DLC Common Problems

Detectives, here are some solutions to common problems:

1.DLC won't download automatically / Game launches when I click install button



  • Please set the game language to English
    ---From your Steam library, right-click the game and click "properties". Go to the "languages" tab, and select your language of choice.

  • Check Steam download progress
    --- "View" > "Downloads" or hover your mouse over "Library" > "Downloads".


2.No DLC entry on the main menu



  • Restart steam/game or right click on the the game >"properties" > "local files" -> "verify game files" OR check the tickbox under [View Downloadable Content].


3.Game is running but not showing on screen



  • Right click on the the game >"properties" > "local files" >"browse local files", and change the name of "unitycrashHandler32.exe" to "unitycrashHandler64.exe".

Detectives,

It's been one week since we launched "Unheard". We appreciated all your support and patience. And, we are so grateful for your understanding! Although there are some shortcomings in the game, you still give the game positive reviews. We know that we should keep improving the game, and we promise that we will continue to optimize and live up to everyone's expectations.

We accept the two mainstream opinions: low-difficulty and short length. In fact, our initial purpose is to create a brand-new narrative experience. We found that detective fiction matches for it well. Because this is totally new gameplay which lacks comparison, we choose the most suitable difficulty for players’ experience. We hope that the game could be easier to understand. For us, it is more likely to be a new, mild reasoning test than a hard challenge, or a movie (-_-#)? And the short length dues to short-handed. We are a small team with limited productivity. Besides, we thought that the present ending would be a relatively complete story.

Of course, after the launch week, we are determined that these two problems must be solved. We promise to update at least one DLC for free. This DLC will have rich content and challenging puzzles. We also hope that everyone could stay focused, and we will keep trying and make "Unheard " better.

  • Fixed an issue caused by save data corruption that game may stuck on the loading screen.
  • Updated the Chinese version of User Agreement.
  • Fixed an outline display error on pad screen. (Level 4)
  • Fixed some spelling errors and omissions in the End-Credit.
  • Fixed the phone volume on stage. (Level 4)
  • Fixed some display problems on low-spec PCs.
  • Fixed a subtitle error in summary video. (Level 3)

  • Fixed a bug where the 32-bit system could not download the game properly.
  • Fix the problem that some of the cutscenes have no sound.
  • Fix the problem of level1, level2, level3, the characters will be stuck in some positions.
  • Add confirmation menu for the new game button on the main menu.
  • Fixed a text error in level Chinese cutscene video.
  • Fix the error that click Resume on main menu after finishing game will jump to wrong level.
