Update Notes for October 23rd - Improvements, Balancing, & Bug Fixes!
Important: Easy Mode optimizations - Time flies slower so less pressure - Anling’s symptoms stay way shorter than before
Important: Fixed the issue that controller tips appear when there’s no controller connected
Combat fine-tuning (still WIP): - Anling won’t accidentally attack to the opposite direction - Target Lock is improved - you won’t lock unexpected targets
Fixed various balance issues with Disassemble, Recycle and Enhancement of the tools / weapons
Fixed the issue that Cody still easily gets shocked by zombies even after his skill upgraded
Other fixes - Some text issues - Fixed the bug in which the crowbar would disappear when used on the Factory gate - Some minor issues with Cody’s skills

And…..We’re LIVE!
Greetings everyone from all of us at Vinamals and Skystone!
As you may have noticed, we’re now live in Early Access and it’s been quite the journey getting here.
Many of you might have seen us at E3 in 2019 being revealed by Greg Miller/Kinda funny games.
From then on we’ve been hard at work getting the game up to par as folks have some pretty lofty expectations, including ourselves!
We’ve had a few festivals here on steam (which have been AMAZING) and of course a few alpha test windows which has helped us immensely, especially with the incredibly valuable feedback you’ve all provided.
This is why we are going into Early Access. We need your help in getting the game to the next level and ensuring Cody and Anling's story is a must-have experience.
We’re looking forward to everyone's continued support, feedback, and also in helping spread the word about our game! (This is greatly appreciated!!!)
That said, please join us all through the week as we have live streams (one coming on release day), ama’s, and all sorts of fun in discord.
Oh, and a contest or two as we know folks would love to be a zombie...Stay Tuned!
An Update on Translations from Vanimals and Skystone!
Due to Early Access, we haven’t had time to get all translations in and are using AI/Machine learning for this. Please also keep in mind that the text and wording are constantly changing throughout EA. This means that the translations will be far from perfect and will constantly require updating.
We know that isn’t ideal, but with your support, we can get things better! Join us in discord to ask how you can help!
Translations will be added in a Day 2 or Day 3 patch for the following languages: French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, and Korean. The translations will not affect every part of the game at this stage but we'll be adding more as fast as possible.
Undying Enters Early Access October 19th!
Undying will be going live in Early Access on the 19th of October (super soon!).
Join us in creating the best version of Undying possible by joining the development team as we go through Early Access.
So as many already know, we’ve pushed back the release window to the fall (hopefully no further changes!) and have been hard at work on getting the game to where it needs to be.
With that in mind, we’ve had our current demo version out in the wild for players to experience since the spring Steam Festival...so it’s long overdue for an update!

One of our biggest sources of feedback has been from you all checking out the demo, reaching out to us be it here or on Discord (seriously join us there) to let us know your thoughts, concerns, and ideas for the game.

The soundtrack has been one of the most complimented features of Undying over the years we've shown the game off. It has received such tremendous support we decided to give two tracks from the game's final soundtrack as free DLC!
