'Ultra Age PC' Global Launching Live Stream!
The high-speed action "Ultra Age" of indie game company Next Stage and graphic consulting company Visual Darts launched globally on Steam on April 27 with a change.
In commemoration of the launch, we have prepared a time to meet global gamers through streaming the changes and features of "Ultra Age PC" with developer Next Stage.

Improvements of PC version
- Improved graphics, stable FPS experience 'Ultra Age' uses Unreal Engine 4 to express a realistic future world and environment, and giving to gamers a strong sense of immersion. The PC version improves overall background and chapter graphics and improves appearance quality. Some sections have developed lighting and post-processing effects, as well as improved the appearance of the main character 'Age'. FPS remains stable for 60 frames, even in various environments in the game. We also added graphics, frames, and options for a variety of PC environments.
- More comfortably, play to emphasize the fun of action 'Ultra Age' allows you to continue many combos with fast, stylish actions with numerous blades. We've improved the difficulty system to allow more gamers can play and refined the difficulty of the game and the elements that unreasonable in the play process. We've also added save points and energy crystals for recovery.
- Re-record all voices in the game for immersive play For the release of the PC version, we re-recorded 4,407 words and all 815 English and Japanese voices in the game. By expressing more realistic expressions to fit the situation, gamers can play more immersive games.
Ultra Age slashes its way onto Steam on April 28th!
Mark your calendars! Ultra Age will be released on Steam on April 28th!
The Steam version will incorporate a number of improvements over its previous release on consoles. Graphically, the overall quality of backgrounds in all chapters of the game will be improved, including an overhaul of the appearance of the main character, Age. We have also improved the framerate, added graphics options, adjusted the level design and difficulty, and fixed some aspects of gameplay for a more comfortable experience!
The English and Japanese voiceovers have been completely re-recorded to increase the immersive feeling of the game. Bug fixes and various in-game options for PC users have also been added.
Developer Next Stage / Visual Dart have also announced that in addition to general improvements, they are preparing a free DLC to enrich the way the game is played. The DLC will provide content for players who have cleared the story mode of the game, such as logged game play, new character growth methods with various choices, the addition of collector elements, and more. The DLC will be released for free this summer!

Ultra Age is a high-speed action title developed by Korea-based indie game company Next Stage and graphic specialist company Visual Dart. In development for over four years, Ultra Age was released for PlayStation®4 and Nintendo Switch™ on September 9th, 2021. Developed with Unreal Engine 4, Ultra Age attracted considerable attention at the time of its console release, showing excellent action and gameplay elements that push the boundaries of indie games.
