Today is the scariest night of the year, so we decided to celebrate it with you by fully updating the Unholy’s demo to the most recent patch released. It is now able to better reflect the many improvements done so far.
If you haven't entered the many realities of Dorothea’s journey yet, now you can have a taste of this experience in its most recent state of update.

Patch 1.3 is out now
Dear players,
Patch 1.3 is now live and ready to improve several aspects of Unholy’s experience.
Let’s see together all the improvements available right now:
After being chased and hiding in the locker Dorothea will be executed by the enemy (Guards, Plagueman, Hunters)
Adding mouse smoothing option in the menu
Collision fixes in Inner Monastery main compound
Sister no longer should block Guards from passing her
Fix for navigation in the administration building on the Priest Plaza Level
Improved system to check if the enemy went out of the navmesh
Fix for restoring blocker in the Church Complex library
Better player noticing for the AI in very dark areas
Various tweaks and improvements to sounds

Patch 1.2 is out now
Dear players,
The patch 1.2 for Unholy is live and ready for download.
Thanks to your feedback, we were able to improve many aspects of Unholy’s gameplay, make several improvements, and fix some of the bugs you reported to us.
The following are all the fixes implemented right now:
Better pathfinding for Infected and Hunters. This means that the issue where Infected, while chasing the player in the Office, would go to a different floor instead of running towards the player, is resolved.
Securing Vent Spawners from NPC glitching. Sometimes NPCs would abruptly stop exiting the Vent and get stuck inside the wall.
When the player is in a locker, enemies will immediately enter Blind Chase mode instead of running into a wall or staring at the locker.
Restores now trigger a Sensing Reset, so NPCs won't "know" what they knew before.
Infected rotation is precise to the Player. They won't take 45-degree steps four times to turn around 180 degrees, but they will turn 180 degrees precisely towards the Player they are chasing.
Sisters no longer make Guards stuck if they want to pass them.
Fixed a bug where enemies would not properly exit the vents in the City Hall area in Chapter V
Fixed a bug where Guards could get stuck in certain place in Chapter V Square arena
Fixed a bug where Players could jump over a ladder and avoid the dialogue with trapped citizen in Chapter V Slums

Patch 1.1 is out now

As announced a few days ago, we are now ready to publish our first update for the Eternal City.
Thanks to your feedback, we were able to improve many aspects of Unholy’s gameplay, make several improvements, and fix some of the bugs you reported to us.
The following are all the fixes implemented right now:
Optimization: Second Floor of Chapter X
Improving the slide tutorial mechanics so players will not get stuck.
Restore fix so you cannot see the unstreamed level at Chapter 3 after the restore.
Removing a bug that caused the slingshot to hide unintentionally in Chapter X
Removing a bug that causes Dorothea to breathe during the outro sequence.
Removing a bug with sounds during the Pit sequence in Chapter VII
Adding occlusion to a sound of an exploding mine
The flashlight state will be saved if the player takes out the slingshot.
Collision issues in Chapter X
Corrupted materials in chapters V and VII
AI improvements - Guards glitching on equipping a weapon.
AI improvements -Guards is not correctly recognizing player on a Burning Plaza in Chapter 3
AI Improvements - Improved rotating for Sister character
AI Improvements - Guards are now better at notifying each other.
Making clearer that exploding barrel has to explode in Distillery in Chapter III
Increasing visibility of new tutorials entries on HUD and in the menu
Improving UI - visibility of the controls to switch ammunitions.
Adding the option to switch ammunition without having to take out the slingshot.
Ongoing optimization
AI improvements: Enemies are more efficient in going around each other and not getting stuck.
Improvements to handling switching masks and slingshot.

Unholy is about to be released here on Steam in just a few days, and before that we would like to thank you all for the great success of our demo at this Steam Next Fest.
In these weeks we received amazing support and participation from tons of people all around the world, and thanks to you we were able to gather lots of important feedback from our demo. Big shout-out to Daz Games, Zangado, MaxMRM, Menos Trece, Shirrako, Insym, and the many, many more who express themselves.
We hear you loud and clear, and so we are pushing ourselves to implement lots of technical and performance improvements, as well as additional options like a FOV Slider, UltraWide support, a font-sizer, and more.
Due to the entity of general improvements and additions, we believe our actual demo is no longer capable to show Unholy as the game it is now, and that’s why we have decided to remove it on July 20 with the release of the game. So – if you still want to have a taste of Unholy’s experience – be quick!
