The game default setting for "Steam Input" has been changed to "Disabled". Steam Input" emulates the controller as XInput, so when "Enabled" was selected, the buttons were represented as if they were on an Xbox controller.
By setting "Steam Input" to "Disabled", the buttons will be displayed for each controller (DualShock4, Switch Pro Controller, Switch Joy-Con).
