Unhack 2 is the most challenging project I have produced, but at last, I am happy to announce the game will be released next week on the 12th. The unhacker, with next gen AI Neonya by his side, will battle Program X and her army of clones. I hope you will find the journey worthwhile.

Gameplay returns in Unhack 2
Hi everyone ːweedywowː! Hope you are doing all right. Well, I imagine just about everyone will be happy with this piece of Unhack 2 news—I have decided to replace the password segments with proper minigames.
In games like Portal 2, there are easter eggs that require you to look up websites, decipher audio clips etc. They are so cool to me, and that was when I wanted to aim for. The problem is, I was unable to make it fit into the narrative. It just made no sense. Also, having to constantly leave the game is annoying, and when you do find that passcode, it does not feel rewarding at all. For the past few months, I have tried several different approaches, but they have all failed. Although I still have plans to explore this idea again in a different form, I have decided Unhack 2 is not the place to be doing that.
So yes, I will be bringing back minigame segments, but I want to manage expectations as well. Unhack 2 is still more narrative focused than the first game, so the gameplay this time around will be more basic. Unhack 1, despite its short length, actually took a significant number of hours to produce.
The truth is, Unhack 2 is hindering my big picture plans in so many ways. The subject matter turned out to be fairly complex, so I had to do tons of rewriting and edits, not to mention more research than I had anticipated (even though it is still entertainment above all else). That, combined with all the game design failures I have struggled through, mean other projects are falling behind as well. If I want to keep producing games, I think it will be best for me to get used to this process. As long as I am working every day, I can live with the setbacks I keep stumbling into.
I will most likely release a new demo of Unhack 2 before the official release, so players will have a chance to check things out then. At worst, a demo should be launched on Steam alongside the full game. The script has been heavily revised in the past six or so months, so even if you have already played the demo, I highly recommend checking out the updated version when that becomes available.

Japanese translation patch released for Unhack
Hello everyone. kagerou01gata over in Japan has kindly translated Unhack into Japanese for us! The patch is available here.
Without Within 1 and 2 were both translated by paid companies, so this is the first fan translation I have received, and I am really grateful for it. We are living in such a wonderful era, where gamers are able to support one another like this.

Unhack 2 announcement
Unhack was the first game I ever published on Steam. My inexperience from back then really shows, and there are a lot of things I regret about this title. Then again, every game should feel like that in retrospect. Thank you so much for being patient with me through the past two or so years.
In 2015, I produced Cursed Sight and Without Within 2. This morning, I have announced my first project for 2016, and it is one that you folks on this board deserve to hear about. Here is Unhack 2, a project I have been secretly brewing for about a year now:
