to get the shareable level code.

The Featured tab in Ultimate Chicken Horse has been updated to showcase 15 of your wintery and festive levels!
We want to thank everyone who sent their levels. There were tons of fantastic submissions! So many, in fact, that we'll be featuring more of them throughout the month of January. So if you didn't make the cut for today, keep an eye out!
Note that all of Clever Endeavour will be on vacation for the next two weeks, so there will not be the regular Feature Friday updates in that period.
We also want to take a moment to thank you all for brightening our year. The creativity, enthusiasm and positivity of the Ultimate Chicken Horse community is a gift that keeps on giving, and we're all incredibly thankful for it. <3

We want to feature YOUR Winter-themed levels in Ultimate Chicken Horse!
Hello Ultimate Animals!
Winter is rapidly approaching for us in the Northern hemisphere, so we’re getting ready to celebrate the Holidays and the New Year. To do so, we would like to feature YOUR Winter-themed levels in Ultimate Chicken Horse at the end of December!
Here are some examples of what we’re looking for:
- Candy canes, hot chocolate, and gingerbread houses
- Scarves, mittens, and tuques
- Skis, sleds, and ice skates
- Igloos, snow forts, and snowmen
- Snowy and icy landscapes
- Polar bears and penguins
- Santa Claus, elves, and reindeers
- Christmas trees, stockings, and presents
- Menorahs and dreidels
As an example, here are the levels we featured last year:
Remember: You can make custom levels in Free Play mode. Then open the Menu, go to Save and Share Level, save your level Online as a Public level, and Publish to get the shareable level code!
15 levels will be selected and put up on the Featured tab on Friday December 18th. We're interested in both Party levels and Challenge levels.
To submit your level, comment here with the level code, and make sure that the level is Published. Do it before December 18th for a chance to be featured in Ultimate Chicken Horse!

Nominate Ultimate Chicken Horse for the Labor of Love Award!
Hello, Ultimate Animals!
As the longest year in our mortal existence comes to an end, the time has come to celebrate with the 2020 edition of the Steam Awards!
Most of the awards are (rightfully) dedicated to games that came out this past year, with the unique exception of the Labor of Love Award. That one is reserved for games that have been out for a while now, but which the devs continue to nurture and support.
Though it feels like a lifetime ago now, our big A-cobra-tic Update came out in March this year, on the 4th anniversary of the game. If you have enjoyed this update, we'd ask you to consider nominating Ultimate Chicken Horse for the Labor of Love Award!
You might also be happy to hear that, despite the fact that we are now mostly focusing our energy on prototyping new projects, we do have plans for a small content update early next year! As usual, it will be absolutely free, and available to all.
We want to thank you for your continued support and enthusiasm for Ultimate Chicken Horse. We feel truly blessed to have such a wonderful community.
