Halloween Event Details
As last year, we're introducing a haunted "Jackson National Park" map. It's a separate from our classic Jackson Park, because - we get it, not all anglers are into the creepy-crawly stuff. This map's decked out with special visuals, eerie sounds, and yeah, a few things to send a chill down your spine. At the heart of it, it's all about the fishing, right? And to spice things up, we've dropped a Zombie Bass fish in there. Catch it, and you might get some epic rewards!
Plus, there are two super achievements waiting for you. What are they? Well... you'll have to dive in and find out. 😉You can read more about Halloween Event > HERE < .

Ps. All Zombie Bass has a special XP/Cash boost. So besides catching this awful fish for a reward, you also get a huge boost! So if you are looking for a place where you can level up fast - this will be a great place!
Ps2. We will release the beta a bit late but it will contain more features: a new audio system, a new saves system + sandbox mode.

Hello everyone, we just released the newest update that contains some important fixes, mostly for fishing behavior and their unusual jumping and sticking during reeling in.
It's been a while since the last fixes but we should release more frequent patches starting end of October. Right now we are working on fixing for example:
Player camera systems
Audio system
New game-saves system (this one was the big struggle)
Fish System (that one is a complex task, doing this include also influence on Drag, Stamina, Durability, and general "fishing" gameplay - so it takes a lot of time to rework this properly).
We had a brainstorm this week and we listed on UFS2 Trello all the upcoming things that will be available in the game or that are broken and need reworks.
Besides pure "programming" work we are also working on new maps, like Alaska where you will be able to catch a lot of great fish like Dolly Varden.
But besides that...:)
Public Beta
As you already know some of the systems need to be reworked which can cause sometimes unexpected issues. For those who would like to try new but unstable updates, we prepared a beta branch where we will provide updates that are in the advanced stage but still need some polishing.
Be aware that BETA builds can cause some issues with your inventory or the game can crash but we will do updates once we receive any feedback from you regarding BETA issues.
The first BETA build should be available probably next week and we will drop their new Save System.

We just released an update that should fix some of the most annoying things that were reported for last 3-4 weeks.
If you still have any issues with fish that jump in the sky, please report this to us.
We would like to let you know that all these issues are related to the old fish system. The one we are working on right now should eliminate all issues related to fish movement.

Halloween Edition 2023
Hello Everyone, this Halloween, we will continue our special tradition with a festive event where you can catch Zombie fish, achieve extraordinary feats, and win a distinct rod, reel & float.
Though the core event remains familiar from 2022, you'll spot some visual tweaks on the maps for a renewed experience.
Event Details
As a Halloween treat, we've refreshed our special map, "Jackson National Park - Halloween", distinct from the conventional Jackson Park map. We know the Halloween ambiance isn't everyone's cup of tea, so we made sure the two maps remain separate.
The map retains its special visuals and sounds, accompanied by a few eerie surprises. But let's not forget our main aim – fishing! Dive into the event waters to hook the Zombie Bass fish, and bag some exclusive rewards for your efforts.

Known issues
We are aware of fish-related issues that stop their movement and stay in one place without the possibility to reel them in. Right now the temporary workaround is to manipulate reel drag when that happens.

NEW: Stamina drop per second is now calculated based on fish weight and reel drag.

Fixed the display of task progress on the map (F3) when daily tasks have been completed.
Removed the display shortcuts for money in PlayerHeader (e.g., K, M). Now the whole amount is displayed.
Corrected the display of the active tile for Fishpedia on the map (UI/UX).

Slightly enhanced the colors of water, underwater, and PP.

Working on Stamina update
We are also aiming to release today another update for Stamina. It won't be a reworked feature but a temporary fix that should allow you to catch the biggest fish in the game in enjoyable time - and what is most importantly to take them out and add to your trophies finally.
We will write more about this temporary fix once it is out. We are working to release it today but can't promise it will be 100%.
