Major Update: Full Steam Deck support

Major Update

We have created a new version of Unforeseen Incidents that can be played with the gamepad and has passed Valve's Steam Deck review. This version has many changes to the UI and to the game itself and the code has been optimized heavily. So all in all: have fun and stay healthy!

Features

  • Controller support added
  • Compatible with Steam Deck
  • UI update for menues, since they didn't work with a controller before
  • Various bug fixes
  • Heavy reduction in file size due to better compression. This is also the main reason for the relatively big download size of the update, but it will actually save disk space on your machine.

Tool-Fanatic Protagonists Bundle

Tool-Fanatic Protagonists Bundle

Harper (Unforeseen Incidents) loves his Multitool and he's able to repair almost anything with it.
Despite living in the 50th century, Henry (Mutropolis) is old-fashioned and prefers a good old trowel for his archaeological adventures.
They're both a bit nerdy about their tools.

Mutropolis has launched

MUTROPOLIS is a lovely sci-fi adventure set on the abandoned Planet Earth. Play as Henry Dijon (hero, nerd, detective) in search of a legendary lost city. Uncover weird ancient artifacts. And PLEASE don’t get obliterated by an ageless evil. You’ve been warned.

After five years of hard work by Bea and Pablo (Pirita Studio, Madrid) the new mystery point & click adventure Mutropolis finally has launched. Here are some reactions by the press the product has received:

If you like Unforeseen Incidents you can nominate it for the Steam Awards as "Game of The Year" right here (we know that "Most fun with a multitool" would be more appropriate but unfortunately this is not a choice they offer).

There is a public voting going on Game Debate where Unforeseen Incidents is one of the four nominees for Adventure Game Of The Year 2018.
See here https://www.game-debate.com/awards/2018/best-adventure

The Art of Unforeseen Incidents

The Art of Unforeseen Incidents is a 139 pages PDF - it was a crazy ride, with ups and downs.
The style of Unforeseen Incidents evolved a lot over time, as you can see by looking at the really old artwork from back when work on the game started. Throughout the artist's studies, he did a lot of illustrative work and, being inspired by the work of Ian McQue and Robert Valley, he came up with his very own style.
